The Lost heir of somewhere unknown

Chapter 53: Chapter 53 Cha-Cha Slide

"Wait, it's five p.m., what are you still doing here?" Jody asks, entering the locker room. Ugh, what's the point of going home if I can't be with Moses? I was on my way to him, but then I heard Zoey come in saying that there wasn't any water at school, so they had to send all the children home." Liah grumbles.

"Wow, things really aren't going like you thought they would, huh." "You can say that again, he has been in my home for almost a week now and I've been with him twice, twice Jody, you have no idea how badly I'm craving him right now." Liah groans.

"Sorry girl, but there doesn't seem to be anything we can do about the situation, so just be patient, anyway Joseph is on his way to pick me up, so do you want a drive home?" "Might as well," Liah grumbles again grabbing her bag.

An hour later Liah enters her house and pause inside her doorway as the sweetest sound she had ever heard coming from a man drifted towards her ears. Moses was laughing, and not the deep chuckle he usually makes in his throat or the snorting sound he usually makes, no, he was laughing, as in laugh out loud laughing.

She has never heard him actually laugh before. Her feet moved as if of their own accord as they took her towards the sensational sound, and there he was in her living room with Zoey, apparently, she was teaching him to dance again, this time they were doing the (Cha-Cha-slide) Her mother who was in the kitchen was covering her mouth trying very hard not to burst out laughing.

So wait, was she the only one who was disappointed that they didn't get to spend today together? Because clearly he didn't look disappointed.

They were about to do the crisscross when he bumped into Zoey. She stumbled and was about to fall but he grabbed her, however, her weight pulled him towards her, and realizing he was about to fall on top of her, he shifted his body causing her to fall on top of him.

The jealousy coursing through her body was unlike anything she had ever felt for David. "Are you two alright?" Her mother asks drying her hands on a dish towel as she approaches them. "I swear, this man has never danced before coming to this Island," Zoey grumbles pushing herself off him. "You might be right about that." He laughs, stands up, and straightens his clothes.

Unable to watch anymore Liah grumbles a good evening, turns, and walks towards her room. Michael nods to acknowledge her greeting but he remains where he is. "Liah, wait. I've something to show you." Zoey hurried after her, then stopped and turned back towards Michael. "You, keep practicing." She orders, and Michael nods with a smile.

"Look at this," Zoey handed Liah her phone. There was a video on the screen. Taking a deep breath Liah tried to suppress the raging jealousy that was still coursing through her. For the next few minutes, her eyes were glued to the screen of Zoey's phone as she watched a video of Michael exercising.

He was wearing sweatpants, a marina, and socks. He began by taking a black piece of cloth from one of his pockets and blindfolding himself with it. He then stood straight, stretching his hands above his head, then he bent, placed both his hands on the floor and lifted his body straight in the air, his toes pointing towards the ceiling.

He then bends his arms until his nose touches the floor, then straightens them again, he repeats that movement over ten times, then while keeping his hands straight he stretches both his legs out on either side of him, then back together again. He again repeated that movement a few times. His hands not wavering for a second remained steady and straight as he then brought one leg to the front and one to the back in a perfect air split.

Wow, he looks like a gymnast. she thought biting her lips. He then brought his legs together again, then lowered his feet to the floor, stood, stretched his arms above his head then brought them down on either side of him while taking deep breaths.

All his movements were well-paced and precise. He then went down on his hands and began doing push-ups. A lot of push-ups, over fifty. To see him do all he was doing after all that was done to him was amazing and she couldn't help but feel highly sexually aroused just watching him.

After all those push-ups, he once again stood straight and took a few more deep breaths, as sweat ran down his face, neck, and chest. With his blindfold still on, he then took a few steps to his right, picked up the sword that was leaning against the chair, and held it straight upwards. "Zoey, please remain a safe distance from me." She heard him say his back still to the camera. "Okay." She heard Zoey squeak out. He then began moving it around his body with accurate precision. Wow, my very own ninja, and the fact that he was all hers made her bite her lips even harder, trying to suppress the sexual tingle that was fast replacing her raging jealousy.

"Are you finished?" Zoey asks running back into the room. Liah handed her the phone but said nothing. "Now tell me, how can someone so flexible be such a bad dancer?" Zoey shakes her head while standing in front of her mirror brushing her hair. Liah shrugged and was about to walk away but then stopped and turned back to Zoey.

"Did he know you were recording him?" "Well, he knew I was in the room but I don't think he knew I was recording him, why?" "Nothing, just wondering. I'm going to freshen up before dinner." Liah grumbles over her shoulder before walking from the room.

