Naruto: The Tale of an Otsutsuki

Kirito, TenTen, and Rock Lee ventured deep into the dense forests of the Land of Bears, their mission clear but Kirito's intentions somewhat enigmatic.

"Wait, Kirito," Lee asked, realizing their direction. "I thought we were headed to Hell Valley?"

Kirito smirked. "That was a diversion. Some Hoshigakure ninjas were watching us earlier. I wanted to throw them off. The real trail leads deeper into the forest."

TenTen tilted her head. "Why not just tell Akahoshi directly?"

"Because he doesn't trust us, and frankly, I'm not wasting time convincing him. I also want to study the meteorite without interference."

"Got it," TenTen replied, though her curiosity about Kirito's interest in the meteorite grew.

The three soon came upon a boulder in the forest. There, a masked figure holding the glowing meteorite—the "Star"—stood waiting.

"You found me so quickly..." muttered the masked figure, Natsuhi, her tone a mix of disbelief and caution. She hadn't expected to be tracked so precisely, despite her efforts to evade pursuit.

"Hand over the Star!" Rock Lee demanded.

"And who are you?"

"We're Konoha ninjas tasked with protecting the Star," Lee replied firmly.

"Is that so…" Natsuhi tucked the Star into her robes and performed a hand seal. "Peacock Secret Technique: Beast Form!"

Behind Natsuhi, chakra flared into the shape of a peacock's tail before condensing into a massive, ferocious tiger. The beast lunged toward TenTen and Lee, its claws swiping with deadly intent.

Lee dodged with ease, countering with a spinning kick. "Leaf Whirlwind!"

TenTen, using Lee's distraction, unleashed a barrage of weapons from her scroll. "Ninja Tool Bombardment!"

Clang! Boom! Despite their attacks, the solid chakra shield around Natsuhi rendered both efforts ineffective.

"Is that all you've got?" Natsuhi sneered, manipulating the chakra beast to strike again.

"Wood Style: Flower Vine Binding Kill!"

From beneath Natsuhi, vines burst forth, entangling her body and wrapping tightly around the chakra beast. The vines absorbed chakra at a rapid pace, leaving both Natsuhi and her creation immobile.

"Wood Release really is perfect for capturing people," Kirito commented as he approached. The vines continued to sap chakra, causing Natsuhi to collapse weakly. Her peacock-tail-like chakra faded, and purple flowers blossomed along the vines.

Lee stepped forward and removed Natsuhi's mask, revealing a beautiful red-haired woman. Both Lee and TenTen looked surprised.

"Is there anything you want to say?" Kirito asked, retrieving the Star from her arms.

Natsuhi hesitated, glaring at Kirito. She hadn't expected to be overwhelmed so easily, especially by a single teenager. Knowing her time was limited, she spoke.

"Don't give the Star back to Akahoshi," she implored. "The Peacock Secret Technique draws from the Star's chakra, but its side effects are fatal. Anyone who practices it will die from the Star's radiation."

Natsuhi then recounted her story. Years ago, she and her husband, Yinghuo, tried to steal the Star to prevent its deadly effects from claiming more lives in Hoshigakure. Though they failed, the third Hoshikage spared them and entrusted them with a secret mission: guard the Star from misuse.

When Akahoshi became acting Hoshikage, he resumed using the Star, reigniting the tragedy they had tried to prevent. Natsuhi had no choice but to intervene and steal it again.

Hearing her story, TenTen and Lee were conflicted. Was Natsuhi telling the truth? They turned to Kirito for a decision.

"Our mission is to protect the Star," Kirito said calmly. "Her story is Hoshigakure's internal matter. She can explain it to them herself."

As Kirito examined the purple flowers blooming on the vines, he realized something was off. "The flowers should be white. Did the chakra mutate after absorbing the Star's chakra?"

Curious, he focused on the meteorite. Ignoring Natsuhi's protests, he infused his chakra into the Star and then withdrew it, allowing the mutated chakra to circulate through his body.

"Stop! You'll die from its radiation!" Natsuhi warned.

But Kirito remained unfazed. "Radiation chakra... This feels like nuclear radiation—mutating and destroying cells. No wonder it's so dangerous for ordinary bodies."

Thanks to his Otsutsuki Constitution, Kirito's body absorbed and analyzed the mutated chakra without harm.

Kirito quickly understood Hoshigakure's secret technique. Ninjas infused their chakra into the meteorite, which mutated the chakra before being reabsorbed. This mutated chakra transformed their bodies, granting them enhanced abilities but also causing irreversible damage over time.

Using his Byakugan, Kirito observed the extent of Natsuhi's injuries. Her body was severely corroded by the mutated chakra, yet her survival spoke to her extraordinary resilience.

Kirito's curiosity turned into experimentation. Channeling the mutated chakra, he unleashed a new technique.

"Nuclear Radiation Release: Mutated Wind!"

He waved his hand, releasing an invisible wave of chakra that swept across the forest. Trees in the path of the wave mutated grotesquely—some grew tumor-like protrusions, others sprouted misshapen flowers, and vines twisted unnaturally. Within seconds, the plants withered and turned to ash.

TenTen and Lee stared at the destruction, their eyes wide in disbelief.

"What… what was that?" TenTen asked, shaken.

Kirito smiled faintly. "A new Kekkei Tota: Nuclear Radiation Release, or simply Nuclear Release."

Unlike his Light Release, which focused on raw destructive power, Nuclear Release emphasized the insidious effects of radiation—mutation, decay, and corrosion.

"This is far more versatile than the Peacock Secret Technique," Kirito thought. "Anything alive is susceptible to forced mutation by this chakra."

Satisfied with his discovery, Kirito turned back to Natsuhi. "Your fight's over. Go back to Hoshigakure and explain yourself."

Still shaken by the power she had just witnessed, Natsuhi could only nod in defeat.
