Chapter 6: chapter 6

"Sky….ler.." I think I just heard something, "Skyler. Wake up."

Oh I did hear that. When I opened my eyes, I was outside of the dungeon. Leona was by my side, holding my hands. Others looked worried as well.

"Finally you're awake." Leona's eyes filled with tears and relief, "We were worried when you suddenly thrown unconsciously out of the dungeon."

Suddenly I remembered. I was inside the dungeon, dying over an over without a gap of single second. I stood and look for the gates.

"It's not here." I was confused, "Where's the dungeon. Did it explode?"

"Apparently, as soon as you were thrown out of the dungeon, it vanished. As if there was nothing to begin with. We don't know what really happened. But whatever happened, happened for good things. By the way how did you manage to defeat her?"

"I didn't." I was scared even back then, "I couldn't even stand a single second before her."

That's right. I even forgot counting how many time I died back in the dungeon. If it wasn't for my passive skill 'Death Resurrection' who knows what would happen. By the way how many times did I die again?

[Notice: Zeon, Skyler dying count inside the dungeon 5574 times]

Holy shit!!! That many? Thanks to pain nullification I didn't even realized I died. By the way I think the demon was trying to say something.

[Affirmative. Translating 'Primitive Demon' language into human language. Attempt: Success]

[Notice: 'You're not the one I'm looking for. Farewell']

So the primitive demon of apocalypse was finding someone? That's concerning.

"Hay Skyler?" Leona said, "Did you lost into thinking about that girl?"

"Yes. Something about her wasn't right. I can' explain why but as if she was finding something. And what we witness was simply a small essence. The original one maybe far greater than her."

I don't blame Leona to look so surprised and scared. After all, I myself was afraid after a so long time in my life. That demon, I needed to find about more about her.

'But for now let's just take a look how the others are doing.' I thought and looked at them.

Risa was unconscious. Her wounds were completely healed. That Max guy was still asleep taking a chop from me. The rest of the team was worried sick. As if they witnessed a ghost. Well she was far beyond ghost anyway.

"Now then, I think the business here is done." I prepared, " And I don't think there's anything left to do about. I'm heading back now. See you next time."

Saying good bye on their worried faces was kind of rude for me. But I did what seemed right. Top of that it was not that late. I could still join my sister on her shopping.

**************

"Sir, may I come in." A beautiful lady, wearing maid outfit in black and white, opened the door of an office, at the Aether City named as A-1.

"Yes. Come in." the person with white & purple mixed coloured hair gave her the permission, "Is the coffee hot or cold."

"That may depend upon your taste, sir." The maid put the cup of coffee on his desk. She stood next to him, holding the tray.

Drake Slynger, a man with high reputation, belonged to one of the five noble families that served the ruler lineage. He was around age twenty five or so, with impressively handsome looks and high intelligence; Thus often helped his father out to handle the government of the Terra Region.

The person standing next to him was known as Carla. On a contemporary, she was his personal maid. In actual, she was in charge of a small private investigation team under Drake himself.

"So, may I ask about the flavour of the coffee." He took a small sip and looked at the document he was reading, "If it is as usual as you always bring, then perhaps, you may leave now."

"Well of course it'd be as usual, Sir." She stood closing her eyes, "Unless the flavour came from the Stella Guild."

Hearing the name of a guild all of a sudden, his interest got caught up. Leaving the document on the table, he stood with the cup of coffee; went to the huge glass window to take a nice view while having some nice and gentle sips.

"I do not say it is usual. If anything, it is rather interesting. Shall you care to elaborate the matter on the contrary."

"Yes sir. Right on it. While you were unimaginably busy making your presentation and meeting with the higher ups, I did not get the opportunity to report what I just found out. Two days ago, a person signed up at the Stella Guild as D Rank Zeon."

"D rank Zeon, Not an S rank? And here I anticipated it would be sweet flavour to enjoy. What a disappointment."

"It, indeed would be a disappointment, unless that D rank zeon took down the B rank boss monster just in a minute."

His interest grew up drastically. He was well aware that only the zeon from S rank or greater can handle even an A rank boss on their own. But to think a D rank zeon can pull the same string as an S rank, concerned him.

"Is that so?"

"Yes it is. Apparently the person was registered as a gunman and said to have low MP reserve. On battle he used his previously mana infused bullets on the target. And with the mana he had on the meantime, used in detection to find the weak spots of the enemies."

