Karma: what is karma, i sincerely wonder if it's gods way of telling us "what happens if this was your situation" what if that were you would you still think the same way.

I think karma just hit me.

I remember telling Amaka I didn't like fat people and that they were rude and that if I were to have a fat roommate I wouldn't care if she was fat I would still pick the down bunk and not care what she has to say about it.

But standing here right now looking at my bunkmate I realize I was only smiling at my 'fat' bunkmate that has already made herself comfortable in my space.

Or so I thought

" Are you my bunkmate" she asked " yes, I think" I answered not wanting it to be true.

"okay, welcome"

"Thank you "

"Are you moving in today "

" No, I'll be back with my things tomorrow" i said walking away.

"Okay but tomorrow we have to clean our windows it's not looking nice"

"Okay see you tomorrow"

I said running back to tell Amaka about the calamity that has befallen me.

Amaka, Amaka, Amaka I screamed as I burst the door of her room open " guess what" I asked her

"What " she answered

" I said guess" I frowned at her.

" If you don't tell me now I'll go back to what I was doing " at that point I gave up and decided to tell her my story..

After narrating the series of event that happened to me that day to her she burst into laughter.

Seriously why do my friends keep laughing at me instead of consoling me.

Anyway we decided to go back to my room pretending to go and drop off my things while we observe the character of my roommate and decided what to do.

On getting there we met her arranging her stuff while complaining about the people she was supposed to eat with that night,she turned around and met us standing there waiting for God knows what.

" You are back" she asked

" Yes I wanted to drop my things then come back tomorrow and arrange them"

I said before noticing that my back bone ( Amaka ) was as surprised as I was when I first came into my room, Knowing she didn't plan on stopping anytime soon I hit her with my elbow and she was brought back to earth.

" Excuse me how old are you" Amaka asked and i was taken a back by her question, why would she asked that, isn't it rude to just ask someone about their age.

" Am twenty years old " she answered without any concern

" Twenty !!!?" I yelled out

" Yes" she answered with a frown, apparently yelling out someone's age is rude, can you imagine.

" Please what level are you " Amaka asked ones again.

"100lvl" she said and I was once again caught with surprise

" This is your first year " Sarah stop being rude Amaka said.

she refused to call me Tessa saying she knew me as Sarah and would not call me any other name. And even though I beg her, she refused.

And plus how was I being rudesge asked the question only confirming it. But what can I say, am the nice one.

" Sorry" I apologized

" Your name is Sarah" the girl asked

" No Tessa" I corrected course I wanted a fresh start so a new name should be just fine.

"Sarah " Amaka countered

" It's both, whichever you'd prefer" I answered eyeing Amaka while she threatened to poke my eye out with a hand gesture.

" My name is favour" she said

" Oh, so we are the only ones that have resumed "

" For now, yes"

" Oh okay, this is my cousin Amaka " i said and they exchanged greetings.

" Distant relative" I added and we all know what distant relative means right.

I mean she's really close to my heart and she's like a sister to me so why not, it's either that or am just used to lying about my sister cause Don't have one.

" Okay, then I'll get going then" I said to her as I moved out with Amaka saying good night to her.

" Dame girl that you roommate is scary "

" Like, she's huge " we laughed

" But she's kind and calm "

" Yeah I wasn't expecting that though"

We continued talking and laughing as we walked back to Amaka's hostel.

I finished my verification that week but never returned to my room, bad character after promising to clean the Windows with her I didn't return how bad of me.

The following week I finally returned to the room at night and met a whole new people,it turns out my room was were people came to charge thiet things since we had light and others didn't, they all introduced themselves to me as I greeted them.

Precious: the funny and mysterious ' she loves Anima' . She is a health education student .

Progress: the nice sweet and loving christian. She's a science education student

Ella Manuel: the beautiful and cute but still has bad mouth. She's a Geology student

Divine: she is scary at first but became one of my favourite, she sweet and loving,super funny and very crazy. She's a Theater Act student.

After the introduction divine feeling like she was forced to be there stormed out while the rest of us just stayed and got to know each other better.

After some time in NDU I was finally getting a hang of it with my new friend Moses, he is the first Anatomy student I met and he was really intelligent he was kind if wierd but he was fun to hang around with he always found a way to put me in the right track when I was going of the ground and that was more often than you think,

Soon enough after moving to my new room and meeting new people I started feeling lazy to visit Amaka I made up irrelevant excuses why I couldn't come but the truth was I felt ousted when she started hanging out with Queen, I felt like I was no longer needed and I really didn't want to be the third wheel or be an inconvenience, I love her but I'll love her from far.

Knowing she was coming to NDU was the only reason I agreed to change school, I wanted us to grow old together.

Anyway I continued going to class and sometimes saved seat for Queen if I could since we took classes together.

One day I arrived at class late and was forced to stand and learn, but come to think of it I didn't actually come late I was 10 minutes early but trust me when I say you would find it hard to see space to stand when you arrive 30 minutes early talk more of ten I was literally squeezing myself in-between people just to see the lecturers skin.

The rule of CHS (college of Health sciences) first year students was: it's either you tell someone to keep seet for you if you won't be coming early or you just forget about class for that day.

While I was standing at the back I noticed two hot babes that weren't smiling, like they were boiling with anger , it was as if someone poured hot water on them or maybe feed them vex pie, seriously if you went close to the Fair skined one you will burn cause she was almost turning red,that girl could beat up someone If they tried anything funny, no jokes.

All that because she couldn't find a seet.

While I was standing peacefully one of them just glared at me for no reason, excuse me we are in the same boat so why glare at me, who the hell do she think she is, does she think she is prettier than me or does she think she has more money than me (scuff) is it because she is putting on wig or something, I don't wear wigs because I don't like them not because I can't afford them.

I walked out of the hall and went to buy something very expensive as if to back up my thoughts but initially I was hungry and tired, I hadn't eaten anything that morning and I was rushing to meet up class that I ended up not attending.

What a waste of my time.

I came back to the hall but they were no longer there and so I gave up and went back to the hostel.

On getting to my room, I laid down to rest , I didn't have the energy to do anything and I had nothing to do so I just fell to my bed.

just as I was about to close my eyes I heard a knock on the door.

At first I wanted to ignore it but it seems like this person isn't leaving anytime soon and leaving her to keep knocking on the door while I was inside and could Clearly hear her was rude and plus she'll be disturbing my sleep.

So I reluctantly got up and opened the door and oh my daze was I dreaming, was I already asleep, maybe it's another one of my dejavu again.

" Hi, are you my roommate" the girl asked and oh My daze this isn't a dream karma what have you installed for me this time.

I cried...
