Naruto: After Seclusion Becoming Naruto Grandfather

Chapter 25: Chapter 25

Jiraiya stood atop the toad's head, looking down at Naruto with a mixture of sadness and resolve in his eyes.

"Konoha ninja?" Naruto tilted his head slightly, scrutinizing the white-haired man. His tone carried a hint of wariness.

The man's forehead protector bore the character for "oil" rather than the Konoha insignia, leaving Naruto momentarily unsure.

Jiraiya nodded slowly. "Yes, I'm from Konoha."

"Then we're enemies," Naruto said, squinting at him as he began to reach out to the Nine-Tails within. The man before him was no ordinary ninja; his aura radiated strength. From what Naruto could sense, this man's power rivaled that of Might Guy. Facing him directly would be impossible without aid from the Nine-Tails.

Jiraiya sighed, a look of sympathy softening his features. "We shouldn't be enemies, Naruto."

Naruto tilted his head, his expression skeptical.

Jiraiya pointed to himself, his voice steady but tinged with emotion. "I was your father's teacher. I'm one of the few remaining people in this world who share a connection with you."

Naruto froze momentarily, his expression hardening into a sneer. "If that's true, then where were you all these years? I never saw you in Konoha."

Jiraiya opened his mouth to respond but paused, a trace of guilt flashing across his face. Finally, he sighed. "I've been outside the village. I… wasn't aware of what was happening in Konoha."

Naruto's tone was cold, dismissive. "Oh. So now you're here to stop me?"

Jiraiya's voice turned heavier. "Naruto, no matter what, Konoha can't be destroyed. You need to stop this—at least don't let it go this far."

Naruto laughed bitterly. "Why not? Konoha gave me nothing but pain for years. Why shouldn't I make them feel my pain too?"

Jiraiya shook his head firmly. "If your father were alive, he would never have allowed this."

Naruto's expression darkened. "Grandpa Chito told me that if my father knew what I'd been through, he would have destroyed Konoha himself."

Jiraiya's face tightened. After a moment of silence, he sighed deeply. "It seems there's no other way. I'll have to stop you myself."

Naruto sneered. "Then why waste time talking?"

The blood-red chakra of the Nine-Tails surged around Naruto, distorting the space around him. The oppressive aura sent waves rippling through the air as six crimson tails swayed behind him, their energy whipping violently.

This was Naruto's Six-Tails Mode—the limit his body could handle at its current level of development. In this form, he had reached the strength of a Kage-level shinobi, a far cry from the Naruto of the past.

Jiraiya's expression grew serious. "The power of the Nine-Tails…" he muttered, his tone grave.

Even for him, a Sannin, the Nine-Tails was a force to be treated with utmost caution.

Naruto disappeared in a blur, reappearing behind Jiraiya with a fully formed Rasengan in his hand. Its usual blue glow was tainted with the crimson hue of the Nine-Tails' chakra.

"Needle Jizo!"

Jiraiya's hair lengthened and hardened instantly, wrapping around his body like armor. Naruto's Rasengan smashed against the silver hair, creating a loud, grating sound as strands were ripped away. Though the Rasengan couldn't break through, its immense force pushed Jiraiya back slightly, making him grit his teeth.

Naruto didn't let up. As Jiraiya raised his foot to kick him away, Naruto reacted with lightning speed. Using his free hand, he pressed against Jiraiya's leg, twisting in mid-air to turn defense into offense. He aimed a kick at Jiraiya's head, the only unprotected part of his body.

Jiraiya's eyes widened in surprise as he leaped backward, narrowly avoiding the strike. Even while retreating, his hands moved rapidly through a series of seals.

"Needle Senbon!"

Thin strands of his silver hair shot forward like a rain of needles, surrounding Naruto in every direction.

Naruto was caught mid-air, unable to dodge. The needles coiled around him, binding his body tightly.

Jiraiya frowned, sensing something was off. Naruto wasn't panicking. Instead, a faint smile tugged at the corner of his mouth.

It was a shadow clone.

The real Naruto appeared behind Jiraiya, another Rasengan in hand. The swirling sphere of chakra roared as it neared its target.

Jiraiya barely had time to react. The Rasengan struck his shoulder, its edge grazing him just before he activated the Substitution Technique, vanishing in a puff of smoke.

He reappeared on the other side of the toad's head, clutching his injured shoulder. Blood seeped through his hand, a testament to the power Naruto now wielded.