"A cleaver choice indeed. If you have continuous regeneration of money but have a small bag to carry, just buy expensive things only to sell them later for equivalent effects. While you can use the current money to buy food or shelter for your survival."

He smiled as he had the last sip of the coffee. Returning back at his seat. Taking the documents once again, he said.

"So, who is this mysterious person. Could it be whom I think he is."

"We cannot say yet that the person is whom you are thinking." She disappointing at herself said, "The name in the guild is registered as Skyler Wilson. And he's currently living with a woman, slightly older than him, name Anna Wilson."

"Is he married already?" he looked a bit surprised.

"No. Their relation appears to be sibling. Though we did not investigate their history yet. Shall I order them to get all the info?"

"Let us just stay out of their personal life. If he is the person I think of, Someday he will return to me. I have faith in him." He looked slightly emotional, "By the way, how many people know about these stuff."

"None. Even the Landvill family which is associated with the Terra Guild Association does not know anything about it."

"Seems like my plan to infiltrate our people into the guilds finally paid of. It is effortless to manipulate the data whichever we like. Is not it, Carla? And another thing, keeps these matters from Stan until we confirm what really happened that day."

"Yes indeed, Sir." She opened her eyes, "By the way, it is not my place to ask, but do you mind telling me what are you working on recently?"

"Not at all Carla." He smiled softly, "You do know about the class division among the zeons based on how they use their MP."

"Yes sir I do."

Drake started explaining about what he was researching.

Based on MP uses, a zeon decides their class. At the top, it was Elementals. They can convert their MP into elements and release them accordingly. Only four type of Elementals have been identified until the recent time; Fire, Water, Wind and Thunder.

The next one is Slicer. They basically had knowledge of swordsmanship or how to use different blades depending upon the situation or based on range-specific attacks. They are considered powerful just because they, getting support from the Enhancer, the next class, can be a tough opponent to be handled.

There was another thing about a slicer. Though it was recorded only a few times, but some zeon in the past were upgraded from Slicer class to Elemental class with their previously acquired knowledge and strength. Leading them to become famous as 'Elemental Slicer'.

Next class is Enhancer. They use their MP to boost target-specific, whether it's themselves or other, mana distribution; causing the person to see far, hear far, high agility, immense strength and so. Even the healer belong to this category as the can enhance cell regeneration speed.

Lastly Gunman. The people with less MP yet still want to be Zeon for making good amount of money they choose to become one. But most of them are assigned as guards of dungeon gates or backup in a raid.

"These are just ordinary classes. There is another class known as Legendary Class." Drake was serious. Even Carla became stunned. She never heard that there could be another class beside that.

"The name of the Legendary Class is, 'SYSTEMA'."

[Notice: Side Quest unlocked. Name: Villa of the Werewolf. Location: District T85, Ward 4]

[Notice: Time count down 0d:05h:59m]

[Warning: Failing in completion will result (-100) EP from Zeon's status]

Are you kidding me? Defeating B rank boss only gave me 41 EP and if I fail to complete this quest under six hrs I will get penalty of -100 EP. It's so much unfair.

I nearly screamed at my screen annoyingly. The given location was also very far from our building.

In Terra, there were total hundred district, from T1 to T100; each containing ten wards in total. Our building was located in T23 ward 9. And the given location was really far. I didn't even know I could make it in time or not.

"Sigh!! Why my new quests starting to pop up in so much distance." I said while I checked the guns, sitting on the sofa.

"Skyler, did you say something?" Anna who was cooking in the kitchen next to me said, "Is there a problem with your equipment or what."

"Nah! It's all good. I just happen to get another mission under six hours that's all."

"Wait. Aren't you gonna have dinner then? I made your favourite." She looked a bit of disappointed.

"Sorry sis it's urgent." I said, "Put it in the freeze after your dinner. I'll eat when I'll be back."

"As you say, little bro." she gave sad smug face.

"Oh com'on, jeez!! Stop being such a spoiled child, sis." I screamed at her, "You do know how important it is."

"I know. I know. I wasn't upset for that." She gently flipped the egg and said, "I just really miss my carefree little brother. As if becoming a Zeon, you got so busy I forgot how my bro looked while slacking off."

Her impression remained the same.

***************

Thankfully, I reached the given location under four hours. I had to give the taxi driver some extra money to drive fast.

Now that I was in the location, I needed to find the entrance gate of the side quest. Apparently it was not my first time attempting a side quest.

In these three years, I had attended many of these side quests. But clearing the quest didn't gave me any EP. Instead it gave me some drop loots which I sold and bought materials for my equipment.

