One Piece : Prince of Charlotte Family

Chapter 20: Chapter 20 : Return Of Life? Eight Swords Flow

"It's impossible for a guy like you to be unknown in the sea!"

Onigumo's face was dark, extremely grim.

He clearly caught the mocking tone directed at him from the other party.

However, after countless battles against pirates on the front lines, the senior Marine general knew better than to lose his composure.

As Vice Admiral of Navy Headquarters, he had a thorough understanding of the BIG-MOM Pirates.

The pirate group, led by BIG-MOM, was centered around family ties—each pirate under their banner was either a child of the Charlotte family or related by marriage.

The young man standing before him could never be Charlotte Linlin's son-in-law.

Since Navy Headquarters had not released a bounty for him, he was clearly a young member of the Charlotte family who had not yet made an official debut.

The Onigumo's mind raced as he pieced together Wilhelm's identity.

A sense of unease washed over him.

"It is said that in the Charlotte family, there is a son who has perfectly inherited the talent of 'BIG-MOM' Charlotte Linlin, a true natural monster..."

He stared at Wilhelm intently and spoke in a deep voice, "For years, Marine thought it was just a rumor, but it seems it was true all along!"

He observed the young, strikingly handsome, silver-haired boy in front of him—youthful, yet undeniably powerful.

Onigumo's heart sank.

The rumors were clearly no exaggeration.

In the pirate world, claims of inhuman strength, titles of invincibility, and supposed legends were often exaggerated to capture attention. Many pirates used these titles to create fear or gain followers, crafting illusions of superiority to deceive both Marines and the public.

However, over the years, Marine had encountered countless such false claims, making it difficult to discern truth from fiction.

When it came to genuine monsters, legendary pirates, or the world's strongest individuals, there were only a handful.

BIG-MOM herself was undoubtedly a natural monster, impervious to defeat.

Yet, even with her immense power, Marine had dealt with her children.

Katakuri, her second son, often hailed as the "highest masterpiece of the Charlotte family" and "the strongest general of the BIG-MOM Pirates," was impressive—no doubt—but not yet thirty.

His strength, though formidable, paled in comparison to Charlotte Linlin's terrifying power, and even the highest-ranking members of Navy Headquarters had reason to fear her.

For a long time, rumors circulated about the "shuddering nobleman" within the BIG-MOM Pirate group.

Marine paid little attention to such whispers.

But clearly, they had miscalculated.

The BIG-MOM Pirates might indeed possess a natural monster on par with Charlotte Linlin.

At just fifteen or sixteen, he already displayed such horrifying strength.

Once it grows, I'm afraid it will truly become a "monster."

There's no doubt that the BIG-MOM Pirates will pose a significant threat to Navy Headquarters and the World Government in the future.

"Scrub…"

"Cang lang lang…"

A dazzling cold light flashed.

I saw flashes of light and sparks, without warning.

Onigumo, who was confronting Wilhelm and had guessed his identity, made a surprise move.

Although he didn't move at all, his hair grew and surged at an astonishing speed, visible to the naked eye.

As if they had a mind of their own, they formed extremely black "hands."

In the blink of an eye, six blades were pulled from the wide Marine cloak.

Each blade moved independently, slashing toward Wilhelm.

"Is life returned? Interesting..."

Wilhelm, who had been prepared, retreated like lightning.

His Observation Haki, honed over years of training, showed its worth.

He easily avoided the six blades that sealed off every corner and launched quick attacks.

"You, the 'natural monster' of the Charlotte family, are indeed impressive. But in the name of justice, I will keep you here today!"

The murderous intent radiating from Onigumo was palpable as he took the initiative to attack.

Without hesitation, he rushed forward, wielding two knives in both hands.

At the same time, the six manipulated blades, strengthened with Armament Haki, joined in.

With his proud swordsmanship—the Eight Sword Style—he launched a dangerous and unpredictable offensive.

"It's dangerous and weird, hard to guard against."

"Returning life combined with swordsmanship, manipulating hair to perform the Eight Sword Style, Vice Admiral of Navy Headquarters still shows some strength!"

Wilhelm raised an eyebrow.

A little surprised, but not at all panicked.

Relying on his Observation Haki's predictions, he calmly dodged and blocked the dazzling and overwhelming offensive from Onigumo.

"You brat, don't underestimate Marine!"

Onigumo shouted angrily.

Gathering strength, the eight blades violently tore through the air and swung out.

"Whoa, whoosh…"

A series of light green slashes sped toward Wilhelm at an astonishing pace.

It was incredibly sharp, piercing through the atmosphere with deadly precision.

"Yes?"

The corners of Wilhelm's mouth curled into a cold smile.

Gripping the Seven Star Sword, he suddenly slashed out.

"Hey——"

A half-moon-shaped slash, more than ten meters wide, appeared out of thin air.

It collided directly with the slashes from Onigumo's eight simultaneous attacks.

"Boom..."

"Woo hoo hoo..."

The wind howled violently.

Wilhelm's silver hair billowed in the gusts.

His Observation Haki worked in tandem with his sharp gaze, locking onto the Onigumo directly in front of him.

"Shave..."

Onigumo stomped the deck with incredible speed.

In the blink of an eye, he vanished from his position and reappeared directly in front of Wilhelm.

"Keng!!"

The clash of steel rang out violently.

A green-glowing blade wrapped in Armament Haki pushed aside the eight pitch-black blades that surged toward Wilhelm with deadly precision.

"Hey!"

The dark green blade stabbed out like lightning at an unpredictable angle, aiming for Wilhelm's vital spots.

The Onigumo's hairs stood on end as he hastily shifted to defense.

"Clang!", "Clang!"...

Sparks flew as the weapons collided.

The sound of metal striking metal was deafening.

Their figures moved together like lightning, locked in a fierce battle that was nearly impossible to track.

While Onigumo's Eight Sword Style was undeniably impressive, Wilhelm continued to parry with the Seven Star Sword.

His overwhelming strength and ghostly speed gave him the edge.

Even without fully unleashing his power, Wilhelm steadily outmatched the elite Vice Admiral from Navy Headquarters.

Onigumo's body bore several shallow but dangerous cuts.

Although they weren't fatal, the hidden intent behind each strike was ominous, sending a chill down the Onigumo's spine.

Each time, Wilhelm's blade danced dangerously close to critical areas—his eyes, his throat, his heart—always threatening death with every strike.

The pressure on Onigumo increased with each passing second.
