Reborn with Infinity Money System, I was Worshipped by All Universes!

Chapter 29: Chapter29-Heard You’ve Earned a Lot of Advanced Mana Stones Recently?

As Velen distributed the blood-red Dragonslayer Blades to the people gathered around, the atmosphere instantly became lively.

"Velen, what kind of dagger is this? Why is it so sharp? It cuts through the dark dragon's corpse as easily as slicing tofu."

"Could this be the legendary Dragonslayer Blade?"

"No way, who has over a hundred Dragonslayer Blades lying around?"

The people of the Ducal Manor discussed this excitedly.

As the dark dragon's corpse was sliced apart, many began setting up roaring fires to grill the meat. The scene turned into a bustling celebration, with the tantalizing aroma of barbecue gradually filling the air.

Boom!

Suddenly, the bright sky above the Ducal Manor darkened, and a pair of large, calloused hands reached out from the void, tearing it apart as if ripping through paper.

A figure bathed in lightning emerged, resembling a humanoid tyrannosaurus. The man with bronzed skin stepped forward, his every movement causing the air to creak under pressure. His gaze quickly landed on the direction of the Ducal Manor.

"Anthony, I struck it rich in the Singularity Battlefield this time—over a thousand advanced mana stones! Over a thousand! I can't wait to see the look on your face!"

With that, he stomped heavily on the void, launching himself like a bronze comet, closing in on the Ducal Manor in an instant.

As he neared, he noticed that the Starlight Array was operating at full power, and his expression turned serious.

Is there an enemy attack?

His spiritual senses swept over the outskirts of the Ducal Manor but found no sign of intruders.

Only me.

"Looks like I'm overthinking this," the man muttered, shaking his head. He then charged into the Starlight Array.

"I've spent years strengthening my body. Let's see how long I can withstand the array this time."

As Anthony's old friend, he intended to make a grand entrance by testing the array's power.

Step!

The moment he set foot inside the Starlight Array, a sense of impending doom enveloped him. From above, beams of light descended like falling stars, threatening to obliterate everything in their path.

Reacting instinctively, his explosively muscular body tensed, and he retreated from the array in an instant.

The spot where he had just been standing was consumed by a barrage of light swords, leaving a charred, blackened void filled with thick smoke.

"Such terrifying attacks! When did the Starlight Array get upgraded? Its power has increased at least tenfold!"

The man's face was filled with shock.

Had he been a second slower in retreating, even his body, honed to its current strength, would have been gravely injured—or worse, destroyed.

"Aiden, all these years, and you're still as impulsive as ever," Anthony's exasperated voice rang out from within the Ducal Manor. "Didn't you notice the array is fully activated?"

As Anthony quickly approached, Aiden, still shaken, said, "You never mentioned that the array had been upgraded. Its power has increased by at least tenfold!"

Anthony gave him a once-over, ensuring he was unharmed before gesturing for him to enter.

"Let's talk inside the Ducal Manor."

Following Anthony, Aiden asked curiously, "I don't see any signs of an enemy attack. Why is the array fully activated?"

"We recently acquired a large number of advanced mana stones, so we decided to keep the array running at full power to prevent any stealthy intrusions."

"You just experienced its enhanced power—far beyond what it was before. While it does consume more advanced mana stones, we have enough to sustain it for decades."

Anthony spoke with a smug tone, patting his round belly as if exuding the aura of newfound wealth.

Aiden rolled his eyes. "Don't play coy with me. You used to claim you didn't have enough advanced mana stones when I wanted to use the array to temper my body. So how many did you get this time?"

Anthony chuckled. "Not much. Just 10 million advanced mana stones."

Aiden: …

He had planned to show off his haul of over a thousand advanced mana stones from the Singularity Battlefield—a rare stroke of luck.

But compared to 10 million, his accomplishment seemed utterly insignificant.

Knowing Anthony as a pragmatic man, Aiden was certain he wasn't exaggerating. If he said 10 million, it was definitely true.

With his plans to show off thoroughly quashed, Aiden coughed and said, "I just wanted to catch up and have a drink with you."

Anthony didn't overthink it. Aiden was known for his love of body training and drinking, as well as his loyalty.

Suddenly, Aiden sniffed the air and exclaimed, "What's that amazing smell? Did I arrive just in time for a feast at the Ducal Manor?"

Anthony caught the aroma as well and quickly led Aiden toward the source. Following the scent, they arrived at the square in front of the Hatchling Order.

As they approached, Aiden's expression grew increasingly astonished.

"This is terrifying! That scent—it has to be coming from a dragon on the verge of breaking into the Ascended Rank. Otherwise, it wouldn't give me goosebumps like this!"

The closer they got, the more shocked Aiden became. Dragons were fearsome spellbeasts, virtually invincible among their peers.

How could the Ducal Manor harbor such a powerful dragon?

When they finally reached the square, Aiden was utterly stunned by the sight before him.

A massive dark dragon corpse, the size of a small hill, dominated half the square. Even in death, its aura was enough to send chills down his spine.

In front of the dragon, dozens of Ducal Manor members were using daggers to slice its body for barbecue. The scene was lively and festive.

"Anthony, when did your Ducal Manor get so rich? Using a dragon's corpse for barbecue?!"

Aiden's voice was filled with disbelief.

He had initially planned to make Anthony envious, but now he found himself overcome with jealousy.

Anthony, too, was flabbergasted. His mouth hung open as he surveyed the square.

What's going on?

How had a dragon's corpse appeared in the square? And why was it being roasted and eaten by the people of the Ducal Manor?

Then his gaze landed on Velen, who was among the crowd, cheerfully giving instructions.

"Everyone, eat to your heart's content! Don't hold back!"

"Add more seasoning to the barbecue! Use a strong flame—it tastes better that way!"

Velen!

This was definitely Velen's doing!

The dark dragon's corpse contained incredibly potent blood, a rare treasure for berserkers. And Velen was using it for barbecue!

Wasteful! Extravagant!

Anthony's body trembled slightly with emotion.

Meanwhile, Aiden noticed the daggers being used to carve the dragon's body. They were extraordinary—dragons' scales, even in death, were nearly impenetrable.

Yet, these daggers sliced through the dragon's flesh as easily as cutting tofu.

What's going on?

Had Ducal Manor undergone some unimaginable transformation in the few years he hadn't visited?

Anthony sent a message to Senator William, his tone incredulous:

"William, Velen has just organized a barbecue, roasting an entire dragon for the people of the Ducal Manor. At this rate, if you don't hurry, even the bones will be gone!"

??

Aiden, overhearing this, was equally baffled.

"What? Velen organized this? Why don't you stop him? At least half the dragon could be preserved! Why wait for the senators?"

Anthony sighed helplessly. "It's not that I don't want to stop him. Yesterday, Velen gave the Ducal Manor 10 million advanced mana stones and an enhanced version of the Starlight Array. His contributions were so immense that he's now an independent senator, equal in status to the other senators. I have no authority to stop him."

Aiden: …

At the same time, William, having received Anthony's message, was stunned. His eyes widened in disbelief.

"What's wrong?" Jake and the others asked, noticing William's strange expression.

William looked at Jake and said cautiously, "I'm about to share some news, but you need to stay calm."

Jake raised an eyebrow. "Go ahead. I've lived for hundreds of years and seen my fair share of storms. What could possibly shock me?"

The others also looked at William curiously, puzzled by his warning.
