Initially, Samuel had managed to complete everything within less than 30 minutes that he had asked for. And, he had intended to show himself, in order to help William the moment that he realized that a fight was about to break out.

But he ended up changing his mind a little while later the moment that he realized that there was a powerful aura that was rushing towards them. Considering that his power level was already in the three star rank, he could immediately tell that the other party was also in the three-star rank.

At that moment, he thought that whoever it was that was coming over, it definitely had to be the city Lord. But the intentions of the city Lord could not be seen through, unless he arrived first.

That was the reason why Samuel did not show himself, waiting until the city Lord came over. If the city lord really wanted to take action against William, Samuel would obviously intervene.

Well, it was good, considering that nothing really happened. And considering that Samuel had said that it was successful, perhaps he had a method of solving the situation, in case things did not go the way that they did.

"Recently, we received the information about monsters in the surrounding areas beginning to gather. Several people begin being sent to hunt monsters, to prevent them from gathering.

But it seemed impossible for us to be able to prevent them from doing that, as it seems that there is some kind of force that is bringing them together. So in the end, as the situation began getting dangerous, we had no other choice but to abandon attacking them.

And now, the number of monsters has already reached quite a high number. Surprisingly, they are not only attacking our city, but instead, even the other surrounding cities are going to be attacked soon.

According to the city Lord's tone, it is clear that the monster tide this time is definitely not going to be that simple. I'm not really sure how we are going to handle it." William explained.

Samuel nodded in understanding. It seemed that the number of monsters that were going to attack this time was going to be quite high. But, this was an opportunity, an opportunity for him to be able to improve.

After everything was done, Samuel went back to his room. He wanted to understand more about the golden light within his body. On different occasions, that golden light had appeared, and it was always beneficial.

Samuel believed that this golden light was definitely something that his late father had been talking about. The power that his father had said that he possessed.

But, Samuel wanted to understand it, in order for him to be able to develop. According to his father, after developing, the answers to the questions that he was having would naturally come. And that was the reason why he was looking forward to increasing his strength as fast as possible.

At first, Samuel tried to summon the golden light, but after trying all the methods that he could think of, he could not draw out that golden light within his body.

It was then that he suddenly thought of something else. Maybe this golden light within his body was not something that could just appear. It seemed that he would need to consume something that would give him a large amount of energy, before that golden light would appear.

But just to be sure, Samuel went ahead and asked William if he had several pills that could be used in order to increase his strength.

Even though he was confused, William went ahead and took out all the pills that he had accumulated till this day. He was not sure about what Samuel wanted to do, but he handed them over nonetheless.

After acquiring them, someone went ahead and took all of them at the same time. Well, the pills that he had been given or only contained within two bottles, with each bottle having only six pills. And, each pill was only small, the size of half an adult's pinky finger.

The moment that he consumed the pills, within his body, a huge amount of energy surged. But before this energy could spread within his body, the golden light appeared once again, enveloping the energy, and containing it.
