Chapter 89: The 'Somewhere...'
Chapter Eighty-Nine:
Somewhere…
As I silently followed this odd guy, I couldn't stop myself not to look around. Even though the whole environment is hidden in the thick clouds I can still see what it hides behind. Different flowers can be seen around us as we walk even hidden in the thick clouds can still see the beauty of them. As we walked through the unknown path the ground was pure green grass and I could feel the softness of it even though my feet were padded.
And for some reason, the whole place seems familiar but I don't remember when or where did I go here. I just couldn't explain it but my feelings go so deep I badly wanted to know what these feelings was mean to me.
"I know you feel this whole place is familiar to you." Suddenly the odd guy said without turning back and stopping. He just continues walking forward as he speaks. "And you really can't help but feel a lot of mixed emotions especially when this whole place has become a big part of your life."
"What are you talking about?" clueless I asked with desperation.
"I'll tell you when we get there."
"What! Where are we really going?!" I irritably asked him but he just ignores me as he continues to walk forward. And I couldn't do anything about it so I just followed him until we reached this place that took me by surprised. "Th-this place…" I don't know why I suddenly felt so scared and nervous when I saw that place.
"Even without your memories the feelings you felt when the destined finally arrived still remain within you." He spoke.
I swallowed as I my heart grips tightly while looking at the mansion that I used to grown up. I used to grow up? What the hell did I just said?! Where do I get that idea? "Ahhh!" pain grows more as my head continues to show some scenes that I wanted to forget. "Stop!" I screamed.
"You want to stop? Then let him live." He answered. "Let your fresh blood be sacrifice for his reign. Free him from his burden and let him rule the entire realm."
"Wh-what…"
"You are the 'Maiden's Grail' and the freshness of your blood will set him free."
"Who?"
"The one God. The chosen."
I couldn't even answer him because of the intensity of the pain I was feeling and I could almost catch my breath because of how I was feeling. Until I couldn't bear it any longer and the pain almost ruin me.
Manu Palace
"You arrived." Alcina said when Galdur finally came.
"Do I have a choice?" he sarcastically replied.
"It looks like Atlas lost to you again." Galdur fiercely looks at her and she immediately raised her both hands. "No offense meant." She spoke. "Anyway, you need--"
"Lady Alcina," a servant suddenly took her attention.
"What is it?"
"Something bad is happening to Princess Siara." The servant answered and Alcina together with Galdur immediately went to Siara's room only to find out she was bleeding.
"What is happening to my daughter?!" Harkan worriedly asked Alcina.
"Something forcibly awakens her consciousness." Galdur was the one who answered him.
"What do you mean?"
"Whoever that was, that someone was trying to awake 'The Curse' one and the only way to do that is to awake Siara's past. And you know what I mean, King Harkan."
Extreme silence enveloped the King and it was a long time before he could answer.
"Is it the work of 'The Joker'?" he seriously asked.
Galdur look at him when suddenly Siara's body trembles. "Liga nos." Galdur casted a spell that made Siara to stop trembled.
"What did you do?" Harkan asked.
"He bind himself to her." Alcina answered.
"Bind?"
"Indeed. We need to control the power of the Princess while she is not yet fully awake because if I don't do that, the Princess will surely be put in danger."
Harkan seriously looks at him. "You need to awake her now." he ordered.
"It's not that easy, my King."
"What do you mean?"
"If the perpetrator of putting the Princess in a coma is 'The Joker' himself, then we will have a hard time waking her up. Because I am sure the spirit of the Princess herself is now confined to the place where it all began."
Somewhere…
I screamed my heart out as the pain embraced me but suddenly those pains slowly loosen. And my deep breath reduced a little.
"So, someone was trying to help you out." The odd guy answered and before I could say a word, he suddenly attacks me and pushes me through a tree.
"Ahhh!" he grabs my neck with his one hand before I feel his hand burning. "Wh-what the hell are you—ahh!" his grip became tighter.
"You! You should not have lived!" he said and because he was holding me tighter, I couldn't utter a word and was about to lost consciousness when suddenly deep within someone awaken.
"Dimittis." I said and he was pushed away. "Do you really think you can just defeat me, Bela." Suddenly I speak but the voice that I was heard wasn't really me. What is going on with me?
"You." He said while holding his chest as if I've done something to him. "Noapapa ak laymakanag?" he surprisingly asked.
"Nonne id quod vis fieri?" I answered. "And do not speak to me in our ancient language because you do not belong to our clan and you have no right to speak our holy language." I exclaimed.
Bela laughs out loud. "What are you saying? Don't you know that the words you all know are from us? If not of us, the Gods, not a word you have nothing to say because we are the only ones who have the ability to give you language. We all bless you to learn, to speak and to think."
"You're right, but you aren't a God. Iustus es vacuum, quod necesse est antecedere in aeternum."
