Being a Water-type Pokémon, Marshtomp was naturally drawn to the 'supreme' Blue Water Stone, which brimmed with pure and immense Water-type energy.

Its longing for the stone was written all over its face as it gazed expectantly at Sato.

"Don't worry. Since you found it, it's naturally yours. However, it's still a raw material. I'll have someone craft it into a Mystic Water before giving it to you. You probably don't know what a Mystic Water is—it's an even more precious item that can enhance the power of Water-type moves."

Seeing Marshtomp's eager expression, Sato patiently explained.

But Marshtomp clearly wasn't listening to Sato's words. It continued to stare at him with puppy-dog eyes and even reached out a hand, gesturing for him to hand over the supreme Blue Water Stone.

In the end, Sato couldn't resist Marshtomp's stubborn persistence and reluctantly gave it the stone. Marshtomp wasted no time—it immediately swallowed the supreme Blue Water Stone whole.

As soon as Marshtomp swallowed the stone, its skin emitted a faint blue glow, as if a light blue membrane had formed on its surface. Its entire body was bathed in the soft glow, making it look incredibly cool for a moment.

However, the glowing effect quickly faded. After a moment of deep concentration, Marshtomp seemed to figure out how to deactivate the flashy state. When it opened its eyes, the glowing membrane dimmed.

Despite the glow fading, the "membrane" on Marshtomp's skin remained. Its skin now appeared smoother, shinier, and healthier than ever before.

Clearly, the 'supreme' Blue Water Stone had effects beyond Sato's knowledge, granting Marshtomp significant benefits.

Curious about Marshtomp's current condition, Sato decided to use the newly enhanced detection function of his system. The results left him stunned.

----------------------

"This is the system's upgraded detection ability? Amazing! It even breaks down Pokémon stats and item effects so thoroughly. And to think this is actually a Mutated Supreme Blue Water Stone—I've struck gold!"

Staring at the flood of data on Marshtomp, Sato took a deep breath, suppressing his excitement and shock. He marveled at the system's full detection upgrade, which would let him identify overlooked gems among his Pokémon.

Previously, Sato had been worried about completing the system's mainline quest.

But now, with the detection upgrade's benefits, he was confident he could cultivate a team of powerful Pokémon within the next ten years.

The sight of Marshtomp's updated data left him with an urge to scan all his Pokémon one by one. However, he decided to hold off until he completed the rest of Elsa's mission.

After about thirty minutes, Sato returned to Elsa. The once-resilient and strong-willed woman had regained her composure, once again wearing her signature cold demeanor.

"Although I saved her, I'm still just a stranger she's known for a few hours. I wanted to ask about her gemstone starfish hair clip, but now isn't the time. I'll approach her again in the future," Sato mused, noticing a lingering sadness in her eyes despite her cold front.

Without hesitation, Sato handed her a spatial bag he had taken from one of the wetsuit-clad men earlier. "These things aren't mine to take. They belong to you."

Inside the spatial bag were nine Water Stones. Elsa's expression turned to one of disdain as she immediately pushed it back to Sato. "I don't want these. You keep them," she said, her tone softening slightly.

"Miss Elsa, this is your share: eight high-quality Water Stones and one supreme Water Stone. Please don't refuse. I heard you want to restore the Sootopolis Gym, and you'll need these."

Sato firmly pushed the bag back to her, his expression serious.

"Thank you."

Hearing this, a faint light returned to Elsa's previously dim eyes. She took a deep breath, bowed deeply, and thanked Sato. The cold mask on her face softened, showing traces of genuine emotion.

"Well then, let's go, Miss Elsa. AJ and the others must be worried sick after not seeing you for so long. Oh, by the way, let me introduce myself. I'm Sato, the future strongest Trainer!"

Seeing it having the intended effect, with Elsa perking up slightly, Sato grinned and extended a hand toward her, his confident, cheeky declaration earning a surprised look from her.
