The bandits destroyed the Village. Luffy was defeated and captured. The Bandits wanted to go to the Sea.

There they threw Luffy. Shanks saw that immediately jumped and saved Luffy before he drowned. He sacrificed one of his hands for Luffy. He also beat up all the bandits.

"Shanks your hand"

"It's okay Luffy" he said giving Luffy the straw hat this is better for me.

Currently

Luffy stared at the Ocean now it's time for me to sail.

"Wait for me Shanks I will recruit the awake and come to the Grand line" Luffy's determination with his Eyes members.

Luffy sailed to the Outer Pacific Ocean, he met Yuki Haku in the Buton Islands of the Archipelago.
