"Haimon!"

I immediately heard Siara calling me and I immediately answered as I approached her. "Siara!" and immediately check on her. "Are you alright?" I worriedly asked her.

"Yes, I'm fine." She replied but still I couldn't help not to get worry.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes I am." She said and smiled.

"Thank God. Now, can we talk?" I seriously asked her that made her a bit curious.

"If it's about the person who attacked me--"

"No." I cut her off. "Because I already knew who attacks you."

"What!" her eyes shrink in surprised. "How did you know?"

"I'll tell you in detail but we only need the two of us. I don't want anyone to hear what we're talking about."

Siara looks at me for a couple of minutes before she gave up a deep sighed. "So far, my father will not allow me to leave the palace. So maybe we can just talk in my room, if it's fine with you?"

"That will be fine." I spoke.

"Alright, let's go."

"What?" I am clueless of what she just said. "What are you talking about? First, you were telling me about 'The Joker' and then now you were telling about 'The Curse'? What do you really need from me?"

"You are still clueless as always."

I smirk before I answered. "I really have no idea because I know nothing of what you are saying and another one, I also have nothing to do with it." I clearly stated.

"Yes, you have. And I'll tell you why."

"Why?" I encourage her to speak.

"Because you are her weakness so while it is still early you have to break up with Princess Siara before it is too late."

"Nonsense!" I spoke.

"It isn't."

"You know what, there's nothing important about what you say so it would be better for you to let me go so that I can go to Siara right now."

Navina intently looks at me. "You don't have any idea of what is coming, Duke Haimon."

"Then, tell me. What is it?"

"'The Joker' is a deceiver so once you encounter him, I am sure he will be able to wake up the full consciousness of the Princess and you will be the cause of that matter."

"Why did you say that to Duke Haimon, Princess Navin?" Atlas curiously asked me while looking through the window. "Isn't it you who said to let those two loves each other freely?"

"Yes, indeed. I let them to love each other but I was never agreeing to let them get marry."

"Why? Are they getting married?"

"They were planning too." I said and turned to look at him. "And by the time the Princess's maidenhood disappears the protection place upon her will surely weaken and when that time comes, 'The Joker' will have more chances to awaken the full memory of his sister." I seriously stated.

Siara's Room

"What are we going to talk about?" Siara immediately asked me as soon as we left alone.

"I want to ask for your hand to your father." I said and I am fully decided to marry her because I wanted to protect her by my side no matter what it takes.

"What?"

"You heard it right I want to marry you."

"But… alright! I won't refuse your proposal but haven't we already discussed it with your Uncle that we won't do what we want to do while my father doesn't fully accept us?"

"Yes, indeed. I know but what happened to you today. That I am far away from you and I've done nothing to protect you. Make me go crazy thinking of you, of how are you or if you are hurt or not. I was almost uneasy because I was so worried that is the reason why I finally decided and this is what I want. I want to marry you. Will you marry me?" I said while I take out the box of the ring that I bought the other day and handed it to her.

Siara looks at it intently before she accepted it with a sweet smile. "Yes, I will marry you." She answered.

"Oh!" I hug her so tight before I released her and open the box to wear it through her ring finger. "And now, I want to talk to your father."

"Uhm," she nodded.

"I came here to officially ask for your daughter's hand." I firmly stated as soon as I face Harkan, father of Siara.

But it didn't even budge or even have any reaction after I said my purpose. I waited a long time for his answer while Siara was just beside me silently waiting for her father's response.

I was even more nervous because he was so quiet and I couldn't even read anything from his face. Now I am feeling more anxious when suddenly Siara holds my hand firmly as if she is giving me more courage and be calm as much as possible.

"Do you even know what you are going to enter?" finally Harkan speaks up but still he is serious and unreadable.

"Yes, indeed." I answered with full of courage.

"The marriage is not casual especially you two are from a different clan, and you know what I mean right?"

"Yes."

"Then, maybe you already know what I will answer, right?"

"But father," it was Siara who finally choose to speak out. "We love each other so much that even though we come from different clans that matter is no longer important to us because what matters is that we love each other."

"Love isn't enough for the two of you to face the danger that will come once the two of you get married. And I say to you two, I agree with whatever you have now but marriage is not in our conversation. So, what I hear now never happened so this conversation is already over. Understand?" he clearly and firmly stated.
