Chapter Ninety-Two:

Sage's Residence

I just woke up when I suddenly felt my body in pain and I was surprised that I was already at my uncle's house.

"You're finally awake." I heard Norward's voice that made me to look at him.

"What happened to me?" I asked as I tried to sit up even though pain envelops me. "What happened to Princess Siara?"

"No worries she's fine now." Norward answered.

"Good to know."

"So, how's you're feeling right now?"

"I'm a little bit in pain but so far I think I am good." I spoke. "But what happened? As far as I can remember, Princess Siara and I were just talking when I suddenly flew into the air."

"You were right, that was happened to both of you." I intently look at him. "And it happened because someone attacked you."

"Who?"

"It was 'The Joker'." It was Netro who answered. "And fortunately, I saw what happened right away and somehow I was able to counter his power so you and the Princess didn't hurt that much though."

Somehow, I felt that he was about to tell something important. "What?" I encourage him to tell me the truth.

"I don't know how that happened but Princess Siara was put into coma." Surprised was written all over my face and I decided to go and see her as soon as possible but Netro quickly added. "But she's fine right now."

"How sure you are?"

"Because the one who fought to wake her up again was the Princess herself," he answered. "And 'The Joker' seems to have been able to awaken her consciousness so she was able to resist his power and she was able to imprison even for a short time 'The Joker'."

"Really?"

"Yes, indeed."

"Then, what will happen to the Princess now?" Norward asked.

"So far there is no sign of the return of her memories of the past. So, we can be sure that 'The Curse' one will not wake up for a while."

"Still, what is destined to happen will happen no matter what we all do," I said.

I stared into the distance as I wondered what had happened to me after the attack of one of my father's opponents. I'll admit I wasn't comfortable with the answer of Galdur who introduced himself as a Warlock. I feel like he is keeping a secret and something has changed in me but I can't ask anyone because they certainly won't tell the truth either. That is why I choose to keep quiet and just keep it to myself.

"My Lady, are you alright?" Wei asked me.

I look at her and smiled. "I'm fine, thank you."

"Then do you need anything?"

"For today…" I think but there's nothing to think. "Nothing. I just want to rest first." I said as I stand up and went to my bed.

"Good, you really need to take a rest." She said before she said goodbye and leaving me alone.

I let out a deep breath before I lay down on the bed. I really feel like I'm missing something but I can't figure out what it is. Until I remember Dealla that made me to sit down.

"Deal!" I called her out but she never showed up. What happened to her? I worriedly asked myself and I decided to leave my room when suddenly Dealla finally showed up. "Dealla! What happened? Are you alright? Aren't you hurt?"

"I am fine, my Princess." She answered. "I'm thinking of you instead of myself, how are you, my Princess? I heard that you were put into coma?" she worriedly asked and the last words that she told surprised me.

"I am fine already, don't worry too much. But you were saying that I was put into coma?" I curiously asked that made Dealla stares at me seriously.

"Did they say nothing?"

I shake my head. "Nothing. All I know is that I fainted but being in a coma, I don't have any idea of it."

"Maybe, they have their own reasons why they didn't say that."

I deeply sigh. "Anyway, I don't care that much. The important thing right now is for me to know if you have any idea who attacked us. So, do you know anything about it?"

"For now, I know nothing."

I stared at her carefully and made sure if she was hiding something or even hiding a secret. But I think it looks like she's hiding nothing and she's telling the truth. I just sighed before I answered.

"If that so, I hope they could find anything that could help them to find the culprit."

"They will." She spoke. "But for now, you should take a rest and I'll be back once I search for some clue that can help to find the culprit."

"Thanks Deal."

"My pleasure."

Dream…

I don't know but I feel like I'm walking on a cloud. I was walking slowly on a road I could not see. And yet I continue to walk as if I am looking for something I cannot remember. I just walk through this path endless until a bright light blinded me.

Next day…

"Lady Siara, are you awake?"

Wei's voice woke me up and I felt like I came from a faraway place but didn't feel tired. I take a deep breath before I answered.

"Yes, I'm awake. What is it that you want?" I asked while I still lying in bed.

"Duke Haimon was here to see you."

I sit down immediately when I heard Haimon's name and immediately went out of my bed. "Tell him I'll be there in a minute."

"Yes, my Lady."

Afterwards…

"Haimon!" I quickly called his attention.

"Siara!" he immediately approached me and checks on me. "Are you alright?"

"Yes, I'm fine." So, he already knew what had happened to me and the looks of it he's too worried.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes I am." I said and smiled.

"Thank God. Now, can we talk?" he seriously asked that made me curious.
