Super Five:The God of Destruction

Chapter 8: 08.Unveiling the Saiyan: A Surprise Encounter"

"Oh!! Lord Carlo, we seem to have been discovered!"

"It's a little strange," Weiss said in surprise. "How can a human feel our aura?"

He could sense a human's energy

approaching them—and it was coming straight for them. The presence of this person felt purposeful. It was as if they had been noticed.

How was this possible? Both Carlo and Weiss were gods. Only other gods could

sense Lord Carlo's presence, and even then, not everyone could detect Weiss' aura. Yet now, a human seemed to have locked onto them, even though neither of them had released their auras.

"It's really surprising," Carlo said with a smirk. "Maybe this is the charm of Earth's warriors. There seems to be a lot of incredible things that can happen to them."

Weiss still couldn't understand how a human could sense them, especially since humans—no matter how strong—shouldn't be able to detect a god's presence. However, Carlo felt this was likely the case with Trunks.

"Could it be him?" Carlo muttered. "On Earth, there's only one warrior with a powerful aura left... Trunks."

Despite the strange occurrence, Carlo wasn't overly concerned. The Earth of this timeline was different, and it seemed there were some anomalies. Trunks' ability to sense their presence was certainly unexpected, but it was not entirely unfathomable.

Moments later, a breaking sound echoed, and a streak of light appeared.

Trunks landed before Carlo and Weiss with a look of surprise on his face. He had never seen these two before, and their attire was strange. The taller man beside Carlo was holding a staff, and his outfit reminded Trunks of the Realm King God.

Trunks narrowed his eyes. He couldn't sense any energy from them, but the oppressive pressure was overwhelming. Could they be gods too? he wondered, instinctively identifying the feeling.

In his experience, humans couldn't feel the presence of gods unless the gods allowed it.

Trunks knew this because of his encounters with the Realm King God. And there was no energy released from these two individuals, which meant they were gods, without a doubt. But who were they? And why had they appeared now?

"Huh?"

Weiss tilted his head, noting Trunks' surprise. "It seems this little guy knows something about gods," he mused. "He must have met gods before, or perhaps he's just unusually perceptive."

Trunks continued to stare, his eyes flicking from Weiss to Carlo. He couldn't shake the uneasy feeling that washed over him. When his gaze fell on Carlo's waist, his shock only deepened.

There, hanging at Carlo's side, was a tail—a Saiyan tail.

"Race... Saiyan!!" Trunks stammered, his face filled with disbelief.

The recognition hit him like a bolt of lightning. That tail was the most distinct trait of a Saiyan! Although Trunks himself was a half-Saiyan without a tail, he knew that only full-blooded Saiyans had them. And seeing the same tail now, along with the same hairstyle, Trunks knew that the man before him was a pure-blooded Saiyan, just like his father and Uncle Goku.

"Oops!! Lord Carlo, this little guy seems to have figured it out," Weiss said nervously.

"Do you think he knows who you are?" Weiss asked curiously, watching Trunks closely.

Carlo smiled knowingly. "It's normal," he said, unfazed. "He's a Saiyan, though only half. He recognizes the tail as a distinct feature of our kind. I don't find it strange that he's figured me out."

"Yes, that's right," Weiss muttered. "But this human is clearly more perceptive than most. I wouldn't have expected this."

Trunks looked between the two of them, his mind racing. Could this man truly be a Saiyan? And if he was, what kind of Saiyan was he?

"Are you... are you really a Saiyan?" Trunks asked, his voice filled with a mix of disbelief and unease. He wasn't sure whether he wanted the answer to be yes or no. But deep down, he was already certain, needing only to hear Carlo confirm it.

The weight of his words sank in. The Saiyans were a violent and warlike race, one that had destroyed countless worlds in their quest for conquest. He knew all too well the destruction they had caused. His father, Vegeta, and Uncle Goku had been the exceptions—fighting for justice, not destruction. But what if this Saiyan was different? What if he shared the same brutal nature as the ones that invaded planets and wiped out civilizations?

Trunks' heart raced as his fears grew. Was Earth in danger again?

"As you can see, I am indeed a Saiyan."

Carlo smiled, nodding in acknowledgment. There was no hiding it anymore.
