Reincarnated in sekirei

( Yuuki's POV )

With our backs against the factory entrance, we continued to shoot down the incoming enemies, I used my kagune in its second form and maneuvered my bony tails between the crystal pillars, These creatures were not very strong so I was able to pierce their heads without much effort, and my faithful companions covered for all the enemies that I missed, There were also some flying near the roof of the factory and Thanatos took it upon himself to shoot them all down.

We swept away the enemies in a few minutes, and when the enemies stopped coming out, we heard another loud, beastly roar, I turned to the first portal that opened and saw the head of a giant creature peeking out from there.

The thing opened its mouth and charged a powerful energy sphere attack that shot out like a laser, Rhym acted immediately, putting himself between us and the enemy, he turned his arms into a shield and took the enemy attack head-on.

The enemy's laser was able to destroy the crystal pillars but Rhym was able to stop the attack completely although some cracks remained on his arms but since he was able to repair his body immediately that was nothing to worry about.

That was a decent attack and it was obvious that this one was on a different level, too bad that it wasn't a lot smarter, this would be an interesting fight otherwise.

I pointed a finger at the enemy and dozens of magic circles appeared.

Yuuki: [multiply] storm-

I was about to wipe out the last enemy with a big attack, but before I could shoot, Thanatos stepped in front of me to stop me.

He couldn't speak, but I could understand his intentions, or at least I thought so, I asked to confirm.

Yuuki: Do you want to... capture that thing?

Thanatos responded with a nod and placed one of his coffins on the ground, I guess our priority now was to get the entire body out of the portal.

With my kagunes, I grabbed the creature by its neck, and the others pulled my tails, although Pheliss took the opportunity to lift me up at the same time.

We dragged the giant creature along the ground, Rhym was the one doing most of the pulling, and when the giant creature was close it was sucked into Thanatos' coffin, The thing rattled three times before calming down and completing the capture.

After that, the only thing left was to close, the portals that had been opened in the factory, and when I took care of that, I returned home.

The next day, I was in class not paying attention to what my teacher was saying and when I received a message from Rhym, I immediately got up from my seat under the pretense of going to the infirmary, and we talked while I walked through the school hallways.

Rhym: [Master, there is a group of people investigating the factory where we fought the other night.]

Yuuki: Police?

Rhym: [ No, they don't wear uniforms, and they have strange equipment, I think they are investigating the rift in space that opened there. ]

That was serious stuff, so we held an emergency meeting on the roof of the school, before Rhym met with us, I ordered him to investigate the people in the factory, and after half an hour, he reported his findings.

Rhym: It seems that the people who recently moved to this city are the ones who are investigating the abandoned factory.

Pheliss: They came to this city just because of that spatial rift?

Mythra: No, that doesn't add up, our master, being in the city, could barely detect that anomaly, If they had better detection and response time than us, there is another event that they would have attended to before the cracks in the factory.

That's right, the portal that I opened when I came to this world was more "flashy" so to speak.

I'm not surprised that there is a group that investigates supernatural events but the problem was that we didn't know what their objective was.

Were they a group working together or for an enemy world traveler, perhaps they are a secret group formed in this world to fight dangerous creatures from other worlds, impossible to deduce without further investigation.

One thing was certain, they would get to me sooner or later, and I couldn't bring that kind of trouble to the Nagumo family.

Yuuki: I think we'll have to start our journey earlier than expected.

After making my decision, I skipped the rest of classes, then when I was returning home, Hajime asked me if I was okay, but I just brushed off his concern.

Later when night fell I left a note on my desk thanking the Nagumo family for taking care of me, I put a little bag of gems on top of the note and then I jumped out the window, jumping across the roofs I aimed for a mountainous area on the outskirts of the city, far from possible problems.

Upon reaching a secluded area I began to open a portal, and to increase my reach I drew a magic circle on the ground with my blood, Then I took out one of the few Materia that I could fill and passed its energy through the magic circle.

At first, everything was going normally, but suddenly, all the Materia flew from my hands onto the magic circle and were completely drained, and that was not all, after finishing with the Materias my energy began to be absorbed, something was going to come out of the portal and it was something big.

I summoned my fire axe in preparation for what was to come and the others raised their guard as well.

When the magic circle stopped absorbing energy, a small pillar of light was created, I tightened my grip on my gun and prepared to move forward but nearly fell on my face when the light cleared, and there was only a woman with a large pair of assets tilting her head in confusion.

???: hueh?

That wasn't what I was expecting but I recovered quickly, besides the immense energy I could feel inside her, the horns on her head revealed that she was not a normal woman.
