The Ancient Beast Tamer Bloodline

Despite William being a two-star Beast tamer, he was not allowed to skip the line. That was just the rule that had been set during the awakening ceremony. It was just a matter of first come first served.

And considering that Samuel had come together with William, and had already found that many people were there before them, they had no other choice but to wait.

Samuel went ahead and joined the line of those that were supposed to be awakening. Some people immediately paid attention to him, considering that he was amongst the few older people that were here to awaken.

Regardless of the gazes that he was receiving, Samuel was extremely calm. He simply focused on awakening, and what his father had told him before he passed away.

He was thinking, since his father had told him that he possessed an ability within him, he believed that he was guaranteed to awaken today. It was just that he was not completely sure about that. At least, he had 1% doubt, and 99% assurance.

As they waited, the time for the awakening finally came. The queue that was formed by Samuel and the other youths was from the entrance of the arena, all the way to the edge of the arena.

The arena was currently divided into several parts, indicating that several people would be undergoing the awakening at the same time. Well, that was to be expected, considering the number of people that had come over for the awakening ceremony.

And, the awakening ceremony was only going to last one day, implying that on the following day, there would be no any other person that would be undergoing the awakening ceremony.

Samuel was currently quite a distance away from the arena, and he could not see what was going on there. So, he could only wait, until the time that he approached the arena for him to be able to experience for the first time the awakening process.

And slowly but surely, the queue finally began moving. And about 30 minutes later, Samuel could finally see the arena, and see what was going on there.

Currently, he could see that the arena was split into 10 different spaces. Each space was currently enveloped in a curtain, separating one space from the other.

But those white light curtains were transparent, implying that a person could be able to see through them. It was just that those curtains could not only prevent sounds from reaching those inside the curtains, but even the energy fluctuations during the awakening in one of the spaces would not disrupt the process of the other nine.

Despite the low chances of awakening, there was always a possibility that someone would awaken. And so, precautions had to be taken.

At this moment, Samuel saw that another batch of people was climbing the arena. Each and every one of them got inside a space, where there was someone waiting for them.

The people Inside those spaces were the ones that were going to help them during the awakening process. Additionally, they would be the ones to take action in case those youths that would be undergoing the awakening would encounter any problems.

Each and every one of those 10 people that were overseeing the awakening were 2 star beast tamers!

After ensuring that each of the youth was ready, the awakening process started. First of all, several monsters would be brought onto the arena. Then, each of the youth would decide on what type of monster they would want.

After selecting the monster that they would like to form a contract with, the process began. First of all, there was a contract array that was on the arena. Each space shared the same contract array.

Well, the contract array covered the entire arena, and that was the reason why the moment that it was activated, 10 people would undergo the awakening at the same time. It was due to this reason that the awakening of 10 people would occur at the same time, rather than the 10 people awakening at different times.

The moment that the awakening array was activated, all the 10 youths in on the arena what enveloped by a golden light that suddenly erupted from the contract array beneath them.

The light was extremely brilliant, in such a way that it was extremely difficult for people to be able to see what was happening inside. All that they could see was the figures of the three people inside the light, which consisted of the overseer, the youth undergoing the awakening, and the monster.

After they were enveloped by the Golden light, the situation remained the same for the next 5 minutes. Then, the light finally began receding.

But after the light receded, Samuel noticed that there disappointed expressions on the people around them. After all, the moment that the golden light receded, there was no any other reaction from the arena.

"No successful awakening!" That was the announcement from one of the overseers.

The moment that the announcement was made, several people immediately began making comments.

"As expected, it is difficult to become beast tamers. To become a beast tamer, it's all about luck and destiny."

"It is a pity that out of those 10, there is no any beast tamer. So far, today, there has only been a single beast tamer, but their talent is only meager."

"What do you mean by saying that the talent of the person that became a beast tamer is only meager? Are you a beast tamer? Even if the talent that they possess is only inferior, they are way above you."

Samuel did not comment. Some of the youths around him were also talking, while some of the spectators around them were also conversing with each other.

The queue was formed on a space that was in between the stands of the spectators. That was the reason why Samuel could hear some of the spectators nearby speaking.

After that group of 10 people left the arena, another group immediately went up. But after 5 minutes, they also did not succeed. The same applied to the next batch.

It was only at this point that Samuel finally began understanding how difficult it was for one to become a beast tamer. At this point, he could not help but start getting a little nervous.

Was he going to be a beast tamer? Was what his father had said true? Or was his father just telling him that in order to encourage him?

While many people were disappointed considering that ever since the start of the awakening, only a single person had succeeded, they could not help but be shocked and excited at the same time.

It was simply because this time, after the golden light receded, in three different spaces on the arena, they are a around that space began lighting up. And a miniature version of the contract array appeared in those spaces.

This was something that shocked many people in that they began exclaiming.

"Damn! Three people are going to become beast tamers at the same time? Could it be that this batch is filled with lucky people?"

"If I had known before, I would have definitely joined this batch of people. Maybe I would have been lucky in order to awaken and become a beast tamer."

On the other hand, on the arena, the moment that the miniature contract arrays appeared within the three different spaces, two of the arrays immediately gave out a white light.

And for the other one, it gave a dazzling green light, immediately catching the attention of the people around. This was something that led to a greater commotion than three people awakening at the same time in the same batch of people.

Samuel continued looking at the arena, wondering about the next changes that were going to happen after the light appeared on the miniature arrays.
