Chapter Eighty-Eight:

Manu Palace

"I really don't know. There is something strange in the darkness of the night and it was hard to explain."

I said while I still looking up into the dark sky and for some reason I got goose-bumps all over my body and before I could say a word a sudden blast occurred.

"My Lady!" I heard Dealla's voice but because no one of us were prepared for the sudden blast of power we were both flew away to each other and all that I remember before I fainted was this odd creature standing before me. As if he was not affected by the strong explosion caused by a powerful magic and everything went to dark.

At the gate…

"My King, are you alright?" Damond quickly asked when they all felt a sudden burst of a powerful magic.

"I'm fine! What was that?" Harkan immediately asked and before Damond could answer a guard suddenly came.

"My King." The guard bowed from the outside even without opening the door of their chariot.

"What happened?" Harkan asked.

"Someone had thrown a powerful magic inside the palace and the Witches and the Warlocks trying to find out who made it."

"Where is the Princess?" Harkan quickly asked worriedly.

"We still don't—my King!"

Suddenly Harkan quickly open the door and walks out the chariot and Damond and the guard tried to stop him but he didn't let them and quickly walks fast inside the palace where he sees everyone was busy to strengthen the barrier of the palace while the others were trying to figure out who was the insider that caused the blast.

"Where is the Princess, Alcina?" he immediately asked the Witch that he assigned for Siara.

Alcina immediately face him and greet him first before she told what happened. "We happened to find her unconscious inside the garden and--"

"What!" he exclaimed. "Where is she right now?!" he asked as he walks fast.

"To her room." Alcina answered as she followed quickly.

"Have you ever sent a healer to check on my daughter's condition?"

"Yes, we already had." she answered.

Harkan didn't answered and just went straight to Siara's room for a second, leaving Alcina behind the reason why she casted a spell to transport her quickly to where their king went.

Siara's Room

"What happened to her?" I immediately asked after I saw Siara lying in the bed unconscious.

"My King." The healer bowed before he speaks. "We are so sorry to give you the bad news." He begins that I quietly listen while still looking at my daughter. "She's in coma right now."

"What!" anger filled in me as soon as I heard what the healer said and I still couldn't believe that this thing happened so sudden. "What happened to her and why was she in a coma?"

"The attack that had taken place earlier had caused her to fall into a coma. And to these hours we're still doing everything to find out what kind of magic was used that caused her to be in this state."

I walk to Siara's side and hold her frozen hand. "Why is she cold?"

"That is the effect of the magic attack on her, but I can assure you that she will not be put in any danger. We promise, my King."

"Just make sure she is safe or you will all be in danger when something bad happens to my daughter. Understand?"

"Yes, my King." They all answered in unison.

Somewhere…

I just woke up because of the pain I suddenly felt and slowly I open my eyes only to greet by a cloudy atmosphere. I feel like I'm in a dream but if it's just a dream why do I feel the pain of my whole body? I don't really understand it and I don't even know where I am after opening my eyes.

In my memory I was in the garden of the Manu Palace, but now I am here in a place I do not know. Where am I now and what happened to me?

"Don't you intend to stand there?" suddenly someone spoke up to me and when I look around, I saw him standing at my side.

"Wh-who are you?" I asked while I look at him from head to toe and he was wearing these odd clothes. His clothes are colorful and unique and he is really out of this world.

"Will you please stand up?" he said rather than to answer my question.

Slowly I stand up and I even take a deep breath to ease the pain then I look up to him. "Where am I?"

"To Somewhere." He said and he starts to walk away.

"Wait!" I spoke. "Where are you going?" I asked.

"You can follow me if you want to know." He just answered for a while before he continues to walk.

Ah, darn it! Who the hell is he? And where the hell am I? I silently asked myself and without a choice I stand up and followed this odd mysterious guy.

Manu Palace

"I need your help with this one." Alcina plead after casted a spell to be able to talk to the person who can help her to find the culprit that attacks the Princess.

"Kitba koa ap nga ngannihi om ng longtu?"

"Because I know you'll help us right away, Galdur."

Galdur looks at her longer enough to make her feel a bit anxious before he answered. "Let me see what I can do." he replied before cutting off her call.

"Is he willing to help?" Harkan asked afterwards.

Alcina turned to him. "Yes, I'm sure he'll help us."

"Then can I find out what is going on with my daughter? What kind of magic did the intruder use to cause my daughter to put into that situation?"

"According to my findings, the magic used was come from the ancient spell the reason why it's difficult to counteract. And it seems it all happens when 'The Joker' came to town."
