The Cute Girl That Everyone Thinks Is Perfect Really Hates Me, But I Know Her Weakness Because I Was Raised In A Lab That Creates Perfect Humans

Chapter 10_ Extra-Special Ticket

“You can’t be no one if you’re in the VIP Lounge.”

“I guess I’m an exception then.”

“What type of ticket do you have?”

“The VIP one.”

“I know that… which one?”

I wasn’t in the mood to really have another annoying conversation regarding my ticket and my relationship with Karin-san. If I had known that it was going to be like this, I would’ve preferred to have just waited in line like everyone else.

I took out my phone, hoping that the man would just stop talking to me.

“Actually, earlier, when the clerk said you were Karin-chan’s first. I wonder if she was referring to the Gold VIP ticket.”

“I’m not that popular.”

“Haa, well, which one do you have then?”

“Just the basic one.”

What a pain. I just wanted to take a break and spend my time in peace as I waited for the concert to begin. The room itself was pretty nice, furnished with clean, comfortable couches and plates of various different foods. I just wished for some alone time.

“Well, I guess I’ll introduce myself to you…”

You don’t have to.

“I’m the acting head of the Fushimoto Insurance Company. Usually, I wouldn’t bother to attend concerts like this, but Chihiro-chan and Karin-chan are too cute for me to miss! I can’t wait for the meet and greet, I really want to hug them~.”

I don’t really care.

Also, I’m concerned about how much you seem to show affection toward these girls. Whatever the case, I’ve been hugged by Karin-san, and it wasn’t all that great.

I looked away.

“How about you? Are you part of a production company? You look like that type of boy.”

“No.”

“Oh? How did you manage to get your hands on a VIP ticket, then? Are your parents rich or something? What company are they a part of?”

“It’s nothing like that.”

I hadn’t eaten anything good in a while. Maybe I’d have some of the food here. I wasn’t really into exquisite food, but I guess I’d have some. Maybe it’d convince the man to stop talking to me, but at this point, I doubted it.

“Who’s your bias?” he asked.

“Bias?”

“Yeah, bias.”

He looked at me as if he was expecting something.

“Do you mean my favourite girl in the group?”

“Yeah, what else could I have meant?”

I mean, I didn’t know anyone else aside from Karin-san and the other girl he just mentioned.

“I guess it’d be Karin-san.”

“Oh ho ho, another Karin-chan fan. She is the star girl, after all~! She was the reason I got into this group, but now I’m more into Chihiro-chan. She’s got much more of an elegant vibe around her.”

“Ah… alright then.”

I put some food into my mouth.

Suddenly, a staff member entered the room.

“—The show is starting soon, please follow me, and I’ll lead you to your seats.”

The two of us followed him.

On our way to the front of the seating area, the staff member stopped and pointed at the man’s seat.

“This is yours.”

“Thank you, is the boy not sitting here as well?”

“He’s got a Gold VIP Ticket. His seat is closer to the front.”

Ah… looks like the cat’s out of the bag now.

The man looked at me in shock. Well, based on the reactions of other people, I wasn’t really surprised. He shuffled around in his seat for a little before standing back up.

Oh boy.

He grabbed my shoulders.

“Please, can I have that ticket?! I’ll do anything, I’ll pay you any amount you want!”

“Sir…”

The staff member tried to calm him down but to no avail.

“You don’t know how long I’ve wanted a Gold VIP Ticket! You can’t even buy them online, no matter how much you pay!”

“Um… what even is the difference between our tickets…”

“You get to go backstage with them—you can talk with the members as much as you want when you’re there! The seat is also closer… you can almost touch them~!”

Ugh… to be fair, I didn’t really care about any of those benefits. Normally I’d just give it up, but I didn’t want to do anything that could affect my meeting with Miyazaki-san.

It’s probably best to keep this guy from getting too close to the girls as well… that’d be the nice thing to do, right?

—That’d be what a normal person would do, right?

“Um… I’m sorry, I kind of want this ticket.”

He pulled me with a little more strength.

Annoying.

Grabbing his wrist, I ripped his arm off of my body. He winced with pain as his body jolted back.

“—W-wha…”

I might have grabbed it a little bit too hard.

Before he could initiate another conversation, I began making my way toward my seat. The staff member seemed a little concerned but eventually led me to where I was meant to be.

“Y-yeah, so this is your seat here. After this we have the meet and greet. Since you’re a VIP, you get to enter before the rest of the audience. I’ll show you backstage after that.”

“Alright.”

With that, the staff member walked off.

It certainly was a seat quite close to where they were going to be performing. It was separated by a railing, but if I wanted to, it was definitely possible to reach over and touch the stage. I guess this was about as good as it got when it came to seating positions.

A few minutes later, the lights dimmed, and the girls began walking on stage. They were a group of five, with Karin-san as the centre girl. It seemed that she had changed out of the costume that she was in when she was talking with me. They were wearing brighter clothes with more casual-looking jackets over the top.

They walked forward until the left-most member was only a few metres away from me.

Ah, this feels awkward.

The music began to play.

I guess I’ll sit back and enjoy it while I’m here.
