Chapter 47: Lost Library of Cagliostro , Dont Blink
In the main library of the Lost Library of Cagliostro, Kang Woo, Makima, and Kobeni were seated amidst countless shelves filled with ancient, glowing tomes. The soft hum of magical energy filled the air, lending an otherworldly stillness to their surroundings.
Kobeni, gently flipping through a book about beginner spellcraft, looked up with a wistful smile. "I really like this environment," she said softly. "It reminds me of what it might feel like to be in college... if I ever had the chance."
Kang Woo leaned back in his chair, smirking warmly. "I'm glad you like it, Kobeni-chan."
Nearby, Makima's sharp yellow-ringed eyes scanned a tome titled Mystical Arts of Portal Creation. She glanced toward Kang Woo and asked casually, "Kang Woo, in that head of yours—or your shop inventory—do you have a sling ring?"
Kang Woo shook his head, his crimson eyes gleaming with amusement. "Nope, not currently. Sorry to disappoint."
Makima sighed, her lips curling into a faint smirk as she returned her gaze to the book. "Wish I could make portals like you do."
Kang Woo chuckled softly, gesturing to her book. "Well, you've got Magic Creation now. Maybe you'll figure it out soon enough."
As Makima delved deeper into her tome, Kang Woo opened the Book of Cagliostro, the same one Doctor Strange had borrowed before. His eyes scanned the intricate runes and notations, his thoughts racing. Looks like there's no direct gateway to the Dark Dimension unless I bring it here myself, he mused, a sly smirk tugging at his lips. Closing the book, he moved his hand in a subtle, deliberate motion.
Suddenly, a glowing hologram appeared in front of Makima. The words "Infinity Sling Ring: Purchased 1x" floated in shimmering golden letters. In an instant, a beautifully crafted sling ring materialized before her. Unlike a normal sling ring, this one bore a unique design. Embedded on each side of the ring were the faintly glowing Reality Stone and Time Stone, their energies pulsating softly.
Makima's sharp gaze fell on the sling ring as a smirk played on her lips. She turned to Kang Woo, her expression amused yet curious. "I thought you didn't have a sling ring, my king," she teased, her voice carrying a playful edge. "Or were you just waiting to surprise me?"
Kang Woo leaned back with a lazy grin, his tone effortlessly smooth. "I said I didn't have a sling ring. I never said I didn't have an Infinity Sling Ring."
Makima shook her head slightly, her smirk widening as she examined the artifact. "There will come a day when I can do what you do," she murmured, her voice tinged with determination.
Kang Woo's grin softened. "That day will come. But remember, this Infinity Sling Ring is just a tool—a focus for your potential. The real power lies in what you'll create with it."
Makima tilted her head, her yellow-ringed eyes meeting his gaze. "Thanks, Kang Woo," she said softly, slipping the sling ring onto her finger.
Kobeni, who had been quietly observing, turned her gaze to Kang Woo, curiosity filling her voice. "Kang Woo, how will Armani—or Strange—deal with the Absolute Point in time? I'm still confused about what it is and why it's such a big, horrifying event."
Kang Woo leaned back slightly, his expression thoughtful. "An Absolute Point is an event in time that must occur—no matter what. It's a fixed moment in the Multiverse Flow, something that cannot be undone without catastrophic consequences. For example, Strange has likely gone back in time about a thousand times using the Time Stone, all to prevent Christine's death. And every time, he's failed. Christine always dies, no matter the scenario. Even if he locked her in the safest bunker imaginable, she'd fall sick or something else would happen."
Kobeni's eyes widened, her nervousness evident. "Right now he's... trying to break it?"
Kang Woo nodded. " Strange is seeking more power, absorbing beings from other realms, all in an attempt to break this Absolute Point in time."
Makima folded her arms, her tone turning dry as she remarked, "We should've let him die the next time he failed."
Kang Woo chuckled lightly. "If you did that, Makima, your mission would fail. Remember, the Watcher wants you to convince him to abandon this goal—not to let him die."
Makima sighed dramatically, her smirk returning. "It's going to be hard. That man will probably accidentally blow up the world first before breaking an Absolute Point in time," she said, her voice laced with mock exasperation.
Kang Woo shook his head, a sly grin forming. "You both still seem confused about what the multiverse really is. I guess it's about time I explain it."
Makima folded her arms, raising an eyebrow. "About time? I've been dragged into this mess without any proper briefing. It's nice to finally get the background of the problem instead of being outright kidnapped."
Kang Woo smirked, his crimson eyes gleaming mischievously. "The Control Devil changes her tune just like that. From clinging to me, now it's suddenly 'I've been kidnapped,' huh?"
Makima narrowed her yellow-ringed eyes at him, her tone mockingly sweet. "It's your fault for corrupting me, Kang Woo, my narcissistic Demon King."
Kang Woo laughed, shaking his head as he reached out and took both Makima's and Kobeni's hands in his. Kobeni, visibly flustered, stammered, "Uhh, should I really join? I think Makima is more suited for this role..."
