Chapter 29: The Midnight Sun Plan

As he walks, Huitzi looks around, appreciating the beauty hidden from everyone's eyes.

During this walk, Huitzi takes the time to think about his future actions from now on.

After a while, he reaches where Kokushibo is training.

"Kokushibo, have you gotten used to the body of a vampire?"

When Kokushibo enters the attack zone, Huitzi makes a slight forward thrust, entering the combat distance. Kokushibo tries to strike, but Huitzi, with precision, hits the weak part of the sword, deflecting it away. He then throws a punch toward Kokushibo.

In response, Kokushibo spins his sword, positioning the real blade toward Huitzi, and activates the first form of the vampiric sword.

Surprised, Huitzi quickly ducks, positioning his arm to deflect the blade's cut. Kokushibo's sword slashes the side of his arm, but Huitzi manages to guide the cut, avoiding vital areas.

Kokushibo tries to retreat and regain the advantage, but Huitzi advances, heating his fist with an intense flame. He launches a powerful flaming punch.

With no time to react, Kokushibo is hit in the collarbone, compromising the mobility of his arms. The impact throws him backward.

As Kokushibo recovers from the blow, Huitzi retreats to regenerate his injured arm.

"So that cut was the technique you mentioned. Very impressive," Huitzi said, distracting Kokushibo.

"I am grateful for Lord's praise, but I still don't compare to you."

"What are you talking about? You didn't even use your transparent world or the hunter's mark."

"This is training for my vampire body. I wouldn't use it..." Kokushibo is interrupted midway by a vein that emerges from the ground and penetrates his leg.

Before his body is entirely frozen, Kokushibo tears off the attacked leg.

After a while, night began to fall over the living, and two vampires headed to a village prison.

After consuming the blood of some criminals, Huitzi and Kokushibo walked to a pre-selected location by Huitzi.

"Master, what is the midnight sun plan?"

"It's very simple. We will invade the blacksmith village and take hostages. We will go directly since we are not affected by wisteria flowers. Then we will interrogate the blacksmiths about the special steel used to make the hunters' swords. Meanwhile, we will use the lives of all the blacksmiths to threaten your brother, forcing Yoruichi to train a young man in the art of sun breathing within a year and deliver him to us.
