Starsea Fleet: Age of the Lord

As soon as the Mechanical Clan's Second Fleet emerged from interstellar space, they were met with a crushing blow from the Storm Fleet, leaving them stunned. Watching the radar display show over five hundred lost ships, Lore's face turned even darker. Once their radar systems recovered, he immediately issued an attack command:

"Radar, scan the Storm Fleet. Target their ten T5 ships first!"

Simultaneously, Feng Mo gave his second command: "Five T5 Cluster Stellar Cannons, target the enemy's T5 mechanical warships. Fire!"

"Launch the second wave of T5-class missile barrage!"

The Storm Fleet could only reach 20% interception, thanks to the presence of two intercept-class biological starships.

One intercept-class biological ship positioned itself on the left of the T5 Pegasus, while the other shielded both the Storm God and the Paladin, specifically covering attacks targeting these critical ships.

Initially, the Mechanical Fleet's over two thousand warships posed a formidable threat. However, after two rounds of T5 missiles, a barrage of main and secondary cannon fire, and three rounds of bombing from the T5 Mystic Birds, the fleet was reduced to just over a thousand ships, with the impact of their retaliatory strikes significantly diminished.

"Rear Fleet, move in. Use tractor beams to retrieve damaged ships and those that were destroyed. Focus on recovering the wounded," Feng Mo commanded.

"Commander, our fleet's main and secondary weapons have cooled down. The T5 Cluster Cannons will be ready in three minutes," Han Peipei reported.

"Prepare the main and secondary cannons for a full charge. T5 Pegasus, initiate the third wave of coverage. Launch the T5-class missile barrage!"

Feng Mo spared no resources. This time, he had brought ten thousand T5-class missiles on the Pegasus alone, a stockpile worth the same as a Storm God-class warship.

"Commander, T5 Mystic Birds have replenished ammo and are currently stationed at the rear of the Mechanical Clan's Second Fleet. Awaiting orders!" Mello's voice came through the video feed, and Feng Mo promptly issued new instructions:

"Both T5 Mystic Birds are to execute decapitation strikes. The T5 Pegasus will cover with a third T5-class missile barrage to create an opening for you."

Simultaneously, the two T5 Mystic Birds, cloaked at the rear of the enemy fleet, locked onto the enemy flagship. However, it seemed the enemy anticipated an assassination attempt, with four T5 mechanical warships guarding the flagship.

The Mello sisters hadn't encountered this level of protection before, but the solution was straightforward: saturation bombardment.

In an instant, the two T5 Mystic Birds launched a total of 1,400 Antimatter Annihilation Missiles and Proton Torpedoes, filling the targeted space with explosive power capable of leveling any T5 ship. Even a T6 starship would struggle to withstand such a bombardment without compromising its shields.

The Mystic Birds didn't stop there; Mello deployed the remaining 200 Neutron Missiles, indifferent to the expenditure.

The Mechanical Clan, one of the galaxy's ten great species, possesses advanced technology surpassing that of the Starsea Federation. For example, they can install T6-class shields on T5 mechanical warships.

Lore, ever cautious, had upgraded his flagship's shields to T6-class before embarking on this mission to the Chaos Starsea. When the T5 Mystic Birds' bombardment targeted the flagship, their radar picked up the incoming missiles, initiating interception protocols. Although many missiles were intercepted, the flagship's T6-class shields took the brunt of the attack, supplemented by the defense of four nearby T5 mechanical ships.

As a result, the flagship's shields shattered, and its hull sustained minor damage, while the four guarding T5 mechanical warships were obliterated. The explosive shockwave also shattered numerous surrounding T4 mechanical ships.

Observing this from his radar feed, Feng Mo quickly realized the problem with the flagship's unusually dark blue shield color, as typical T5 shields are light blue. His suspicion was confirmed by Xing Shuwen, who remarked:

"That's a T6-class shield. For the Mechanical Clan, retrofitting a flagship like this is relatively simple. Never underestimate the technological reach of any major interstellar race."

Once again, Feng Mo had learned a valuable lesson. With the decapitation attempt thwarted, his only remaining option was a frontal assault. Fortunately, he had prepared ten thousand T5-class missiles in advance.

"T5 Pegasus, initiate the fourth and fifth missile barrages!"
