Haven's POV
It was evening, and I had to start my shift at the dimly lit bar. The smell of stale beer and sweat lingered in the air as I went about my job, serving drinks to the customers with a forced smile plastered on my face. But my attention was caught by a man sitting in the dark area, his eyes fixed on me with an unnerving intensity. His hand was resting on something I couldn't see, and his smirk made my skin crawl. He rubbed his chin, his gaze never leaving mine, and I felt a shiver run down my spine.
I tried to brush it off, pretending I hadn't noticed him, and continued serving the other customers. But when I finished, my colleague asked me to help her deliver her batch of drinks to the same dark area where the creepy man was sitting. I hesitated for a moment, but not wanting to seem difficult, I agreed.
As I approached the man's table, he looked up at me with a gleam in his eye. I handed him his drink, trying to keep my distance, but before I could turn to leave, I felt his hand close around my wrist like a vice. His grip was tight, and I felt a surge of fear as I tried to pull away. But he held fast, his eyes glinting with a sinister intent.
He then stood up, his movements swift and menacing, and pushed me until my back hit the wall. His face was inches from mine, his breath hot and rank, as he tried to kiss me. I struggled with all my might, using every ounce of power and wit I possessed, but he was too strong. I knew I was in grave danger, that I could be abused without anyone knowing, since this dark and shabby area of the bar was rarely frequented by customers. They preferred the bright and lively side, not this foreboding and neglected corner.
I struggled and tried to scream, but he clamped his hand over my mouth, silencing me. With only one hand, he managed to hold both of mine in place, rendering me helpless. I had lost all hope, and all I could do was whimper and pray to the heavens for safety.
Just when I thought all was lost, a loud bang echoed through the air, and I felt my hands being freed. I looked up, and my eyes met those of... THE ALPHA. At first, he was in his human form, but in an instant, he transformed into a magnificent wolf. He was enormous, bigger than I had ever imagined, with eyes that blazed like embers.
The Alpha's eyes blazed with a fierce and unbridled rage, his aura radiating an intense power that seemed to shake the very air around us. With a snarl, he launched himself at the man, his claws extended and razor-sharp. The sound of scratching and tearing filled the air as the Alpha attacked, his fury unrelenting.
The man tried to defend himself, but he was no match for the Alpha's strength and ferocity. The Alpha's claws ripped through his skin, leaving deep gashes and scars that seemed to crisscross his entire body. The man's face was unrecognizable, his features distorted by the brutal attack.
The Alpha continued to savage the man, his rage showing no signs of abating. It was as if he was driven by a primal need to protect me, to defend me against any threat. Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, the Alpha stopped, his chest heaving with exertion. The man lay at his feet, a broken and battered shell of his former self, with scars that would likely leave him disfigured for life.
As the Alpha transformed back into his human form, I was taken aback by his sudden nakedness. For a moment, I forgot to breathe, my eyes involuntarily fixed on his chiseled physique. But I quickly regained my composure, feeling a flush rise to my cheeks as I hastily turned away.
I could hear the Alpha's deep voice, demanding a new set of clothes, and I waited in silence, my back still turned to him. The sound of rustling fabric and muttered curses filled the air as he dressed, and I couldn't help but feel a mix of relief and embarrassment.
As the minutes ticked by, I finally heard the Alpha's voice, now calm and composed, telling me that I could turn around. I hesitated for a moment, wondering what to expect, before slowly turning to face him.
