MULTIVERSE & NARUTO WITH GACHA SYSTEM AND KAKASHI

Chapter 42: Property

Saeko stepped over the corpses on the ground as if they were nothing more than obstacles.

She knew how to keep her emotions in check. Killing others to save herself didn't make her hesitate or regret her actions.

When she spotted Kakashi with Saya, she approached them without a second thought.

"What brings you here?"

"Just making sure my offer stays intact," Kakashi replied.

Hearing his response, Saeko immediately realized Saya was the other person Kakashi had offered to help.

"Saeko Busujima," she introduced herself, extending her hand toward Saya.

"Saya Takagi," Saya replied, shaking Saeko's hand firmly.

"Let's move," Kakashi cut in, already heading outside.

Saya and Saeko exchanged a brief glance before following him.

"Where are we going now?" Saya asked.

"To the supermarket," Kakashi said.

"Why?" Saeko questioned.

"To loot everything," he said bluntly. "Remember, I will leave this world whether someone comes with me or not. And isn't this chaos the perfect opportunity to take everything I can? Be it packed food or electronic gadgets."

"Then why didn't you take things from the school?" Saya asked .

"I already did," Kakashi replied casually. "Especially the library I took every single book."

"So, do you want to come with me or go with them?" Kakashi asked, glancing back as they stepped outside. Students were rushing toward the buses in a chaotic frenzy.

"Get inside!"

"Run! Run!"

"Zombies!"

Saeko observed the scene, students shoving and trampling one another in their desperation to stay alive. She turned back to Kakashi and said calmly, "I don't have a problem staying with you."

"Me too," Saya added, nodding in agreement. She understood clearly that she wouldn't survive alone or with her panicked schoolmates.

Her background meant nothing to them now.

"Then let's go," Kakashi said as he moved forward.

But it seemed not everyone was okay with their decision.

"Takagi-san, where are you going? Come with us," a man in glasses called out to her.

Kakashi glanced at him, recognizing the face from the anime, though his name escaped him.

"Busujima-san, you're with them too? You can join us as well. We're heading toward the eastern highway," the man continued, completely ignoring Kakashi, who was only half his height.

"No need, Shido-sensei. We already have plans," Saya rejected him immediately, aware of his true intentions.

Saeko didn't speak, but her calm stance made her refusal obvious.

The rejection embarrassed Shido, especially with so many people watching. He was visibly agitated, his smile faltering.

"This situation is making you nervous," he said, attempting to recover. "Sensei knows what's best for you. Come with me." He reached out to grab Saya's hand.

Or so he thought.

Before he could touch her, his hand was severed at the wrist. Blood sprayed as the hand fell to the ground, twitching.

Saeko had been ready to act, but Kakashi was faster.

"Ahhhhhh!" Shido screamed in pain and disbelief, clutching his bleeding stump.

"I don't like others touching my property," Kakashi said calmly, wiping the blood from his blade as he walked away.

Saya stared at the severed hand and the screaming teacher before following Kakashi, whispering, "Property..."

Saeko glanced at the teacher with disgust, then followed.

"I couldn't even see his movements," Saeko thought, watching Kakashi's back.

The students who witnessed the scene only paused for a moment before chaos consumed them once more, rushing to board the buses.

Some tried to join Kakashi's group but were swiftly rejected.

"There are too many," Saya muttered, her eyes scanning the overwhelming number of zombies.

Saeko followed, glancing around. "It's like the whole city is overrun."

"That's what usually happens," Kakashi replied, slashing through another zombie with precision.

"What do you mean? Has this happened before?" Saya asked, quickly picking up on the implication in his words.

Saeko added, "Didn't you arrive just a week ago? Has something like this happened in your world too?"

"Not in my world," Kakashi said calmly, his blade slicing through another zombie as he spoke, "but in many other worlds."

Both women fell silent, listening intently as he continued, "Zombie apocalypses are a common theme in the Omniverse."

"Didn't you say this was the first world you traveled to?" Saeko questioned, recalling her earlier conversation with him.

"Yes, it's the first world I've traveled to," Kakashi replied without breaking stride, "but not the first one I got to know."

Saya swung a metal rod, managing to fend off a zombie lunging at her, but it wasn't enough to stop the attack. Saeko swiftly stepped in, slicing the creature down with ease.

"Thanks," Saya said, panting, grateful for the save.

"It's okay," Saeko replied calmly, not seeming to mind at all.

Still curious, Saya pressed on. "Does that mean you know about many worlds?" Her interest in the topic was clear.

"Yes," Kakashi answered, his tone matter-of-fact. "There are countless worlds. Some have cosmic entities that devour planets for breakfast, others where multidimensional beings grant humans powers to solve impossible problems, and even a world where an alien becomes stronger just by being under the sun."

"Sounds dangerous," Saya said, fending off another attack.

"They are dangerous," Kakashi replied. "My world has aliens, dimensions, eyes that grant special powers, and massive beasts that can talk. Though, compared to them, it's less dangerous."

He spoke calmly as he entered the mall through a shattered door.

"Should I feel lucky?" Saya muttered, following him.

"So what should we take?" Saeko asked.

"Everything," Kakashi replied, picking up a stuffed toy elephant. "Everything," he repeated, pulling out a scroll to store it inside.

"I definitely need that," Saya said
