Overcharged

For quite a some times, I was busy clearing dungeons and quests. I had gained much EP. It was still not enough to acquire to the Key of Agni Realm.

Speaking of which what's my current EP again' I asked the system.

Ah man! I'm not even in half way. This sure gonna take me to do a lots of work.

Sigh! But right now, I somehow ended up in an odd situation. Out of nowhere I was on a date with Sandy this evening.

It happened the previous day.

After clearing the C Rank dungeon the other day, we went to the guild to report. That was when it happened.

Leona and the other left. I was about to. But I noticed Sandy looked exhausted as she yearned— which she usually doesn't while being at reception desk.

"Is everything alright, Sandy." I was about to leave but asked, "You look pale."

"Yeah. I guess so." Her impression didn't match, "No need for you to worry about it. Though I appreciate your concerns, Skyler. Thank you for the good work."

"Sure. Don't mention it." I was concerned though. It appeared as if she didn't complete her sleep properly. Her cute face looked way too pale— followed by the dark circles around her eyes.

"Hey, look Sandy. If anything's been bothering you, I'd be happy to help or at least I can hear you out if you wanna share anything."

"Thanks Skyler. I really appreciate it." She suddenly got busy in her computer. Well, seemed like I need to leave the place— and so I intend to.

"Wait Skyler." Sandy called just when I was about to leave, "Actually, I wanna take you on that offer. Are you happened to free tomorrow eve?"

"It's not like I have a pretty busy schedule. But, yeah. I'm free." I happily replied.

"Great! Then meet me tomorrow at six o' clock near T-09, Ward-6, Second street. Okay?"

" 'kay!" I couldn't comprehend what she really meant. Thus I looked like a real dumb. That was until she told me 'it's a date'.

Man! I was so embarrassed and red that I couldn't even look into her eyes properly. She was also a bit red to ask.

As consequences, here we are having a nice and gentle talk on the dinner table— slightly blushing.

"Com'on Skyler. You need not to be so embarrassed. It's just a friendly date." She smiled at me.

I can't even describe how gorgeous she was looking outside of her working dress. Her stunning short blue hair; her make up; long jeans and white short-top— everything created a charming environment around her. Even if we were eating on a roadside restaurant, she was stunning.

Speaking of which, her boobs!. They were incomparable. How could I even describe them. They looked so soft and bouncy— not to mention huge too.

Jeez! I so wanna touch them! Even for once.

"Skyler, You listening?" she snapped before my face. I was nearly drooling.

"Oh.. Umm. Humm. I'm listening." I controlled my daydreaming, "So, why did you look like that, yesterday. I felt like you were stressed out."

"Oh that. Yeah, I was a little stressed out. I didn't get to sleep the other day due to the unfinished work back at the guild. And to be honest, It was so tiring."

"So what really were you doing at the guild. I mean about the work?"

She looked tensed as she explained all the things.

It appeared the Guild Master, Joseph Warner wanted her to re-summarize everything about all the zeons in Stella guild, based on their ranks, class and activities during dungeon raids as per the reports.

It involved the 'Inter-Guild Tournament. The two round fighting tournament took place every year. In preliminary, Best five from each guild fight battles against best five zeons from different guild. Only the guild from three wins would advance forward.

In finals, the three winners from the winning teams, would fight the other three winners from the winning guild. Guild with two wins at finals would win the tournament. That being said, only four guilds always participate in the tournament— that excluded guild 'Vanguard.'

"I get that it about re-summarizing the zeons from our guild. But why now, the tournament won't took place before four months from now one."

"Skyler, not that I'm blaming you, but it's because of you."

"Me? What the hell I did?" I tried to give her an innocent look.

"What the hell you did not?" she teased in an irritated way, "Our previously collected data was accurate and we acted based on that. But in these few weeks, you showed us exceptional performances."

"What can I say. I'm pretty impressive after all." I teased.

"Yes you're impressive. That's why, even though I'm not allowed to say this, we're currently monitoring you, taking A+ Rank Zeon into consideration. And because of it, we had to go through all the trouble in rearranging rank orders and class performance reports once again."

"You sure to share this info with me? I mean you can get into trouble?"

