The Executioner of Horror Films

Chapter 4: Hunting in the shade Final

I knew that I was attacking not only his body, but also his soul itself. I had to rewrite the rules of this game. When Jason rushed at me again, without waiting, I jumped to the side and stabbed me under the ribs. The blow turned out to be effective: he bent over, leaned back - but still didn't fall.

This direction made me stop: he can still attack. Running past me is not an option. I continued to fight him, destroying my projection of helplessness.

And suddenly, as if the darkness was concentrated, I remembered the words that were invested in me by the highest essence. I knew that strength comes only with thirst. I took a step back, aiming the dark blade of my knife to his throat and activating my maximum to be guaranteed to get everything I need to defeat the villain this time.

Focusing all my anger and hatred, I took a sharp step forward. Jason rushed at me again, but at that moment I was full of strength. I dodged the blow, bypassed him from the side and, sparing no effort, furily stuck a knife into his throat.

To my surprise, the trumpet sound pierced the forest. He fell, I stuck the knife again, and this time he stayed in place, his dark figure collapsed, leaving only silence.

Now that he was defeated, I felt a heavy burden leaving me. He was killed, but I knew I needed to bury him completely before the horrors of this gloomy place took a new breath. I quickly took out the knife and, concentrating all my strength, split one of the dark forces, and Jason himself dissolved into thin air.

It was not just a victory over the villain, but a signal. It was the beginning of my journey in this hellish world of horror movies. I felt how success brings new strength. I knew that everything that had happened before was useless historical reproaches. I crossed the line from an ordinary person to an executioner with full rights.

Cautful footsteps were heard from behind. It was the guys who were looking for their confidence. When I turned to them, they looked shocked, but I saw a spark of hope in their eyes.

What... what happened? - said the Lyceum, his voice trembling from the memories of Jason.

Are you blind? I killed him, that's it. - I replied, feeling how the cold goes away, and new sparks light up inside me.

I won this battle, but I knew that there were many more difficulties waiting for me on this path. I felt my essence changing, and I can't just watch anymore. I became an executioner - and let it be my second life.
