Sharingan Evolution: Proficiency's Path

Time flew by, and soon it was dusk. After completing their last round of patrols, Qingming and his team returned to the camp.

Qingming took a moment to feel the changes in his body and could clearly sense that another limit had been broken.

Sitting cross-legged, Qingming activated the Chakra Refining Technique to sense the changes in his body and calculate the effects of the increased Physique attribute.

After about an hour, Qingming opened his eyes, a smile forming on his face.

The boost in his Physique attribute had brought more surprises than he had expected.

First was the increase in his chakra limit.

According to his estimates, this increase in Physique should raise his chakra limit by at least 3,000 points.

To put this in perspective, the last time his Sharingan evolved—when his Physique increased by 1 and his Spirit increased by 2—his chakra limit had only increased by a little over 5,000 points.

Now, with just a single increase in his Physique, his chakra limit was expected to rise by 3,000 points. This was unusually high.

After some quick thought, Qingming realized the reason behind it.

The last time his chakra only increased by 5,000 points was due to the imbalance between his Physique and Spirit.

In simpler terms, his lower Physique had limited his chakra growth.

Now that his Physique had increased by 1, it had removed some of these limitations, allowing his chakra to increase more than expected.

Previously, this wasn't as noticeable because both attributes were relatively low. Even if there had been a difference, it wouldn't have been significant.

However, as his Physique and Spirit attributes continued to grow, the gap between them widened.

As a result, even a small difference in attribute points would lead to a massive change.

From this, he could conclude that in order to maximize chakra growth in the future, he would need to keep his two base attributes as balanced as possible.

After making a mental note of this, Qingming moved on to the second surprise—the increase in his chakra recovery speed.

With the boost in his Physique, he estimated that his daily chakra recovery rate should now increase by about 2,000 points.

In other words, from now on, Qingming would be able to use around 10,000 chakra points per day, instead of 8,000.

He planned to use the extra 2,000 chakra points to practice the Shadow Clone Technique.

Since he had no missions this week, he could keep his chakra levels low the whole time.

That way, while practicing the Shadow Clone Technique, he wouldn't deplete too much chakra, and the extra 2,000 points should allow him to gain around 10 to 20 points of proficiency in the technique.

In about a week, he should be able to bring the technique to the beginner level.

With that plan in mind, Qingming sheathed his short sword and first practiced the Fire Style: Phoenix Flower Technique ten times, using up 850 chakra points and gaining 10 proficiency points.

Then, he did the same with the Demonic Illusion: Shackling Stakes Technique and Genjutsu: Sharingan, increasing each of their proficiencies by 10 points as well.

At this point, he had about 5,200 chakra points left.

Qingming used half of it to cast the Reflection Technique and then began practicing the Shadow Clone Technique with the remaining chakra.

Each time he practiced, he only used about 100 chakra points to gain 1 proficiency point.

After several attempts, his chakra dropped below 2,000 points, making it impossible to continue practicing the Shadow Clone Technique.

So, Qingming activated the Chakra Refining Technique.

Before long, his chakra had recovered to over 2,000 points again.

At that point, Qingming resumed practicing the Shadow Clone Technique.

In this way, he kept his chakra levels hovering around 2,000 points while steadily increasing his proficiency in the Shadow Clone Technique.
