Terror's Magic

Ben looked at his arm, bleeding immensely. He walked towards the safe room when the girl spoke using the speaker, "Behind You!" He saw that thing standing there perfectly fine; it swiped at his chest, and he uppercut it with ice.

Voll then followed up with a kick to the legs to try to make the demon drop. It did, but then it sprung at him and attempted to take a bite of Ben. Ben dodged, but it clawed him again, sending streaks of blood flying, as he crashed into a glass bookcase. Oh, it hurt.

The shards of glass were deep and lodged into his back. He groaned as he watched that thing forget him and look up towards a vent, it carefully took the cover off. Ben watched as it started to contort itself to enter the vent; Ben raised his hand and used a minor ice wall to close it off.

He smirked as he faded in and out of consciousness, as the moonlight shone into the library. "Ben!" Vince yelled as the monster was already in front of him, causing its head to snap to the noise. Vince was already running; Ben, using his eyes, coated it in ice. Nearly immediately, it broke out, but Vince already tackled it.

Vince started to pummel, break and flatten the demon's face; with every punch, a new crack could be heard. Vince didn't know if it was his hand, the floor, or its face that was breaking, but he didn't care.

Vince stood up and walked over to Ben, only one of its eyes being open, Ben had started the freezing process. Vince was about to help him up, but the reflection caught a visage of the demon, mostly frozen but standing upright with a new face. A non-broken face.

Vince turned back and swung a solid punch, and it landed, but it didn't react. It smacked Vince out of the way.