My system happened to have an additional feature called 'Auto-Regeneration'. If my inventory had enough materials it could easily forge bullets according to my needs. This also included the gravitational power infused bullets.

I stood near a small place between to huge buildings. The place sure reminded me of that day, when I was killed for first time. Also, it reminded the day when I met Anna.

"That's a talk for another day. Let's just enter the gate."

[Notice: Zeon has entered the quest 'Villa Of The Werewolf']

Bypassing the gate, I entered nearly an hunted villa. It was wrecked yet unimaginably huge.

[Notice: Countdown started to clear the quest. Remaining time 04H:59M:59S]

[Warning: Zeon must clear the quest within the given time. Or penalty may apply]

'Great! I don't understand why system's giving me a time limit.' I told myself. It never happened before.

But that didn't matter to me because I know how to clear any dungeon in less than an hour. Thus I entered the massive villa in front of me.

The inside was like an ordinary one; a long hall then stairs at the end of the hall. Just a party hall in a fancy movie or so. The upstairs looked creepy by the way.

As I started walking on the red carpet on the floor. From the upstairs, wolves with sharp long fangs and huge in size, jumped on me.

"Too bad for you guys." I said while they were pushed back, "I know an ambush might take place. So I already covered myself with a layer of repulsive barrier."

I was always like that. That barrier of repulsive force was my first line of defence. The stronger an attack came towards me, the stronger it deflected them back.

With multiple shots, the first wave of the wolves got killed.

[Notice: 'Fang of the minion werewolf' received x7]

[Notice: Analyse the material. Yes/No]

"No. Not now. We'll get plenty of time to analyse that later. The second wave is coming."

I was slowly walking the stairs. Smoothly killing one wolf after another. They just kept coming no matter how much I killed them. After a while it really started to get annoying.

[Notice: 'Fang of the minion werewolf' received x3]

[Notice: 'Fang of the minion werewolf' received x2]

[Notice: 'Fang of the minion werewolf' received x5]

[Notice: Total received x79]

Wah!! That many already? It's only been fifteen minutes or so. Not to mention I wasted a huge amount of my valuable ammos. It's time for something interesting.

Putting my guns back in the inventory, I spread my hands only to detect similar gravitational forces at work. It helped me even to find the hidden wolves in that villa.

"Got'em" pulling everyone out and sticking to one another I made huge pile of wolves. They were barking like dogs.

I was doing the same technique as I applied on Liam and his friends. But I didn't get to complete as Anna prevented me to. But these are monsters. So it doesn't really count.

Compressing them with high force of gravity, they got crashed to one another; making a small sphere. It turned nearly into solid.

[Notice: 'Fang of the minion werewolf' received x21]

[Notice: Total received x100. Convert the fragments into 'Fang Of the Boss Werewolf. Yes/No]

"Yes please."

I hope that will give me a huge profit when I sell it. I wonder how many Siet will I get just by selling this.

[Attempt: Success]

Now, where's the boss of this quest. Should I detect again for that. I have much time left though.

Suddenly the villa started to shake very badly. The wrecked villa started to fall apart. I ran for outside. And barely made it in time.

Coming outside, I witnessed an unimaginable thing. The huge castle-like villa itself turned into a giant monster. No, it was a werewolf.

It's a problem. My gravity skills are not that much high to take on a wolf that was in size of hundred times bigger than me. But I'm not gonna stand back. Even it matched an S rank boss.

As the C2 Sniper came in my hand, I smiled at it. It might not be that powerful but I had to give it a try.

"Villa of Werewolf? It's like a Werewolf made of villa. I hope I'll get some EP at the least." I smiled, "Let's do it."

Ready with my weapons I looked at the giant werewolf in front of me. Menacing body made of the wreck of the villa, he roared in a fierce voice— almost gave me a panic.

I, however one the other hand, smiled. Aiming a bullet on his eyes, I shot. His head shattered apart. In the next moment, the wrecks reconstructed his head.

"Is that supposed to be a problem for me?" I shot in multiple areas, "Let's see how can you handle these."

Five shots, each one at the joints of arms and legs, excluding the last one which blew up its chest. The ruined villa fell apart like rain drops.

"That was kinda easy!!" Putting the sniper on my shoulder I gave a dashing pose only to look cool— which I was actually.

[Notice: The Werewolf is yet to be defeated]

"What! Didn't it just die yet. What else is there left to defeat?" I reacted at the notification screen.

