Starsea Fleet: Age of the Lord

Chapter 210: Chapter 210: The Entry of the Pan-Human Alliance

"Xiao Mo, on behalf of the Yunshan Empire and the Starsea Human Federation, I thank you," said Gu Jun, his words loaded with meaning. By putting the Yunshan Empire first, he showed his strong ties to it as the supreme commander of the Yunshan Fleet, indicating that his allegiance to the Federation was secondary. Feng Mo understood that sharing the technology with Gu Jun would mean it would reach the Yunshan Empire as well. This was part of his intent—to balance a longstanding favor with a significant gift, reflecting that favors are often the hardest to repay.

Sharing the technology with the Federation also allowed Feng Mo to acknowledge his roots, making this a symbolic farewell to the Federation and Yunshan Empire. Observing the political turbulence in the Federation, Feng Mo was keenly aware that a fracture into competing factions was inevitable, with each faction seeking supremacy.

The video of Feng Mo's starship advancements not only stirred the Federation but also provoked the Interstellar Machine Race, inciting them to launch more brutal attacks on the southern front. The major empires, however, retaliated, with both sides sustaining heavy losses.

The next afternoon, Feng Mo was still resting in his quarters. Last night had been... intense, with Chu Yunjian and Ai Er giving it their all, nearly overwhelming even a third-stage gene warrior like him. After a leisurely start to his day, with the three women assisting him to dress, he exited his room to find Han Peipei waiting by the office door.

"Lord Commander, the Pan-Human Alliance announced this morning at 8 a.m. that they have established a mutual defense pact with the Interstellar Machine Race and are now launching a full-scale invasion against the Federation. Currently, they're clashing with the Central Battlefront along the border star systems, with both sides sustaining losses."

Feng Mo raised an eyebrow, surprised at this turn. Although he wasn't shocked by the formation of the Pan-Human Alliance, he had never anticipated that they would ally with the Machine Race and turn against the Federation. He could see the wrongness of the situation—not in principle, but in action.

It wasn't that he didn't care; he simply had a code. If the Pan-Human Alliance could rise independently to dominate the Federation, that would be one thing. But joining an alien race to wage war against the Federation was another matter entirely, crossing a line Feng Mo couldn't endorse.

Just then, his communication device chimed with a call from Gu Jun, hinting at the gravity of the situation. Upon accepting the call, Gu Jun got straight to the point:

"Xiao Mo, things are deteriorating in the Eastern Warfront. The Federation requests the Storm Fleet's assistance. All expenses, munitions, and supplies will be fully covered by the Federation. For every T5 fleet you destroy, you'll also receive a personal reward—you may select an item from the Federation's treasure vault."

As Gu Jun finished speaking, the system prompt appeared in Feng Mo's vision, updating him with a new temporary task:

[Temporary Task: Annihilate three T5 fleets from the Pan-Human Alliance. Reward: T5-class Shanhai Battle Planet blueprint.]

Seeing the system's update, Feng Mo held his composure in the conversation, though his heart quickened at the prospect. A T5-class Battle Planet! This massive weapon could transform an entire planet into a destructive fortress, armed with the most potent Black Hole-class Star Annihilator Cannons.

"Uncle Gu, tell the Federation I'll engage in three strikes. Provide the coordinates of their toughest T5 fleets."

Relief crossed Gu Jun's face. A prolonged conflict risked not only draining the Federation but also decimating the fleets of the empires allied with it. Seeing the Storm Fleet's display of the warp ship technology, the Federation had agreed to Feng Mo's terms, granting him full access to the Federation's treasury.

Strictly speaking, the Storm Empire was Feng Mo's independent domain, free from the Federation's influence. Its leaders were those who, like Feng Mo, had risen from humble beginnings, each sharing a unified vision of exploring beyond the Federation, into the universe's higher civilizations.

In a darkened office, an elderly man with silver hair sat regally, though he wore no clothes from the waist down. Beneath the desk, four feline-like women diligently tended to him. Opposite him sat a middle-aged man, his face alternating between envy and a studied focus.

"Chairman, Gu Jun has successfully persuaded Feng Mo to intervene three times. With the T5 warp ship and the Storm Fleet's strength, destroying three enemy T5 fleets is well within reach. This should stabilize the Eastern Warfront."

The silver-haired elder grunted, then sighed deeply. "For a thousand years, the Federation's seventeen empires maintained a fragile balance. Now it's unraveling, and soon, the entire Federation will collapse."

Turning to the middle-aged man, the elder continued, "Sui Qing, instruct the Sui Family's engineers to study Feng Mo's warp technology in depth. The first ships built should arm the Sui Family fleet, then equip the Federation's two T5 fleets."
