The Adaptive Quincy of Bleach

Chapter 9: More Scolding (9)

Time skip

As Sora lay on his bed, he couldn't help but feel frustrated. He wanted to help but yet couldn't just because he so happened because his way of dealing with hollows would destroy their soul completely.

He looked annoyed, gazing at the ceiling of his dimly lit room. The faint glow of moonlight seeped through the blinds of his room.

It cast a light shadow on the walls.

He wanted to help so badly.

His mother would be proud of him if he did, remembering her face, a tear fell down his cheek, why did she have to die?

Why couldn't it be him?

Just thinking about it, made his wheel appear once again, the wheel spun and spun over and over again.

The slight silver near his heart began to fade, merging into his body slowly yet steadily. Sora no longer wanted to feel hopeless.

"This isn't fair," He grumbled as he clenched his fist against the sheets." How am I supposed to just stand there and let a hollow kill people," Frustration could be felt dripping down his voice as he combated his own powerlessness.

Why couldn't he help?

He was born strong for Christ's sake, from his little stay in the Ishida family household, he could tell that for a Quincy, he was an anomaly.

As if he was born, differently.

His golden eyes turned a deep shade of red, light sparkles could be seen coming out of his eyes.

"I can't just watch as people die," He said still as frustrated as one child could be.

He hated this, he hated this so fucking much.

His mind replayed the scene over and over again. He remembered the hollow monstrous form, the scream of its victims, and the overwhelming sense of responsibility that had compelled him to act.

He felt like he was being punished for helping, this wasn't fair, it wasn't fair.

This was so unfair.

His Reiatsu flared up once again, though he managed to hold it back, barely, some of it still slipped out of his body.

He hated this.

He gritted his teeth as his frustration began to mount. "If I am so dangerous, then why doesn't he teach me how to control this power? All I have is the ability to make a weapon out of Reishi and that is barely enough. I need a lot more than that."

He felt frustrated at Ryuken for putting such restriction on him, to say he was pissed would be an understatement.

He immediately sat up, his eyes glinting with determination.

There was one person who might be able to help him.

He remembers Uryu mentioning his grandfather.

The man apparently was good with his Quincy-related stuff.

He could teach him what Ryuken refused to do.

Now, the question was, how the heck would he get the man to train him?

From what Uryu told him, the man was quite kind, so he wouldn't mind teaching him right.

His red-ish eyes slowly turn back to being their usual golden color.

He needed to get this man to train him.

No matter what.

"Yeah," Sora said to himself, this was the plan, the way to go. His mother always loved her Quincy heritage and for her, he wanted to give it a try and not let his bloodline go to waste.

"I'll ask Uryu to help me. If his grandpa trains me, I can learn how to really control this power. Then maybe I won't have to hear Ryuken's lectures every time I use it."

He did not want to deal with Ryuken anymore, the man wasn't his dad, and he was free to do whatever the fuck his heart desired.

He wanted to help and thus his mind was set.

He would find a way to bribe Uryu into letting him train with him and his grandpa.

His plan would be put into action soon.

Time skip.

Over the span of 3 weeks, Uryu had to suffer through Sora's constant pleading, each time the boy would find a new method in order to get what he wanted, he was driving the young Uryu into a wall and maybe a bit into insanity.

"FINE," Uryu said pushing his glass back a bit.

He couldn't take it anymore, he was going to start losing his hair if this had gone on for longer.

"Yay, let's go train Uryu," Sora said with a devilish smile.

Uryu felt a shudder down his spine, this boy was scary, very scary and he did not want to deal with whatever lay underneath.

Though Uryu couldn't help but notice, he couldn't really sense Sora Reiatsu, huh...that was weird.

He swore for a couple of days he could faintly sense it, but now he felt like he could not sense the boy at all.

Little did Uryu know that Sora's Reiatsu was so immense that he couldn't perceive it. It was like being in the middle of an ocean—Uryu could neither see the surface above nor the depths below.

Sora Ishida.....truly was an anomaly.

Speaking of which.

Pov change.

Somewhere, in a city that seemed to be surrounded by ice, a city that was hidden in the shadow.

A man could be seen sitting on a throne.

He felt something odd, something pretty odd.
