Chapter 110: Chapter 110: Tsukiyomi-no-Mikoto
"Hiruzen, we can't let Mirai continue like this. He's a growing threat, and we need to act now to eliminate him!"
Danzō slammed his cane onto the ground with a sharp crack, his face twisted in frustration.
The words Uchiha Mirai had spoken, coupled with imprisoning Uchiha Fugaku in the Police Force, were nothing short of a direct insult to their authority. That insolent brat didn't even try to hide his disdain for them.
Koharu and Homura chimed in, their voices laced with urgency.
"That's right! Mirai's rebellious intentions are becoming far too obvious."
"We cannot tolerate this any longer, Hiruzen!"
As advisors to the Hokage, the trio of Danzō, Koharu, and Homura had long enjoyed their unchallenged authority within the village. No one had dared cross them before.
But now, Mirai had gone too far. He imprisoned their grandchildren, killed Root members, and openly defied orders from the Hokage himself.
This wasn't just insubordination—it was a blatant challenge to their power. Such actions could not be overlooked!
Hearing their demands, Sarutobi Hiruzen sighed heavily.
"Enough. This matter ends here."
"What did you just say, Hiruzen?!"
The three advisors glared at him, their faces a mixture of disbelief and anger.
Hiruzen met their glares and began explaining calmly.
"Technically, Uchiha Mirai isn't wrong. When the Konoha Police Force was established, all authority over it was handed to the Uchiha clan. The Hokage doesn't have the power to interfere."
He paused before continuing, his tone more somber. "Furthermore, the Uchiha clan's strength now lies entirely in Mirai's hands. If we act against him, it could provoke the entire Uchiha clan into rebellion."
"If that happens, Konoha will face a crisis. And if other villages seize the opportunity to attack, the consequences will be catastrophic."
Danzō sneered coldly. "No matter the cost, we must deal with the Uchiha. They may be strong, but can they overpower the entire village? This is our best chance to root out and destroy the Uchiha clan completely!"
Koharu and Homura nodded in agreement.
"We support Danzō on this, Hiruzen. This is the time to act!"
Hiruzen's gaze hardened as he looked at his old teammates. With a wry smile, he said,
"Very well, then. You three can handle this yourselves."
"Danzō, take your Root and initiate the attack on the Uchiha. Koharu, Homura—send the shinobi from your clans to support the assault. I'll have the ANBU back you up from the rear."
The room fell into an uncomfortable silence.
Koharu and Homura quickly averted their eyes. They knew firsthand how terrifying Uchiha Mirai's power was. He had crushed thousands of enemy shinobi across multiple battlefields. Sending their clans' shinobi against him was nothing short of sending them to their deaths.
Danzō scoffed at the suggestion. Both the Root shinobi and those from the Shimura clan were vital assets in his quest for the Hokage's seat and maintaining his authority. He couldn't afford to squander them on a futile battle with the Uchiha.
Hiruzen's voice cut through their hesitation.
"You're unwilling to risk your own people, yet you expect other clans in the village to fight the Uchiha? Have you even considered the consequences if the attack fails?"
Hiruzen let out a weary sigh, his mind wandering to better days. If only Hatake Sakumo, Orochimaru, Tsunade, or Jiraiya were still here in the village. If only the Senju clan were still active…
He wouldn't be in this position, torn apart by the Uchiha problem.
Danzō opened his mouth to argue but found himself at a loss for words. After a moment, he muttered, "Are we just going to let Uchiha Mirai keep acting so arrogantly?"
Hiruzen exhaled a puff of smoke from his pipe, his voice low but firm.
"The Mangekyō Sharingan inevitably leads to blindness. That is an undeniable fact. All we need to do is be patient, and we'll achieve our goals eventually."
He paused before adding, "In the meantime… Danzō, perhaps you should focus on bolstering your own strength."
Danzō's eyes lit up. The recent losses of his Root shinobi toMirai had been frustrating, but if he could rebuild, it would be a step forward.
And since Hiruzen had given his approval, he'd encounter fewer obstacles in replenishing Root's ranks.

Looking at the translucent panel before him, Uchiha Mirai slowly closed his eyes, his mind focusing on the reward he had recently gained from Fugaku: Tsukiyomi-no-Mikoto.
After some time, he opened his eyes again, a faint glimmer of surprise dancing across his face.
Tsukiyomi-no-Mikoto, like Tsukuyomi, was a genjutsu targeting the mind. Both techniques dragged their victims into a mental space created by the user.
However, while Tsukuyomi specialized in absolute control over the mental space—time, location, and even physical sensations being dictated entirely by the caster—Tsukiyomi-no-Mikoto had a different purpose.
This genjutsu created an illusionary world almost indistinguishable from reality, one that would evolve based on the victim's decisions and actions.
It was eerily similar to the Infinite Tsukuyomi, albeit limited to affecting a single target.
Moreover, the caster could willingly enter the illusionary world themselves.
A realization dawned on Mirai's face, a sly grin spreading.
This was practically a personal life simulator.
