School Time 2- The Awakening

When they notice a band already singing, some people already watching the performance, the two decide to take a closer look and are surprised by what they see, a pop and hip-hop band, R&B, it's Andrew's second band, but soon Luan frowns, he sees Tommy and San then Mark, Ren, he doesn't understand, he didn't even know they had a band, Derick doesn't seem so surprised (because they're in the same class as him) he asks his cousin incredulously: 

 "Wow, did you know that was Andrew's other band?!" 

 Derick nods, saying yes. 

When the Supervisors come up to them, he adds: 

"I heard that you also have a band, it would be very interesting to put the two bands together for a second performance at the Descendants' Ball!" 

Derick thinks for a few seconds, but finds the idea interesting. He looks at Luan, confused, and asks:" 

 "Why do you look confused, Luan?" 

Luan is trying to understand why he said a second performance, he can't even remember what the first performance was, so he asks: 

 "Second, but what's the First?" 

Derick rolls his eyes, expecting Luan to be confused, he says: 

 "The dance Luan, the traditional dance with a partner, remember?" 

Luan then remembers, yes the Ball, before he can think any further, the Supervisor adds: 

 "Rehearsals start on the 2nd, there will be 20 days of dance training, and to train for the second performance, you can do it right?!"  

Luan is still confused, he's still putting the information together, he's incredulous and before he can answer, Derick replies:  

 "Ok, fine, we'll train in 20 days, for the two performances, just alternate the days Luan, I'll ask Kenji to organize the training."  

The supervisor thanks him and goes to talk to his other employees. While Luan is still thinking, he talks to Derick:  

 "Wait, Derick, we're going to have to train and see Tommy's face for 20 days?! This is more like a punishment, and I haven't even found out what he and Mark were doing the day I was kidnapped!" 

Derick is surprised, Luan hasn't said anything since the day he was kidnapped: 

 "What do you mean the two of them were there, why didn't you tell me anything about the kidnapping?" 

Luan does remember hearing their voices, someone, and his mind confirms it: 

 "They were there, you brat, I saw them, if you want, I'll finish them off in the blink of an eye..."  

Luan sighs, trying to control his inner rage as he knows his host feeds off his anger, he then replies: 

 "I don't remember, about the day, for some reason I blacked out and couldn't use my magic, I only remember waking up in the Hospital, as you already know there's something that's stopped me from even thinking out loud, I'm not the master of my own thoughts..." 

He pauses, because he knows he has to be careful with every word he thinks and speaks, there's a demon in his mind, he tries the blocking charm, it's an amulet he carries around his neck made by his Mother Anne, but it's not enough, it's only temporary, it works better if someone else uses it against the demon, but not for the bearer of the demon, he finally finishes his speech: 

 "Well, changing the subject, we'll have another Disciplinary Committee against them in a few days, so we'll keep an eye on them for those 20 days, that's the best solution for now Derick.... " 

Your host grumbles in his mind: 

 "Don't ignore me brat, I have an easier way to scare them, I'll look forward to putting it into practice."  

Luan claps his hands, effectively ignoring him, and says: 

 "By the way, after the Disciplinary Committee, I think I'm going to leave my position as vice-president of the Student Guild, I feel like I can't handle so many duties at once, I'm starting to forget things..." 

Derick then makes a suggestion: 

 "Just to remind you that there's Mary, so you can explain it to her, but I think she'll understand..." 

Luan thinks for a moment and then retorts: 

 "Oups, Mary won't like it very much, but there's Kenji I think he'll do a better job than me, so I can chase demons instead of students. Ha Ha" 

Derick sighs and finishes: 

 "Good, then I don't have to solve student problems against my will, like someone told me to." 

Luan makes his cunning fox face and laughs; yes, he always put Derick in charge of solving problems, and the next thing Derick knew, he was already in the middle of a school problem. They sit at a table, watching the band sing and perform, they dance too, it's quite a performance, Luan records a video and sends it to the band group, and says: 

 "Hm, guys we have 20 days to rehearse a song with Andrew's other band, we need to start this tomorrow, I accept suggestions!" 

At first Theo and Kenji respond, a little confused, Derick as the band leader offers to explain the situation, they make another group on the messenger that brings everyone together, they add Andrew who already knows, they wait for the band to finish the performance to greet Andrew, and the others, Tommy and Luan exchange unfriendly glances, but they will have to put up with it for a while, they greet the others, it will be a good time for them to put their cards on the table, and if they can understand each other in any way? 

Luan and Derick finish talking to the boys and go home, as tomorrow is the last day of the year.
