Chapter Ninety-Four:

Manu Palace

"Love isn't enough for the two of you to face the danger that will come once the two of you get married. And I say to you two, I agree with whatever you have now but marriage is not in our conversation. So, what I hear now never happened so this conversation is already over. Understand?" he clearly and firmly stated.

We clearly heard what my father wanted us to do but I can't just let him to decide on my future because I'm old enough to make decision. And I want to be with Haimon with or without my father's blessing.

"I don't want to be far from you, Haimon." I said as we left my father's throne and now, we are here at the patio. "I decided to come with you with or without my father's blessing."

"No." he firmly answered.

"Why?"

"Because your father did not agree to my marriage proposal," he answered.

"So what? I can decide for myself. And the most important thing is that you said what your purpose is so why don't you just take me with you? And just don't care if he agrees or not."

Haimon takes a deep breath before he answered. "I want to take you home but I still respect your father's decision so, no. I won't disobey your father's trust. I'm really sorry."

I was mad with what he said so I just walked away and I didn't look back even though he tried to call my name I didn't pay attention to him anymore. I just went straight back to my room without seeing him and just sealed myself inside.

Meanwhile…

I was about to follow Siara when she suddenly walks away without a word and I even tried calling her but she just ignored me. And I felt so much pain when I saw Siara's reaction because I knew I had hurt her with what I said but I could do nothing because I didn't want to ruin her father's trust. I just silently watched her leave and deeply sighed afterwards.

"So, you chose to follow what I said rather than follow what my daughter wanted." Suddenly Harkan spoke to me and I didn't even notice that he was there.

"King Harkan?" I surprisingly answered.

"I'll ask you, what do you really want to happen?"

"What?" I clueless asked.

"The truth. Tell me."

I stared at him for a long time before I decided to say how I really felt. "I will no longer lie King Harkan. If your daughter didn't precede me maybe I myself will tell her to come with me now and just ignore what you said."

"Are you telling me that you are still ready to marry my daughter even if you come from a different clan?" he seriously asked me.

"Yes, I wanted and baldy wanted to marry her no matter what." I honestly answered.

Harkan takes a very deep breath before he looks up into the night sky. "Do you know my daughter is very important to me? That I hid her to all to protect her, which even though I knew what I made was a weird decision I decided because I had a deep reason. A deep reason that is hard to explain but I am sure it will only benefit my daughter." He said and looks at me. "So, when you get married, I'm sure the whole city will know her since you come from a noble family. They won't just stop until you publicly introduce your wife. And it will put her in much danger. Especially since she was supposed to be the wife of Prince Kieran, though he'll not be able to recognize Siara because she was strongly opposed to it. Still it's one of my reasons, now would you still decide to marry her?"

Reinhardt's Residence

"Yes, indeed. And I will do everything just to face him especially he was the one who caused the explosion here in the mansion. I won't let him go just like that." I firmly stated.

No one of them answered and I just left them without looking back.

"Sir Kanik." Maury immediately approached me. "What happened there?"

"I finally learned that the cause of the explosion here was because of 'The Joker', the odd man that suddenly kidnaped me and brought me to a place that he created. And now I wanted to know who he really is."

"But if you said that he was the one that created the explosion then, why would you want to meet him again? Isn't he dangerous enough to meet?"

"Yes, he is dangerous but I want to know something about him." I spoke.

"But how can you meet him?"

"That… I think I should ask Medea's help." I decided. "So, let's go to her room now."

Manu Palace

"Siara?" I called out from the outside of her room. "Are you still mad, at me?" I asked but still there is no respond. "Alright, I surrender." I finally said what she wanted to hear. "You can come with me with or without your father's--" suddenly the door swings open and as quickly as a storm Siara comes out of her room.

"Did I hear it correctly? You want me to come with you? But how about my father, are you sure you wanted to ruin his trust for you?" she seriously asked.

"Yes. Because all I want is to be with you no matter what. I badly wanted to marry you. So, will you marry me?"

Siara smiles so brightly and without a word she just hugs me so tight and cry on my shoulder.

"Siara…"

"Yes. Indeed. I will marry you anytime! Anywhere!" she said and I push her a bit to kiss her in her lips.

I really don't know why but this decision that I made was all because of Harkan. I don't know what was on his mind and he suddenly agreed but I will not miss this opportunity and I will marry Siara.
