For a moment, everyone was silent. In the vast Corpse Cathedral, the sound of a falling needle could be heard.

The new person sitting at the last seat gave a brief self-introduction, which was like a bomb going off in everyone's hearts, causing a huge stir.

"That's right, the Sage of Six Paths is dead."

Uchiha Mikoto responded, "I can confirm this. According to the historical records, after the Sage of Six Paths sealed the Tailed Beasts, his chakra was exhausted, and he passed away."

She figured Nagato would probably be totally confused.

"No, no, wait, wait!" Orochimaru gasped, looking utterly shocked as he stared at the figure at the far end. He swallowed hard and stiffly asked, "Are you really the legendary Sage of Six Paths, the originator of the ninja sect, and the ancestor of chakra?!"

"It's naturally true."

Ootsutsuki Hagoromo said calmly, "Although I've been dead for a long time, there's no way anyone would impersonate me, right?"

Here's the problem, though. Onoki's eyes twitched as he suppressed his shock. "But... you've been dead for over a thousand years. How could you be here?"

"There are many reasons, of course."

Ootsutsuki Hagoromo clearly didn't want to say more. He downplayed it and said, "But it's a matter of great importance, so I can't reveal the details. I was fortunate enough to meet 'Mr. Adam,' so I dared to ask Mr. Adam if I could join the Twilight Hermit Order."

The serious tone caused everyone to tense up.

Since joining the Twilight Hermit Order, Mr. Adam had never been this serious. Whatever happened, he always appeared calm and detached.

Orochimaru immediately focused his mind, determined not to miss a single word, and listened carefully, his ears perked up.

"I've discussed this with Otsutsuki Hagoromo," Uchiha Sogetsu said, glancing at Otsutsuki Hagoromo, who sat at the far end of the table. 

Seeing the worry on Hagoromo's face, he continued, "But I still think it's necessary to let you all know. However, remember, this is just for your understanding, not to delve deeper. Do you understand?"

"Yes, Mr. Adam," everyone replied.

Orochimaru's heart shook slightly, realizing that this was directed at him.

"Good," Uchiha Sogetsu said calmly. "My advice is simple: Be cautious of the moon."

Be cautious of the moon?

At these words, everyone, including Orochimaru, Konan, White Fang, Onoki, and Mikoto, showed expressions of surprise.

What does "be cautious of the moon" mean?

However, Uchiha Sogetsu didn't intend to explain further and instead turned his gaze to the end of the long table.