Throughout dinner, Zoey kept them entertained with stories about her classmates and teachers. Her mother shared a few about her church sisters, she and Moses didn't say much. After dinner, Zoey introduced him to a Louise Bennet documentary before joining her in the kitchen to help her clean up and to their amusement, he couldn't stop smiling.

Dear Father up in heaven, where in the universe did this man come from? And what were her chances of actually spending the rest of her life with him? She wondered while drying the dishes.

Later that night he was sitting on the floor meditating when a sound from his window alerted him. He got up, grabbed his knife belt, and fastened it around his waist, he then grabbed his sword and in the darkness moved next to the window.

"You can see anything?" A voice asks. "Not a rass thing, the curtain too damn thick but no problem, an only the bitches dem in deh, easy pickings." another voice states.

"Let's just grab the bitch he likes so we can use her to lure out that ass-hole so we can gut him." "That mother-fucker thinks that he can come onto our turf, stir up an ants nest then run and hide? He has no idea what's coming his way, him going see how we deal wid a pussy like him." The other adds.

He heard them break the glass in the window, but surprisingly it didn't make as much noise as he thought it would. Glass breaking was usually loud, was it not? He then hears the latch on the window being pulled. The men then climb through the window, one at a time.

"Alright, we don't have much time, let's find this bitch." one growl but before the man could move Michael brought down the handle of his sword in the back of the man's neck and he slumps to the ground unconscious. "What the fuck was that? You alright man?" The other asks in the darkness.

Michael spun his body which brought the blade of his sword to the man's throat. "Silence," He hissed. The man opens his mouth to speak but stops when he feels the cold steel press against his throat. "Why are you so eager to find me?" Michael's voice was calm, cold, and deadly.

Before the man could answer, Liah slowly opened Michael's door, switched on the light, and froze in shock at what she saw. She was about to scream but Michael placed his finger to his lips and shook his head. "Call you brother, now." He orders calmly, she nods and runs from the room.

"You? You were in that house that night. I spared your life, why do you now wish to harm me?" Michael moved the blade a few inches from the man's throat so he could speak. "My brother was in that office with the boss that night mother-fucker, you killed him." the man sneers angrily.

"It was never my intention to hurt anyone, your brother was among the group of men that forcefully took me to that house. He also tried to take my life that night, was I supposed to surrender and allow him to? What would you have done in my position?"

"If you a go kill me pussy, you betta do it, fus chance me get and me a go gut you like a fucking fish." The man sneers again. In one swift movement, Michael spins his sword, and using the handle he hits the man in the side of his head rendering him unconscious as well. "You won't be gutting anyone." Michael snorts stepping over the man, he then stops as he hears another voice.

"A wat the rass the two a you a do in yah so long? Unnnu, find the bitch or wat? The third man asks as he too climbs through the window. Michael spun his body forcefully, his feet solidly connecting with the side of the man's face also knocking him unconscious, just as Liah walked back into the room.

She then stopped and took a few steps backward while glancing at the three unconscious men on the floor. "An...Anthony is on his way." She stuttered out. "Good, I'm going to need some rope." "I...don't think...we have any?" "Then find me something to tie these men." "O...okay." She then hurried from the room on shaking legs.

Seconds later Zoey and her mother also appear in the doorway, they too are about to scream but again he places his finger to his lips and shakes his head. "Please help Liah find something to tie these men with," he instructed and after bumping into each other a few times, they hurried away.

Taking a soldier stand, Michael planted the sword firmly on the ground before him and glared down at the men.

Two hours later he was standing in his room looking at the flat piece of board that one of Razor's men nailed over the broken window when Liah entered the room. "Moses?" "Hmm?" he turns slowly to face her. "Thank you for what you did tonight. If it wasn't for you.....Do you think more of them will be coming here?" Her voice trembles with fear.

"I'm not sure, but if they do, I'll be ready." "Can I sleep in here tonight?" "Can we stay as well?" Zoey and her mother ask seconds later. "There won't be any need for that." Anthony voiced from the doorway causing all three ladies to jump clutching their chests.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you, but someone is on their way over here with three Rottweiler dogs and I have men watching the house, so no one will be getting in this yard unannounced again. Sorry, I should've done this a long time ago, it was my negligence that caused this fi happen but it nah happen again, thank you my youth for saving my family." Michael nods but said nothing,

"You can all go back to bed, after I get the dogs settled, me going to handle those punks and come back here." "Thank you, Moses," Zoey whispers hugging him before they all walk slowly from his room.
