One piece: Establishing a Pirate Family

Chapter 121: Chapter 121: Rockefeller Kaiser

Chapter 121: Rockefeller Kaiser

Kami Island had grown significantly over the years. From an initial population of a thousand, it now boasted nearly 30,000 permanent residents. Including transient visitors, the island's total population exceeded 50,000.

Charlotte had played a pivotal role in this transformation, leveraging its strategic location to make it a bustling hub.

Reflecting on Kami Island, Charlotte realized it had been over a year since he last visited.

"After the Battle of God Valley, I should go back home," he thought to himself.

---

After hearing from Du Field, the loan shark king, that Pieck was planning to target him, Charlotte immediately called Carter, who was stationed on Beehive Island.

"Be vigilant and don't let anyone suspicious get near our base," Charlotte instructed.

While he wasn't worried about his own safety, he couldn't risk his family being harmed.

---

"Captain! Honeycomb Island is ahead—we're almost there!"

After half a year of sailing, Paul couldn't contain his excitement at the thought of returning.

Charlotte stood at the bow with Elena beside him. The ship sailed swiftly toward the port.

"Make way! Make way! Lord Charlotte is back!"

The port workers recognized the ship flying Charlotte's flag and immediately began clearing the area, causing a brief flurry of chaos.

As the ship docked, the gangplank was lowered. Charlotte helped Elena disembark, followed by Panis, Barrett, Paul, Isaac, and the rest of the crew.

"Captain Charlotte!"

"Captain Charlotte!"

Pirates and bystanders bowed respectfully as Charlotte passed. No one dared meet his gaze directly, as strength was the ultimate currency on Beehive Island.

Charlotte ignored the greetings and made his way toward his base.

"Captain Charlotte! Captain Rocks has requested your presence as soon as you return!"

A minion shouted from several meters away.

Charlotte stopped and turned to look at the messenger.

"Understood. I'll head there after I've settled my affairs."

He continued walking without another word, his crew following closely behind.

Carrying several large treasure chests, the group attracted envious stares from the surrounding pirates.

Charlotte soon arrived at his base, a massive 100-meter-long ship that served as his home.

Seeing the vessel, he nodded in satisfaction.

"Hahahaha! I'm back!"

Charlotte's loud laughter echoed, drawing the attention of everyone onboard.

"Boss?"

"Young Master?"

"Master?"

A crowd of maids, crew members, and Charlotte's five wives emerged to greet him. Each of his wives was striking in her own way, and Martha, the eldest, was heavily pregnant, her due date just days away.

Charlotte embraced each of his wives in turn, his joy evident.

Martha, holding her large belly, smiled warmly at him. "Master, the baby is almost here."

Charlotte turned his attention to his children—his almost three-year-old daughter, Esdeath, and his one-year-old son.

"Esdeath! Did you miss your daddy?"

Charlotte scooped up Esdeath, who had been standing next to Jenny, her mother.

"Daddy!" Esdeath's lively eyes sparkled as she called out to him.

"Hey, you can talk now? When did this happen?" Charlotte asked Jenny, his face lighting up.

"She started speaking about six months ago, Master. We've been teaching her ever since," Jenny replied with a smile.

"You're so smart, Esdeath. Just like your dad!" Charlotte said, his heart swelling with pride.

"Master, don't forget about your eldest son!" Gillian said, holding the one-year-old boy.

"Hahaha! I almost forgot! Let me hold the little rascal!"

Charlotte took the boy from Gillian's arms, only for the child to start crying.

"Alright, alright! Stop crying. How about I give you a name?" Charlotte said, bouncing the boy gently.

"How about Rockefeller Kaiser? Do you like that name?"

The boy's cries stopped immediately, replaced by wide-eyed curiosity.

"Hahaha! That's my boy!" Charlotte laughed.

Turning to Elena, Charlotte introduced her to his wives. "This is Elena, my woman, just like you. I met her on Kami Island, and she's carrying my child. You all must get along well!"

Elena smiled shyly. "Hello, sisters."

Martha, despite her advanced pregnancy, took Elena's hand warmly. "Welcome, sister! We've heard a lot about you. The young master really knows how to pick them!"

Elena blushed at Martha's teasing, while Charlotte merely laughed it off.

"Let's go inside. It's too windy out here," Charlotte said, leading everyone into the cabin.

---

As Charlotte's family settled in, the crew remained outside, carrying the treasure onboard.

"Wow, the boss is living the dream!" Paul exclaimed, watching Charlotte's happy family from afar.

"Yeah, no comparison. Happy Street is more my speed," Carter joked, earning laughter from the others.

---

Meanwhile, at the center of Beehive Island, Rocks sat on his throne, surrounded by disheveled women.

"Charlotte said he'll come to see me after he's settled in?" Rocks asked a trembling messenger.

"Yes, Captain Rocks!" the messenger stammered.

Rocks slammed a bottle against the floor, shattering it.

The messenger flinched and fell to his knees, waiting in terror.

After a long silence, Rocks waved him off.

"Leave."

Alone in the hall, Rocks sat in silence, his expression unreadable.
