[April 10th, 2011]

(Peter: POV)

"Okay, nice and easy. Nice and easy." I calmly spoke.

Holding my breath as I steadily reached and grasped the cat in front of me.

Who thankfully didn't struggle in my arms.

Like most cats do when I try and hold them.

Which has been a thing with me ever since my previous life.

But I guess that's likely because I'm a dog person.

No offense to cat lovers.

Though there are certain felines I do like.

Namely Black Cat and Catwoman.

Speaking of, its been a while since I've seen my feline-themed thief.

At least in our alternate personas.

I still see Felicia at school.

Who knows, maybe our last meeting caused her to turn over a new leaf.

Yeah right.

I'm optimistic but I'm not naive.

Moving on.

Jumping down from the tree I was in I handed the cat in my arms to the ten year old boy who had asked me to retrieve the feline in the first place.

"Leo. Thank you Spiderman." The boy said.

"No problem." I told him.

I then walked off, continuing my first patrol through Central Park.

On foot.

Greeting people as they passed me I continued on my leisurely walked.

Taking a photo here or there with people who asked me for them.

Then before I knew it it was lunch time.

'Time to eat.' I thought.

I then found the nearest hotdog vendor.

"Eh, Spiderman. How you today buddy?" The vendor asked me.

"Good." I replied. "Ah, so today I'll take well-done dog with ketchup, mustard, some grilled onions, and some jalapeno peppers." I spoke. "As well as a coke."

"Sure buddy! Sure." The vendor replied.

He then prepared my dog and food, and in return I gave him a $10 bill.

"Keep the change." I said.

I then walked up, and slightly pulled up my mask, to enjoy my hotdog and drink.

Finishing it, I pulled my mask back down, threw my trash away, and then left Central Park.

After which I continued my patrol by web slinging through the city.

That is until I got an alert of a robbery in progress at a local bank.

Swinging over there I arrived.

I then accessed the camera feed of my Spiderbot in the area. Connecting its feed to my lenses.

Since over this past month I've created numerous Spider tracers and Spiderbots.

All of which has boosted my hero game exponentially.

Oh, I also upgraded my suits' lenses.

Though I still haven't figured out how to control the Spiderbots through mental commands alone.

For that I will likely need Otto Octavious technology.

Though from the research I've done into him he hasn't invented what I want yet.

Which is both good and bad, considering the moment he invents his arms is generally when he starts down the path of Doctor Octopus.

Now that's a villain I'm certainly going to prevent from being born.

Anyway.

Using my Spiderbot I surveyed the immediate area.

Finding myself utterly surprised when I saw the visual feeds my bot was sending me.

Which was of multiple armed men hiding in areas around the bank.

Not to mention the dozen or so gunmen inside the bank itself.

Where there were no hostages, or any robbery of any kind taking place.

It was only the armed men.

Along with none other than Alonzo "Lonnie" Lincoln, also known as Tombstone.

A criminal enforcer for some of the biggest players in New York's underworld.

The man made even more dangerous after he was exposed to the chemical, Diox-3, which granted him superhuman physical capabilities.

Which from the look of him has already taken place in this reality.

His appearance here also means someone with power is likely looking to take out a specific target.

The only question is who?

"Okay boys. Remember the plan. When Spiderman shows up let him have it. And if the cops come first light em up until the bug comes. Then we squash. Got it?"

"Got it!"

'Well that answers part of my question.' I thought.

Someone has put out a hit on me.

But I still need to find out who.

On that note it's time to get to work.

(3rd Person: POV)

At Tombstone and his people continued waiting for Spiderman to show up, the person in question went around taking out all of them they had stationed around the perimeter.

Once he accomplished this Peter had his Spiderbot get into position next to the banks electrical generators.

After this he entered the bank through the air vents, until he reaches the main lobby where Tombstone and the rest of his armed men were.

Looking down at them from his position atop the ceiling Peter activated the night vision function of his lenses.

He then had his Spiderbot temporarily disable the generator for the bank.

Once this occured all lights inside immediately went off.

"Hey, what the hell?!"

"Where'd the lights go!"

"Get that power back on now!" Tombstone shouted.

Right after he did Peter jumped down from the ceiling into the middle of the armed men.

"Heyo!" He shouted.

Peter then began lashing out with punches and kicks, taking out the gunmen and their weapons with ease.

"What?!"

"Whose there?!"

"Someone attacking us!"

"Then let's get em!"

After this shout rang out Peter walked up right to Tombstone, and then had his Spiderbot turn the generator for the bank back on.

Leading the mob enforcer to "lucky" spot him.

"Spiderman!" Tombstone cried.

"That's my name." Peter replied. "What's yours. Chalk man? No, perhaps living ghost. No, wait how about-" He began.

Only to put his arms up in front of his face, to block a punch aimed at his head by Tombstone.

Which sent Peter flying back.

But he easily reoriented himself, landing feet first on the wall he was punched towards.

As this happened Tombstone and his remaining gunmen look around and saw their fallen comrades.

Seeing this Lincoln grit his teeth, and then returned his gaze to Spiderman. "Boys, light em up!"

"Sir!" The remaining men shouted.

They then aimed their weapons at Peter and pulled the trigger.

But none of the bullets fired hit him.

Since he simply ran along the bank walls, avoiding each and every shot.

All the while contacting the police.

"Boss, we've got police inbound." One of the armed men informed Tombstone.

"Damnit!" Lincoln shouted. He then took a moment to weigh his options. "We're pulling out. Let's go!" He ordered his men.

"Yes!" They replied.

Continuing to fire at Peter as they made their escape.

Which was successful.

Having no idea they were moving all according to Peter's plan.

"Well, that went exactly as I planned." Peter mused.

He then jumped down to the ground and webbed up all those he had knocked unconscious.

After which Peter exited the bank and then perched himself up on a nearby building and waited for the cops to arrive.

Who then arrested everyone he had taken out.

Once Peter saw this was done he portal'd back to the Spider's Den.

He then went to the computer in the lab and brought up a video and audio feed from the Spiderbot he had placed on Tombstone earlier.

Since Peter knew a guy like that would never talk.

So he engineered his escape so that he could follow him back to who hired him.

Then he would take down both Tombstone and his boss all at once.

Simple.

Kicking his feet up Peter monitored the feed from his Spiderbot.

Where he eventually found Tombstone meeting with none other than Wilson Fisk, the Kingpin.

Who Peter noted looked exactly like he did in the MCU.

'Damn.' He thought.

A little upset.

Since he loved watching Vincent D'Onofrio in Law & Order: Criminal Intent in his previous life.

Now her he's going to have to unalive the man, as a certain merc with a mouth would say.

But Peter knew that if he simply killed Fisk it would leave a huge power vacuum in New York criminal underworld. Since say what you will about the man, but Fisk kept people in line.

A thing Peter could not yet do for the entirety of New York with the current resources at his disposal.

But if he doesn't do anything about Wilson Fisk he'll be looking over his shoulder every tine he suits up.

A situation Peter couldn't allow.

Since all it would take is one single slip-up and he would be dead and gone.

Again.

Leaving Peter in a slight conundrum.

"What to do, what to do?" Peter mused. Lightly tapping a finger to his chin.

Until he eventually had a lightbulb moment.

"Oh yeah, that'll work." Peter mused.

Getting a devilish smile on his face.

For he had just come up with a plan to solve his Fisk troubles.
