LIGHTNOVELWORLD Chapter 7: Advice.
A knock came at her door waking her up , opening her eyes she pushed him aside but he seemed unbothered by the sound at the door and wanted to continue.
"Stop it " she slapped his back .
He sat back sighing.
"Go get the door " she commanded.
He didn't move looking angry he had been interrupted.
She got up and moved to the door but then he followed her opening it.
He frowned when he saw who it was.
"What are you doing here ?"he turned back
"To see you " his sister answered.
Alara blinked moving back to open the door for her to get in.
"Thank you " she said entering.
Alara stood back after closing the door. The guest took her hands , "you must be Alara , his fiancée "
"Ahhh...yes that's my name but am not his ....". She was stopped by Rae who pulled her away from his sister.
"I know she sent you " he said holding Alara by the waist beside him.
"Then you know the reason why am here " his sister muttered.
"Am not moving back , I need to take care of her "
His sister's eyes met with the confused woman in her brother's arms.
"Am sorry I didn't introduce myself... Charlotte Declays " she offered her hand.
Alara took it but Rae slapped them apart .
"Alara Salvatore" she said back.
"Am sorry to have intruded but my brother needs to go back home " she let out.
Alara pulled herself away from Rae .
"His all yours " she walked off.
"Ahh...you can't do that " he yelled.
"This is my home I can do anything I want. And if your family wants you back home then you need to leave " she stated.
"And if they don't ?" he asked.
"Huh?!"
"If I convince them that am safe here then I can stay ?".
She blinked , "maybe "
He glanced back at his sister ,"Let's go "
He grabbed his coat then strode to where she was , stealing a kiss before she could react . He rushed back to the door and left.
She gasped covering her lips .what did he think they where ,married and in love .
She didn't need a goodbye kiss from him.
When the door closed she grabbed her phone and made a call.

"Cant you both leave me alone " Rae walked into his mother's study.
"I would not be worried if it was an ordinary woman you where seeing but her ...No" his mother stated.
"What isn't normal about her ?".
"You dare to ask me such a question ?". He fell silent . "How could you fall for an assassin and one who works for them ".
She stood up ,"And worse get her pregnant".
He sighed.
"Atleast now your going to be a grandmother sooner than you thought " he mumbled.
His mother smiled but then glared down at him.
"Don't change the subject ".
"I didn't you brought it up ".
"Is she doing alright , eating well and resting ?" She suddenly asked.
He smiled nodding. "I make sure to feed her and let her rest. But she is a stubborn woman and keeps escaping off to work ".
"I understand her , the only thing she knows how to do is kill but you made her pregnant so it's going to be hard for her to suddenly adjust ". she sat down next to her son.
"That reminds me of the time I got pregnant with you and your father had to lock me up in the house to get me to rest but eventually gave up after I sneaked away a few times ".she giggled.
"So should I lock her up ?"he muttered.
"Don't be stupid , me and her are not alike. I was simply smart and had few skills that I used to escape but as for your fiancée, she is a trained killer and won't hesitate to kill you if you push her too far ".
He sighed.
"But she almost got caught on one of her missions ,if it wasn't for me she and baby would have been in danger "
"I know your worried about them both but try putting yourself in her shoes . Everything has changed ,her life , surroundings ,her body and everything she thought would never happen to her has , so give her a break . Let her decide for herself what she wants to do before you force your ideas on to her ".
Rae's phone rang.
"What is it ?" He picked up .
"Boss , she has just left " the guard placed at Alara's home reported.
He frowned.
"Okay ,keep on her tail and keep me informed " he instructed.
His mother asked , "what's wrong ?".
"It seems she has another errand to do tonight " he sighed.
"Take my advice son or you will piss her off and she might really kill you or worse disappear and you won't get to see her or my grandnson ever again".
He stood up ,"I will mother , thank you " kissing her cheek .
She watched him walked off , her daughter came in passing her brother leave.
"Is he okay ?". She asked
"He will be after he accepts who exactly he fell for "
Charlotte frowned.
"Is she that bad ?".
"She is considered the most feared and cold blooded assassin in the underworld . When she kills she doesn't leave any witness or evidence to identify her. She is more of a weapon than a woman , crafted to only kill without mercy ".
"Then how did brother fall for such a woman ?". asked Charlotte.
"Its because he knew her before she was Scarlet and involved in such a dangerous world .
Alara was your brother's first love "
"Huh?!" Charlotte exclaimed.
"So no matter how much we try to convince him , your brother won't leave her . Cause to him , she is Alara , the most beautiful woman and the only candidate to be his wife ".
"So you mean he was serious about taking down their organisation if they didn't let her go ?" his sister asked.
"Dead serious , but he forgets that Alara now has another personality ,one she can't easily get rid and that is Scarlet ,the one who had been sent to kill him".