Makima leaned over and kissed Kobeni gently on the forehead, her tone soft yet decisive. "You are more than worthy to become the second wife of the King himself."
Kang Woo pressed both Makima's and Kobeni's arms gently, but what followed was anything but ordinary. Their astral forms were flung from their bodies, floating momentarily in a shimmering higher plane of existence. The experience was brief yet profound before they snapped back into their physical forms.
Kobeni gasped, clutching her chest as if she'd just surfaced from deep water. "K-Kang Woo, that was terrifying!" she stammered, trembling.
Makima, however, wiped away a single tear trailing down her cheek. Her yellow-ringed eyes glimmered with awe as she whispered, "Is that... what I think it is? Unlimited possibilities... The multiverse truly means there are limitless worlds out there—so many things to discover."
Her voice softened, revealing a rare vulnerability. "That eternal adventure I mentioned before... It's real. It's going to happen."
Kang Woo's crimson eyes sparkled with amusement as he spoke. "That was just a taste . Now partial power from the Space Between Time mixed with the King of Chaos." With a motion of his hand, he encased the group within a translucent, shimmering sphere. The air crackled with energy as he warned, "Please don't blink."
The sphere flung them into another realm—the quantum dimension. Colors danced in chaotic harmony, twisting and bending reality itself. Time and space seemed fluid, stretching moments into eternity and compressing hours into mere seconds. Within moments, they found themselves in the heart of the multiverse's endless possibilities, the fabric of reality itself rippling around them.
Kang Woo's voice cut through the awe-inspiring silence. "Most people think they know how the world works. They believe this material universe is all there is. But what is real? What mysteries lie beyond your senses? At the root of existence, mind and matter meet. Thoughts shape reality. You're universe is just one of an infinite number—worlds without end."
Makima's soft laughter grew louder, spilling into uncontrollable joy. "AHAHAHAHA! For centuries, I searched for something as simple as hugs and love. And you gave me that, Kang Woo. You hugged me, loved me, and made me whole. For that, I am grateful beyond words."
Her laughter settled into a warm smile as she gazed at him. "I used to think we'd grow bored one day. That once you regained your power and became the rightful ruler of our world—which I'll make sure you do—there'd be no more challenges. No enemies. No purpose."
Makima's gaze softened. "When I spoke of eternal adventure, it was just to soothe my fears about those quiet times. But now... Now I see eternal adventure isn't just wishful thinking. It's real. And you've made it possible."
She stepped closer, her voice resolute. "The bonus of my journey? It's far more valuable than my original goals of hugs and love. But the fact that you fulfilled those too... makes you the most important part of all of it."
Suddenly, the sphere flung them into yet another realm—the Dark Dimension. Shadows swirled like living entities, their malevolence palpable. Monstrous forms lurked at the edges of their vision, hungering for something unseen.
Kang Woo's voice resonated deeply. "Other realms are filled with malice and hunger. Dark places where powers older than time lie... ravenous... and waiting."
Kobeni's voice wavered as she asked, "Kang Woo, what is our world compared to other universes?"
Kang Woo smirked, his tone blunt yet reassuring. "They'd obliterate your world without hesitation if I weren't there, at least."
Makima's expression darkened in thought. "Our world is truly lost before the fight even begins. The cruel reality of it all... No wonder you said negative energy is low-tier. Most of these universes probably wield magic like it's second nature."
Moments later, the sphere returned them to the familiar stillness of the Lost Library of Cagliostro. The overwhelming sensations of the multiverse faded into a distant hum as Kang Woo dispersed the energy.
"How does it feel," Kang Woo asked, "seeing what the multiverse has to offer with your own eyes?"
Makima's smirk widened, her tone laced with gratitude. "The bonus... It's too much. Far more rewarding than I ever imagined. To think I spent years as a corporate slave, chained to obligations and limits. You freed me from those chains, Kang Woo. And now? Now, I'm paid in eternal adventure—a reward tenfold greater than I ever expected."
Kang Woo smiled subtly, the corners of his mouth curving into an amused expression. His voice carried a calm authority as he said, "Aren't you going to join us in the conversation, Doctor Strange? You can stop hiding in the Mirror Dimension."
A moment later, a sparkling circle of mystic energy appeared, forming a portal. Doctor Strange stepped out, his cloak billowing slightly as he regarded the trio. "Another being from a different universe, walking into this one," Strange said, his tone measured. "And the funny thing is, Kang Woo—you don't even belong to the universe where your wives originate from. Let me guess, the Ancient One sent you to stop me?"
Kang Woo's smirk deepened. "Nope. I have my own agenda for coming to this universe."
Strange raised an eyebrow, crossing his arms. "Wonderful. But let me ask you this: are you predicting that I'll kill everyone if I succeed in saving Christine? It's like you're judging me—condemning my methods as inherently wrong."
