Jiang Chen was completely unaware of the events unfolding in the Naruto World. At that moment, he was fully immersed in his training.
With Bardock as his mentor, time passed in a straightforward and fulfilling manner, yielding extraordinary results. While his combat power hadn't increased dramatically, his combat experience and techniques were improving at an astonishing rate.
Compared to when he first started, Jiang Chen could clearly feel the transformation within himself.
"Boom!"
In mid-air, two figures collided fiercely.
The next moment, Jiang Chen was sent flying backward, skidding several steps on the ground before finally coming to a halt.
"Bardock Oji San, you're way too strong!"
Feeling the vibrations coursing through his body, Jiang Chen couldn't help but exclaim in admiration. Looking at Bardock, his respect deepened.
Bardock truly lived up to his reputation as the father of the protagonist and the creator of legends. Even now, he seemed to have mastered the basics of controlling Ki— a remarkable feat considering Planet Vegeta didn't have any formal Ki training methods. Bardock must have learned it during his conquests across various planets.
"Well done, Aspara. Your combat techniques are quite advanced now," Bardock praised with a hint of awe in his voice. "Once you reach adulthood, your combat power will undoubtedly exceed 2,000."
Over the past few months of training together, Bardock had been continually amazed by Jiang Chen's ability to learn quickly. Anything he taught Jiang Chen was picked up in no time. Now, Bardock found himself running out of things to teach. Compared to Jiang Chen, his eldest son Raditz's talent seemed far inferior.
"Bardock Oji San, you flatter me. I still have a long way to go," Jiang Chen replied with a humble smile.
"By the way, King Vegeta will be teaching us how to create Power Ball for our squads today," Bardock said, suddenly remembering something. "Let's end today's training here. When I return, I'll teach you that ability."
"Also, come have dinner at my house. Raditz is coming home today. It's been a while since you two last saw each other, hasn't it?"
Hearing this, Jiang Chen's eyes lit up, and he quickly nodded.
"Understood, Bardock Oji San. Please go ahead!"
The technique of creating a Power Ball (Artificial Moon) was something Jiang Chen had long wanted to master. With it, his safety outside Planet Vegeta would be greatly enhanced. A tenfold power boost was invaluable, especially in the early stages when techniques like Kaiōken and Super Saiyan transformations were still beyond reach.
Bardock took to the skies, disappearing quickly.
After seeing him off, Jiang Chen didn't head to Gine's house immediately. Instead, he resumed his training. For him, every day on Planet Vegeta was an opportunity to grow stronger, and he wasn't about to let it go to waste.
As the sun gradually set, Jiang Chen finally stopped, tidying himself up before flying toward Bardock's home.
Fifteen minutes later, he landed at the entrance of Bardock's house.
Just as he touched down, a loud voice rang out from inside.
"What? Kakarrot's combat power is only 2? How can I have such a useless brother?" Raditz's voice was filled with disbelief.
"Raditz, what nonsense are you spouting? He's your brother, weak or not!" Gine's disapproving voice followed immediately.
"I don't want such a useless brother! Aspara is already pathetic enough, and Kakarrot is even worse!" Raditz retorted indignantly.
"Raditz, shut your mouth!"
"Ugh, he's such a weakling!"
Hearing the commotion inside, Jiang Chen couldn't help but smirk.
"Ahem!"
He cleared his throat softly. The sound wasn't loud, but it immediately caused a stir inside the house.
Jiang Chen waited for a moment before gently knocking on the door. In a calm and warm voice, he called out, "Gine Oba San."
"Creak!"
The door opened.
"Aspara, you're here!" Gine's expression showed a hint of embarrassment.
"Gine Oba San."
"Raditz Nii San!"
Jiang Chen smiled warmly, unfazed, and even greeted Raditz at the door.
"Hmph!"
Raditz's face flushed slightly with discomfort, but he turned away with a cold snort.
"Come in, come in," Gine quickly interjected, attempting to change the subject and welcoming Jiang Chen inside.
"Thank you, Gine Oba San!"
Jiang Chen smiled and nodded, stepping inside while casting a glance toward Raditz.
At this age, Raditz was only six or seven years old. He already sported his trademark long, flowing black hair, but compared to his fierce adult appearance, he seemed much more adorable.
As Jiang Chen looked at him, Raditz activated his scouter "Beep, beep!"
"Thirty-two!"
"Aspara, you're still so useless, only thirty-two? How do you expect to complete missions in the future?" Raditz's tone dripped with disappointment and a hint of disdain, his earlier embarrassment forgotten.
"Raditz, Aspara is already working in logistics," Gine rebuked him sharply. "And you shouldn't speak about Aspara like that. He's your brother."
"Logistics? That's just too weak," Raditz muttered with a pout but didn't press the issue further.
"Aspara, don't mind him. Raditz is just like that. Let's eat first— Bardock might take some time to return," Gine said apologetically.
"I understand, Gine Oba San," Jiang Chen replied with a nod, showing no sign of offense.
After Gine's words, Raditz didn't push the matter any further.
Soon, Gine served the food, and everyone began to eat heartily.
While they were eating, a large dinosaur leg was suddenly pushed toward Jiang Chen.
"Here!" Raditz turned his head away, avoiding eye contact.
"Thank you!"
Jiang Chen paused in surprise, then smiled and accepted the dinosaur leg. It was clear that this young Raditz wasn't nearly as harsh as the character he would become in the original story.
Watching this interaction, Gine couldn't help but smile.
After dinner, Jiang Chen decided not to leave. He wanted to wait for Bardock's return to learn the technique for creating a Power Ball (Artificial Moon).
"Aspara, you're so weak," Raditz declared in his usual haughty tone. "Come on, your big brother has some free time. Let me teach you something. Even if you're just a Low Class warrior, you shouldn't embarrass me."
Jiang Chen's expression turned a bit odd as he listened to Raditz.
"What? You don't want to learn?" Raditz frowned, noticing Jiang Chen's reaction.
Before Jiang Chen could respond, a figure descended from the sky.
"Bardock Oji San!"
Jiang Chen's eyes lit up, and he quickly ran to greet him.
"Father!"
Even Raditz looked a bit uneasy, muttering softly.
Raditz's personality, though arrogant, was far better than someone like Nappa. When he arrived on Earth in the original story, he only killed a farmer and, even after capturing Son Gohan, didn't harm him.
Despite being injured by Gohan, Raditz never killed either Gohan or Piccolo, showing he wasn't as ruthless as he often portrayed himself to be.