The place started to shake all of a sudden; causing me to lose my balance. The wrecked ruminants started gathering once again— making the giant and menacing body the werewolf screamed.

Oh com'on! Is it going to reconstruct itself no matter how many times I obliterate him over and over again. Tch! Sure is a hassle to face an enemy like this.

There was not anything to complain over. Neither, my weapons were any use against him. Using my precious bullets only was a waste of effort.

I had another plan in mind— a technique I was waiting for a long time to try out. Thus putting the C2 sniper back at the Inventory I prepared.

As soon as the wolf tried to hit me with his monstrous hand. I jumped. Started running on his giant arm towards his eyes. His another hand was approaching me. I, by the way, barely deflected it with my gravitational repulsion.

His other arm got deflected. I ran straight for his face. Near his shoulder, I jumped.

"Multi-Layer Gravitational Impact."

It was a punch with several barrier of gravitational forces with action-reaction pairs. The physics behind it, was simple.

As I hit the face, I applied the first force for damages. And as 'Every action has an equal and opposite reaction' the applied force got an reaction force from the point of impact.

The reaction force later worked as applied force on my gravity force layers only to get reflected back at him with twice as much powerful. In simple term, it was multiple collision of action-reaction forces between my fist and his face— that literally created a huge amount of impact power in a split second.

Well, of course, to enhance the strength of reaction force, I needed to use my unlimited mana each time. That way, I had the upper hand in the fighting.

That being said, until he reconstructed himself again. His sharp claw went straight through me. Making my body into three pieces he threw me away.

[Notice: Initiating 'Death Resurrection. Attempt: Success]

"WOOH!! I never thought he could actually killed me like that." That was indeed out of my anticipation.

If it weren't for my passive skill I could've died in agony taking an attack like that. But I survived only to stop his claws which was coming again to cut through me.

"My gravity power increased!! Well it's a good news. Now the wolf can't escape my gravitational force field."

The immense pressure dominated him— causing him to stuck with the ground. He sure was massive in size. But then again 'The bigger you are the badly you fall'.

I walked gently over his giant monstrous body to find any weakness. That reconstructing ability of his pissed me off after all.

[Notice: Dual Core signature detected. Location: down the knees in both legs]

"That makes sense. If you wanna get your body repair over and over again, you need to keep your footings on the ground. And no one can even predict that. Top of that he had two cores!"

It was his bad luck that I had a handy system on my side. Not only it helps me read the situation, it also helps me to find weaknesses. Lucky me!

Getting my dual pistols back I aimed at the points indicated by my system. Each bullet busted up his cores. Ultimately, leading him to get finally destroyed.

"You don't need a grave cause you already a fossil." I burst in to laugh, "HAAAA HAAAA. But it's not funny at all."

My laugh disappeared. At a time like this, that was not a suitable joke to laugh off.

"Man!! I can't even make a funny joke."

[Notice: the boss has been defeated]

[Notice: Side Quest has been completed]

[Notice: EP gain +21. Total Ep 61/500]

"That's surprisingly good news. Now I can even get EP on these side quest. Good for me."

[Notice: Drop received 'Fang of the Boss Werewolf' x2]

[Notice: Initiate merging. Yes/No]

"Certainly Yes." I wanted to see what I could get out of them.

[Notice: New Passive skill unlocked. 'Instant Repairmen']

[Notice: Zeon's equipment can be now repaired instantly]

Wow! That was another good news. Up until now if my equipment ever got damaged I had to wait till system fully repaired them— which insignificantly took a large amount of time.

"Thus getting this new passive skill was not that bad."

[Notice: Additional drop received 'Claw Of The Werewolf'.]

[Item Status: Eight-Star. On applying it, Zeons AP will increase by +100 permanently. But it will decrease 1% defence against beast type monsters. Would you like to use it? Yes/No]

"Hmm, No." I commanded, "Right now I don't have any use of it. I mean I'm already maxed out in AP. Maybe gift it someone else."

But I had to be cautious. AP was constant no matter what a zeon's rank is. If I have something that can increase AP it could surely make a huge mess for me.

Top of that, it's an eight-star item which was recognized as Extremely Epic. Jeez! I can't even sell this. Suspicious may arise. For now, I should just keep it in my inventory.

[Notice: Side Quest has been cleared. Teleporting Zeon to his original position. 3..2..1]

And I came back to the place where the gate appeared. I wasn't that much late. If I hurry I could still made home by eleven.

"Let's hope I get a good quest or dungeon which can give me more EP." Looking at the moon I started walking to find any taxi.