Kang Woo's crimson eyes glinted as he responded evenly, " The point is ?"
Strange stepped closer, his tone sharp. "You don't know that. You haven't even tried to understand. I saved this world—this universe—from Dormammu. Mordo warned me there would be consequences after I used the Eye of Agamotto. But it's been years, and I've been just fine. The same applies to breaking the Absolute Point in time. You don't know what will happen because you haven't seen it through."
Makima's yellow-ringed eyes locked onto Strange, her voice cutting through the air like a knife. "Are you truly trying to save Christine? Or are you trying to prove to yourself that you can do the impossible? Those are two very different things, Doctor Strange."
Strange's confident demeanor faltered for a moment, his jaw tightening. "I can do both."
Kobeni hesitated, wanting to offer her own advice, but Kang Woo gently placed a hand on her shoulder, his voice calm yet firm.
"Everyone has their own ideals. I have mine. Do as you wish, Strange. Anyway, if this universe blows up, the three of us will just ditch it." Kang woo tone carried an air of detachment, but there was an underlying sharpness that suggested he wasn't bluffing.
Makima, however, didn't break her gaze from Strange, and he reciprocated, the tension between them thick and unyielding.
Kang Woo glanced at Kobeni. "Kobeni-chan, let's leave them to their staring contest." Kobeni nodded, and as they stepped aside, Kang Woo casually snapped his fingers, pulling up a holographic display of Makima's stats in front of her.

Makima's lips curled into a satisfied smile as she studied the display. In her thoughts, she reflected on her progress: The powers bestowed by Kang Woo, like Blacklight Biomass and Skill Hunter, have proven fruitful. But the Watcher's reward—especially Loved by Mana—has been invaluable.
Her smirk widened. It's enough to beat this doctor and make him my doggy.
Suddenly, a voice echoed in her mind—Kang Woo's telepathy breaking through her thoughts. Yeah, about that. Stephen Strange is way stronger than you are, and he can kick your ass if you pick a fight with him.
Makima's eyes narrowed slightly as she responded through telepathy, her tone annoyed yet curious. Did you just sneak into my head right now, or do you always hear my thoughts whenever I have ideas?
Kang Woo's mental voice was smug. That Commandment of Piety feeds your thoughts and vision directly to me. Have you tried 'incognito mode'? It's nice to have privacy, especially since your thoughts are always such long-winded dialogues.
Makima's annoyance simmered, but her tone softened as she turned toward him. Without warning, she leaned in and bit Kang Woo's neck—not hard, but enough to catch him off guard.
Kang Woo chuckled, ruffling her hair affectionately. "We've got a vampire here, huh? You planning to turn into a bat anytime soon?"
Makima smirked, her earlier irritation fading as she leaned closer. "Only if you're ready to be my property , my Demon King."
With a snap of his fingers, Kang Woo summoned a holographic panel in front of Makima, this time displaying the stats of Doctor Strange.

Makima scanned the stats carefully, her gaze narrowing slightly. Through telepathy, she asked Kang Woo, "Is mana or dimensional connection more significant?"
Kang Woo's mental voice was calm and direct. "Dimensional connection. It's like drawing power from entire realms—essentially other worlds. Far more potent than ordinary mana."
Makima nodded subtly, still gazing at Strange. "Between him and Lucifero, who would win?" she inquired via telepathy.
Kang Woo smirked in her mind. " Strange. He'd trap Lucifero in the Mirror Dimension, and Lucifero would be completely Fucked and thats not count time stone he has ."
Doctor Strange, though unaware of the specifics of their telepathic exchange, sensed Makima's scrutinizing gaze. "Have you finished gauging what magic I can do?" he asked, his tone carrying a mix of confidence and irritation.
Makima's smirk widened, and she replied mockingly, "Still lower than my husband."
Kang Woo shrugged casually, a teasing grin on his face. "I'll leave you two to your ideological clash. Let's go, Kobeni-chan."
Kobeni, standing nearby, gave a nervous but obedient nod. "Yes, Kang Woo."
As Kang Woo turned to leave, Makima's voice stopped him. "Kang Woo," she began, her tone curious yet tinged with playful teasing, "if somehow Doctor Strange reached his strongest form—what you call Strange Supreme—could you win with your current strength?"
Kang Woo paused, his grin never faltering. "Strange Supreme? He killed everyone in his universe because his power was ripping it apart. That kind of destruction would be... problematic."
Makima smirked, a teasing glint in her eyes. "would you lose, my Demon King?"
Kang Woo scoffed lightly, his voice filled with confidence as he responded. "Nah. I'd win."
With that, he walked away, Kobeni following close behind. Makima chuckled to herself, her laughter soft yet filled with amusement. "Uhuhuhu... What a narcissistic Demon King he is. And yet, there's no one who could ever replace him."
Doctor Strange's gaze flicked between Makima and the retreating Kang Woo, his irritation evident. "You two talk like I'm planning to destroy the universe just because I want to save Christine,"