"Nah! Don't worry." She unexpectedly smiled, "I bet you're gonna know this very soon by the Guild Master himself."

"Holy Crap!" Accidently I said it loud, "Am I on his bad pages?"

"I don't think so. But he may examine you by himself very soon. So, be prepared."

I think I screwed up a little. If he found out I disguised myself to be D rank, I may got fired from the guild. Or worse, he may apply penalty on me. Should I get the pseudo AP output items once again for emergency measurement?

Crap!!! Last time it was a hassle to acquire the items. Should I ask my sister to buy that again.

"Say Sandy. If everything goes well with the Guild Master, do you think I may participate into the tournament?" I asked.

Judging by the given circumstances, if I'm stronger as they think I am, then maybe they would select me as a possible candidate for the upcoming tournament. That would be an opportunity for me to show how much I'm capable of.

"That's something even I ….." She couldn't complete her words as a shockwave blown the glasses of cars and windows apart— which appeared to be neaby.

People screaming out, running from the direction where the shockwave came from— some of them were hurt, even bleeding.

"Hay, you oaky there?" I asked Sandy whose ears were all busted. She tried to get her hearings back snapping around her ears.

"Yeah, I'm good. I'm good." She was panicked, "What did just happen right now."

"I'm pretty sure it's an explosion. Was there a dungeon nearby?" The scale of the damages matched similar to a Dungeon Explosion.

"No. there wasn't any report stating a dungeon in this district. Must be something else."

What the hell is going on. The blue prompt screen turned into red as it showed me the last alert message. There had be a dire situation.

"Hay Sandy. I don't know how. But a dungeon may have gone under explosion. I'm sensing multiple bosses rank higher than A. Call for help immediately." I took the matter serious— my guns were in my hand.

"As you say, Skyler." She brought her phone, "But I don't think anybody will be available right now."

"Then make them…." The first monster showed up right behind Sandy all of a sudden.

It was huge— about five times bigger than me. Looked like a zombie gorilla with high murderous intent. Immense shock wave was produced as it pounded its chest and roared like crazy.

It was that moment when the gorilla was about to crash Sandy. I was prepared to shoot. Then…

"Flame Retribution." A fire as hot as sun and as glow as a star ignited the monster to his bones. That left nothing but a pile of ashes.

The pile of ashes was blown away as a lady landed there. Her royally sparkling gears and outfit caught my attention with stunning scarlet hairs— tied yet long down to her knees. She was as tall as me and her beauty.. I don't know how to compare that divinity.

I was lost in thought, even slightly gave attention to the system. She elegantly walked towards me with her dead serious scarlet eyes.

"Hay you." She was about to pass me, "Get your ass out of here. This place is dangerous. Normal citizen like you…."

"Sorry to interrupt you miss. But I'm a Zion. Please do not concern me."

"Zeon you sa…."

She was about to say more but got distracted by a huge wind attack that flew just above our heads and blew another monster up.

"Wind Drill." There landed another person— a man slightly taller than me with white hair and blue eyes and also had high gears like the lady, "Luna, what the hell are you chatting with'em? Gonna get yourself killed lowering your guard like that, eh?"

"I saw that coming as I saw your attack." She stood toe to toe, "And just so you know, I sensed this man as a normal citizen of Terra while he informed me that he's a zeon."

"Is that so?" He looked at me, "Hay, what rank are you?"

Another S class zeon, no wonder why they were such powerful fellow. But it wasn't time for me to wonder about that.

The lady named Luna or whatever appeared to have 'Insights'— an ability that allows users to look into other's status, specially a zeon's. Not to mention there are more of those abilities which is called 'Benedicore'. And one can only attain a Benedicore during their second awakening which was most likely a myth.

It was also known as class upgradetion and permitted only in the Aether cities. That explained why their ranks were S.

"I'm a D rank. In the Stella Guild." I replied, "And you are?"

"Oh, Mr Lee Dungok, Miss Luna Rose. It's so good to see you in this situation." Sandy came, "Do you know what's exactly happening here?"

"Well, well, if it isn't Sandy." Another person with blue hair came near us, "So what brings you here dear sis. Out on a date with your boyfriend."
