Mi Marido Misterioso (My Mysterious Husband)

Chapter 91: Hiding the Truth

Chapter Ninety-One:

Manu Palace

I don't know but I end up in this endless world and all I could see is nothing but bright light everywhere. Even the path that I'm walking or could I say I'm not really walking? I really don't know. But the path was too light as if I'm walking on the clouds and yet the path that I'm walking is a concrete path and I am so sure of it.

It feels like I am in heaven. Am I dead already? Or I don't know. I really don't know.

When suddenly a new bright light came in and that light suddenly pulled me out of that place. And before I knew it… I am awake at my own room.

"Siara!" my father immediately went at my side.

"Wh-what happened?" I clueless asked. And as I looked at my father, I noticed that he was not the only one present. "Wh-who are they?"

"Siara, are you alright?"

I felt myself first before I answered. "I think I am fine." I answered. "But really what happened to me?"

"Princess Siara." I turned to the caller and stared at her intently but I could not recognize her. "I'm Alcina Guirec a Witch from the Cabot Tribe and I am the guardian that spy on you the one that your King father put on to you." She clearly explained herself to me.

"Fi-fine. Then, what are you doing here? And…" I look at the man standing near her. "Who are you?" I directly asked him.

"Sorry for the late introduction. I am Galdur Liam a Warlock from the Cabot Tribe and now working under the Elders of Manu Clan."

"Then, what are you doing here?" I asked and turned back my gaze to my father. "Father? What is going in here? Why are they even here? What happened to me? Why am I here? Because as far as I remember I'm in the palace garden and waiting for you when…" suddenly I don't remember what happened next and then I remember Dealla. Yes, she was with me, but I couldn't tell them about her since no one knows I also have a secret guardian that protecting me.

"You don't remember anything?" my father asked me that I nodded and he turned his gaze to the two as if seeking for some help.

"Princess Siara," it was Galdur who speaks up. "Someone suddenly attacks you with a powerful magic so you are found unconscious in the garden."

"Someone attack me?" I said as I think of it and then I remember that there was this powerful blast that blew me and Dealla away from each other. "And that is the reason why I fainted." I said in fact. "Then, have you learned who did that?"

"'The Joker'."

"What?" I asked as soon as we entered her palace. "Who are you talking about?"

"The deceiver and the destruction, he was known as 'The Joker' but his real name is Bela."

"What has he got to do with what happen earlier?"

"He is the maker of that light. He had another attack that caused someone to put in danger."

"Has anyone put in danger? Who was that?"

"That was Princess Siara."

"What!" I immediately said and knowing Siara was in danger I decided to go but when I was to move, I suddenly couldn't move. "What the hell! What are you doing to me?! I need to go!" I madly answered.

"No worries she is fine now." she answered.

"How sure are you?" I certainly asked her. "I need to see her so don't stop me! Put down this magic that you casted on me." I ordered.

"Duke Haimon, as I said. You don't have to worry anymore. Princess Siara was saved and she's already with her father. So, you have nothing to worry about."

"But--"

"Stop." She spoke. "Princess Siara's condition is not the real reason why I summoned you here."

"And what was that about?"

"The one that I told you."

"'The Joker'?"

"Indeed."

"What have I got to do with him?"

"Because you will cause the awakening of 'The Curse' one," she seriously answered.

"What?" I am clueless of what she just said. "What are you talking about? First, you were telling me about 'The Joker' and then now you were telling about 'The Curse'? What do you really need from me?"

"You are still clueless as always."

I smirk before I answered. "I really have no idea because I know nothing of what you are saying and another one, I also have nothing to do with it." I clearly stated.

"Yes, you have. And I'll tell you why."

Manu Palace

"Then, have you learned who did that?" Siara asked but this isn't the right time to tell her the truth about 'The Joker' that was going berserk in silence as soon as he came back.

"We still are trying to figure out." I lied. That made Alcina and King Harkan looks at me surprisingly. "But don't worry because I can also find out who committed the attack. For now, you should rest more."

"He was right." Harkan second the motion before Siara could answer back. "You should take a rest more."

"But…"

"Go on. And let them to handle this situation."

Afterwards…

"Why did you lie?" Harkan asked me as soon as we left Siara's room.

"Because it wasn't yet the right time for her to find out about 'The Joker'," I replied.

"Why?" Harkan asked.

"Because it would not be good for the Princess if she knew that she was the reason for his return. Especially now that 'The Joker' is already making way for the Princess to meet her, so that won't be good if she leaned about him," I explained.

Harkan think of it in silence.

"He was right, King Harkan." Alcina finally answered. "This isn't the right time for the Princess to learn about 'The Joker' so for now all we need to do is strengthen the shield to protect her at any cause.
