Saruyama Kenichi Takes Control (Rewrite)

*Kenichi's POV*

That was quite unexpected, I just casually went out to eat something quick and ended up meeting characters from another anime, plus in the heat of the moment I ended up getting carried away with those stupid bento fights, the good thing is that at least this served as my first fighting experience, now I know the general fighting level that other people have, it was hard to tell just with the numerical value that the system gave me.

Although I have to admit that it was quite comforting to talk to someone else about my problems, I think this is the first time I tell someone about my parents.

In fact, now that I think about it, after they died, the rest of my life has been a blank...

Although it's just a theory, it's possible that at that time I had already started to be influenced by the world, after all, even though I adored them for some reason, the news of their death didn't hit me as hard as it should have...

Also, another one of my worries turned out to be true, this is not only the world of To Love-Ru, apart from the Bent-To characters I also remember seeing some characters from other anime at school, I'm even sure I saw several of them in my class, as we just entered the school I still don't know all the names of my classmates, but to be sure, I'm going to have to check the whole school.

And not only in the school, I'm also going to have to check if some of the cities from other anime also exist here... I just hope there isn't a Fuyuki city, because if there is, then this world is really screwed up, from what I remember from Type-Moon stories in all of them, whether they were routes or alternate histories, there was always some demented sorcerer or Servant who wanted to destroy the world... I just hope my luck isn't that bad... Well, though if you ask me, being a supporting character in an Ecchi anime is bad enough...

It's times like this that I'd like to be just a mob (Background character), I'd have a boring life but at least I wouldn't get involved in so much shit, and not to mention I have the role of the protagonist's best friend, so it's more than obvious that whether I want to or not, I'm going to get involved in Rito's stupid love problems.

You don't know how envious I am of all those Isekai anime characters, even though they have problems, at least they are sent to worlds where they are free to do whatever they want.

Kenichi: (Now that I think about it... If I stand in the street, it's possible that truck-kun will run over me and send me to another world.)

Putting all that aside, I kept walking, but I couldn't help but remember Yarizui-senpai, I never expected her to be so cute, in the anime I watched she was quite expressionless, but now she showed me several cute expressions, honestly fighting her made this whole fight for the bento worth it.

But even though I liked her as a person and as a woman, it's better that I didn't get too involved in her story, in the end it's just a comedy anime with some fighting, there's nothing special about it.

I said it once and I'll say it again, this system is way too flexible with achievements.

And in the end it turned out to be just as I expected, I got much better rewards for defeating the main characters, and that was despite the fact that I only had a casual fight with them, I bet if I had gotten into some major event in Ben-To's story they would have given me something even more broken than this.

This is another reason why I refused Yarizui-senpai's invitation, I didn't lie to her when I told her that I preferred the meals my mom prepared for me, But the main reason is that a bento doesn't satisfy me, I don't see myself fighting every day like an idiot for a simple bento.

Those cooking techniques from the Shokugeki no Souma anime are amazing, although I still need a lot of practice to cook at the same level as the characters in that anime, my food is already good enough to be in a five star hotel.... When I got home I quickly started cooking, I wanted to put into practice several of the cooking techniques from the Shokugeki no Souma anime, and the result surprised me quite a bit.

Since the ingredients I bought were normal, I couldn't replicate any very fancy food, but thanks to the improvements to my body it was a piece of cake to replicate the different types of cuts and temperature control, if there was anything to complain about, it's that I am now very strong and so some of the ingredients didn't turn out exactly the same as what I saw in the lore, but that didn't stop the taste of the food from being several times better than any other food I've prepared in the past.

Come to think of it, becoming a chef is also a good way to make a living, after all, I've never heard of a culinary academy called Tōtsuki, so I might as well aspire to become the best chef in this world, in fact, for some reason I've been limiting my options to writing novels or drawing manga, but with my ability to see alternate realities, I can have any profession I want and be the best at it.

But for the moment I'm in no hurry, I'm still in my first year of high school, I'm going to try various things, until I find something I really like to do.

This is quite ironic, just because a small group of people were born with powers, they called them mutations, but if all of humanity was born with them, they called them Quirks.... I guess I have to be thankful this world isn't mixed up with Boku no Hero Academia or Marvel and DC, otherwise I'd have to get into all that hero and villain crap).

Don't get me wrong, I like hero stories, but only when they're stories, honestly those worlds are almost as bad as Type-Moon. Anyway, compared to other Quirks, this one is pretty average.

My shoulders feel a little different, and I feel like I can move my arms a lot easier than before.... Even though it's a fairly simple Don compared to others, I remember that the original owner of this Quirk threw punches as fast and destructive as Luffy's gatling gun, even characters with defense-oriented Quirks couldn't resist his blows for long.

Out of curiosity I decided to go down to the training room and test the capabilities of this new Quirk, honestly I didn't expect much, after all, it's just throwing super fast and powerful punches, even in my current state I can do something similar.

Without further delay I began to throw some light blows, at first everything was fine, but after a few seconds and without my control the blows began to increase in speed and force more and more.

