Chapter 8 The First Mission

8:00am The king and queens throne room

Dante and Axle standing in the middle of the room. King Bujon and Lien are sitting in there throne chairs looking at them. In the room is a bundle of soldiers as well. Dante is standing next to Axle looking nervous and says in his mind, oh man first mission don't be nervous. Axle peering over to Dante and says are you nervous Dante? Dante flinches a little and looks at Axle nervously and says, no. Axle with a stern face looks down at Dante's hand shaking and says, right. Dante embarrassingly looks at his hand, and grabs it immediately with the other and nervously smiles.

Ahem Ahem

Dante and Axle turn there attention toward there father. He then begins to say now that I have your attention. Let me get started on discussing your mission. Axle staring with a blank stoic expression and says, pray tell father what would be this mission we are doing? That it would call for only the two of us, and why not all four? King Bujon replies, well to answer your first question the mission isn't that big, to where it calls for the four of you.

Dante steps forward and says why is that father? And why just me and Axle why not Muha or Damian for this? King Bujon strokes his beard and says because I only want to send you two for this. But enough with these questions! The mission that I want you and Axle to do is, go to Noje and find out what's been going down in the village. Axle folds his arms and says why is there some strange activity happening in the village? Bujon says, that I don't know . That's why I want you two to find out. Also, I've been hearing rumors of a band of bandits pillaging from the shops and the people of Noje, and if that's true it needs to be stopped! King Bujon says do you understand my sons? Axle says, yes father we under stand, and if there are bandits, me and Dante will bring them to justice for the kingdom. Axle turns with a stern look on his face toward Dante and says, isn't that right Dante. Dante sweating a little and says yes that's right! King Bujon puts a proud smile on his face and says good! You leave at 10:30am, so for now, get ready and prepare. Dante and Axle bow there heads and say, yes father in unison.

Bujon says you are dismissed. Dante and Axle both turn and to walk out of the throne room. Outside in the hallway Dante and Axle lean up against the wall. Dante looks over at Axle and nervously says, well Axe you ready for our first mission. Axle looks at Dante with a serious face and says, it doesn't matter if I'm ready or not; it has to be completed for the kingdom, but in short yes. Dante looking comedically confused and says, uh okay that didn't really need to be a overly explained answer! Axle looking forward and says in his mind I wonder why father just paired me and Dante together, and why not me and Damian for this? Is this a test to see if me and Dante perform well together for this task?

Axe hey Axe! Axle snaps out of being in deep thought and says yes. Dante looking at Axle with a some what confident smile and says you ready to get prepared to head out! Axle says, yeah let's move. The two brothers press off the wall and start walking down the hall. Both are steadily walking, Dante looks over at Axle and says if anything happens, just to let you know I got your back Axe. Axle glances over at Dante and says, me as well brother, me as well.
