Chapter 257: Dragon's Fury
The attack had happened so suddenly that Jenlyns didn't have time to notify Butch, but here he was, having come on his own.
Looking at the situation now, it was clear that Jenlyns had been too short-sighted.
He opened his mouth, unsure what to say at first.
Then he remembered his mission here and quickly responded, "I can't. If no one fights off the demons here, more demons will come into the city. The city won't be able to hold them off."
Butch had already observed this from the sky.
If he was saying this, he must have his reasons.

"I'm telling you to leave. Even if you stay here, how much longer can you hold out?"
Butch stretched his neck, and a cracking sound echoed.
Jenlyns fell silent.
He didn't argue anymore and instead asked, "Then what do you plan to do?"
Butch grinned as his wings suddenly spread wide.
A single flap of his wings stirred up a gust of wind.
"I'm going to go all out."
After training at the ironworks for so long and gaining all that experience, it was time for him to show his true power.
It was also time to remind the demons of the strength of the last dragoconid race in this world.
Butch soared into the air.
He noticed that after wiping out a group of demons, more demons kept coming to fill the gap.
"These numbers aren't even enough for a snack."
Butch chuckled, raising a hand toward the sky.
A massive fireball formed at his fingertips and shot down toward the ground.
Anything that came into contact with the fire was instantly reduced to ashes, and the demons were no exception.
Butch muttered, "All that work at the ironworks wasn't for nothing."
If it weren't for Hanjun, Butch knew he wouldn't have grown this strong.
He was deeply grateful to Hanjun and had every intention of fulfilling Hanjun's expectations.
After clearing out the smaller enemies, Butch thought the situation was under control.
He was about to head into Ulon City to help others.
Hanjun would be disappointed to see the city in such chaos, so Butch thought he should tidy things up before his return.
But just as he was about to move, he noticed the demon army stirring again.
Butch stopped and focused his gaze.
As an Ogre Knight emerged from the ranks of the demon army, Butch's expression shifted.
"I didn't expect the demons to have someone this powerful."
It seemed the demons had noticed the fierce resistance from Ulon City and were sending in one of their high-ranking demons to crush the city quickly.
Butch had to admit, the demons were smarter than he had given them credit for.
He hadn't known they had such tactical minds among them.
With a mocking grin, Butch steeled himself.
Now that the Ogre Knight had appeared, he couldn't back down.
If he retreated, the people behind him would be doomed.

The Ogre Knight had waited a long time and was finally given permission to join the battle.
He immediately grabbed his weapon and strode into the fray.
However, what he saw wasn't the person he had expected from before, but someone flying in the air.
The Ogre Knight paused.
He hadn't known humans could fly.
When had they gained such powers?
Still, this flying human was his enemy until he found the one who had outwitted him in the previous battle.
The Ogre Knight took a few steps forward, pointed at Butch, and said, "Since you've chosen to stand in my way, that makes you my enemy. I won't hold back."
Butch hadn't expected the demon to be so polite, but he wasn't one to shy away from a challenge.
With a grin, he prepared himself for the fight ahead.
"Same to you."
The two of them glared at each other, testing their strength up close.
Butch's hands suddenly grew dragon scales, and he used his bare fists as weapons, charging at the Ogre Knight.
Though the Ogre Knight appeared bulky, he was surprisingly nimble for his size.
Their weapons clashed, creating a sharp, metallic sound that rang out.
Neither of them gained the upper hand.
They were thrown apart, only to size each other up again before colliding once more.
Each impact was powerful enough to ripple through the air, sending shockwaves that spread outward.
It was clear to anyone nearby that a fierce battle between two mighty forces was underway.
After several exchanges, Butch and the Ogre Knight had gauged each other's strength and retreated slightly.
The Ogre Knight stretched his muscles and asked, "Who exactly are you? I've never seen a human as physically tough as you."
Butch's arm felt slightly numb, but he didn't let it show.
Acting nonchalant, he said, "Just an unknown guy who di hard labor at the ironworks. It's no surprise you don't know me."
The Ogre Knight looked puzzled, "Ironworks? Hard labor?"
Butch didn't bother explaining further and replied, "No need for idle talk. I'm in a hurry."
His tone was dismissive, as if he didn't see the Ogre Knight as a real threat, believing his own strength far surpassed his opponent's.
Angered, the Ogre Knight shouted, "Fine! Let me show you what I can really do!"
He set down his weapon and began casting magic.
As the sky darkened and the earth trembled, Butch finally felt intrigued.
His wings grew larger and larger, soon blocking out the sunlight entirely.
While everyone focused on the changing sky, they didn't immediately notice what was happening.
Suddenly, a massive, winged creature appeared in the sky—a giant, brown lizard, so large it obscured the sky, drawing everyone's attention.
People started to guess what it was, but the players who were very familiar with the game world, shouted, "Isn't that a dragon?"
A winged lizard, the kind of western dragon often seen in TV shows and movies, finally appeared.
Players had previously been wondering why there were no elves or dragons in <<God's Games Online>>.