I couldn't help but be surprised by this new offensive ability. I threw more than ten blows per second and kept throwing them continuously without slowing down my speed, nor my power even a little bit, for about forty seconds, although I'm still quite far from throwing as many blows as Luffy, I'm completely sure that with this ability alone I could overwhelm almost all the characters in the Baki and Kengan Ashura world...

Kenichi: (Well, now that I remember, in Boku no Hero Academia it was said that the more someone used their quirk, the more they evolved, implying that even the weakest quirk of all could become the strongest as long as its user developed it well).

From what I remember, this fruit is huge, so I can't just bring it inside the house, but taking it outside is not an option either, I am not a protagonist like Rito, when something happened in his house all his neighbors ignored it as if it was something normal, but in my case I am absolutely sure that everyone is going to make a fuss about the shiny fruit found in my garden.

The only way a glutton like Toriko would eat it normally, was because she had the gourmet cells, all the other people could only eat small portions

Still, I'm so envious, in the Toriko anime they eat this kind of food often, I remember in the anime there were even entire islands that were made of things to eat, there was even a ridiculous fruit that produced mayonnaise and not to mention the different kinds of animals and wild beasts that were thousands of times more delicious than the ones in this world, well, I guess that's what you can expect from a world where you can get stronger by eating.

After a last sigh, I kept looking at the next rewards to distract myself.

The good thing is that I have 3, I'm going to try them only when I feel I'm strong enough, if it was as simple as going and coming back there would be no problem, but it says I won't be able to come back until I complete some achievements, the only positive thing is that time is going to stop in this world, that means I'll be able to stay as long as I want in those worlds.

Who knows, maybe I'll find a nice world and stay there, so I won't be involved in the plots of this world.

Kenichi: (It may be far inferior compared to the plot change ticket and the multiversal travel ticket, but it is definitely many times superior to the Hanma bloodline, all the characters in the anime Toriko who had the gourmet cells had practically unlimited fighting potential and became stronger with every meal they ate, that's what makes Toriko's world special, it's full of different types of food).

In Toriko's world, humanity is confined to a very small part of the planet. The rest is called "Gourmet World", and it covers about 70% of the planet. In that world, the power of beasts or ingredients is measured in terms of catch level. This depends on several factors, such as the strength of the beast and the danger of the environment.

It should also be noted that the world of Toriko is several times larger than the earth, only the human world is larger than the earth and that is only 30% of that world.

Normally, in the human world, the catch levels range from 1 to 100, while in the gourmet world, the catch level can reach thousands. This is the real jackpot, I'm not complaining about instinct, but you have to admit that One Piece's Haki techniques are far superior, and to top it off it's the rarest Haki of all, I still remember that epic image of Luffy making an entire army of thousands of marines faint from the pressure of his Haoshoku Haki.

Later in the story it was shown that attacks could also be imbued with this Haki and that made them much more destructive like Luffy's grandfather, Garp, who without the help of any devil fruit destroyed an entire city just with the strength of his Haki.

Maybe someday in the future I should thank Yarizui-senpai, thanks to her I got an ability that will be very useful to me in the future.

I might be too excited, but someone can blame me, I was able to watch several anime that were pretty good, but one of my favorites is definitely One Piece, especially if I got one of the best powers in the series.

But what surprised me the most is that I have a complete mastery on how to use it, unlike Luffy who had to go through several fights to be able to use it in its advanced state, although it's just that, my mastery is still basic, if I want to be as good as Gol D. Roger, Shirohige or Monckey D. Garp, I need to train myself and have real fights.

I wonder how destructive my punches will be if I combine the Hanma blood force, the ultimate power of gourmet cells, Busoshoku Haki and Haoshoku Haki, if I can master them to their full power and combine them all together, I should be able to at least destroy countries with my punches alone, that's actually pretty broken, at this rate I'm becoming more and more like Saitama, I just hope I don't go bald one of these days.

Jokes aside, for the time being this Haki will serve me well enough if I ever fight a large group of people who are weaker than me or have a weak will.

Kenichi: "Still, I have to admit that I'm luckier than most characters with a system, I only had a small chance encounter with characters from an anime and that was enough to get me several high ranking rewards, at the moment I have to find a way to get ingredients from the anime Toriko.... The rainbow fruit was given to me for successfully obtaining a bento, so I guess I have to do achievements that have to do with food."

Unlike the Hanma lineage, the gourmet cells rely heavily on the different types of food their user eats, in fact, in the anime Toriko it was never shown that the main characters did anything special as training, The most they did as training was that they learned the honor of food, but that rather than training it was a way to use all the strength they wasted on useless movements.

Come to think of it, learning the honor of food could be quite useful in the future when I assimilate gourmet cells.

Kenichi: "But well, those worries will be for the future, for now I'm going to sleep, tomorrow is Saturday and I have nothing important to do, so I'm going to dedicate the whole day to training."

So with nothing else to do I went straight to bed to get my body in top shape for the day ahead.
