Supernatural Lovers: The revenge

Chapter 4: SHOCKED!!!!

There was truly only one way to find out

If she were to be my mate she would feel her wolf stirring in her

So I needed to get close to her to see if she was truly my mate if she is my mate we would be connected almost immediately

I was excited throughout dinner and had only one thought on my head

I need to meet her after dinner

Immediately after dinner was concluded I waited close to the servants quarters because the servants have to tidy up the kitchen before going to Sleep As I waited for her in the dark area I could here my mother sternly warning someone I couldn't see her expression or face but I could see the person she was warning to stay off me and she was no other than my mate

I felt an overwhelming urge to step in and defend her, but I restrained myself, curious to see my mate's reaction. However, her response caught me off guard. Without arguing, she simply agreed to stay away from me.

I was taken aback. How could my mate willingly accept such a directive, especially when it came from my mother? The woman who might be my perfect match seemed to be surrendering without a fight, and I couldn't help but wonder why.

My mother stormed off with a huff, leaving me to ponder why she had been so harsh. As I stood there, lost in thought, my mate began walking towards the servants' quarters. I emerged from the shadows, my voice barely above a whisper, and said the word _"MATE"_.

I waited with bated breath for her reaction, but she simply turned around, looked at me with an expressionless face, and bowed respectfully. "Sir, do you need anything?" she asked in a sweet, yet detached tone.

I was taken aback, unsure of how to respond. "Ummm...," I stuttered, before coughing awkwardly. "Are you feeling anything different?" I asked, hoping for some sign that she sensed our connection.

Her eyes widened slightly, but her voice remained neutral. "No, sir."

I was perplexed, unsure of what to make of her reaction. Dismissing her, I began walking slowly and lazily towards the pack house. Despite my initial intention not to sleep over, I couldn't bring myself to leave, knowing my mate was here. I wanted to keep her close, to ensure she didn't slip away from me.

As I entered the house, I summoned my Beta, Jason, and instructed him to gather information about the mysterious woman. My mind was consumed by thoughts of her, and I couldn't shake off the feeling that she was someone special.

I retreated to my room, showered, and attended to my nightly routine, but my thoughts kept drifting back to her. I lay down, intending to forget about her, but my mind refused to cooperate. After all, she was the mate I had been searching for over a thousand years.

Tossing and turning, I couldn't quiet my restless thoughts. Just as I was starting to feel like I'd never fall asleep, a knock at the door broke the silence. My heart skipped a beat as I wondered if it might be her.

I rose from bed, weary, and made my way to the door. With a mixture of hope and trepidation, I opened it to find Jason standing before me, a file in hand. "I've gathered the information you requested, Alpha," he said, his expression neutral.

My heart racing with anticipation, I took the file from him, eager to finally learn more about the woman who had captivated me so utterly.
