Chapter 25: Chapter 25: B Word
[April 15th, 2011]
(3rd Person: POV)
Standing in the main control room of his boss, Wilson Fisks', headquarters, also known as Fisk Tower, Tombstone stood in front of multiple video screens.
Watching all the news channels, since all of them were running the same story.
How his boss links to organized crime were exposed, and he was arrested because of this.
As he watch a video clip of his boss being escorted out of his house by NYPD S.W.A.T. officers Lincoln couldn't help but slightly ground his teeth in utter frustration.
"Whoever did this is dead." He muttered.
Though saying that only frustrated Tombstone even more. Since they had been searching for the way of our Fisk links to crime were exposed when his boss was arrested two days ago, and they had come up with nothing.
"It's impossible. There can't be nothing. No one is that good at covering their tracks." Lincoln muttered.
"Actually some people are." A new voice whispered into Lincoln's right ear.
Quickly causing Lincolns head to turn in its direction, and then put a furious expression on it a moment later.
"Spiderman!" Tombstone growled.
"Yep, me. The rookie hero who put the great Wilson Fisk behind bars." Peter spoke.
"You bastard!" Tombstone roared.
He then started to move closer to Spiderman.
"Agh!!!"
Only to let out a scream of pain, alongside waves of electricity rolling off his body.
Courtesy of a Spiderbot that had attached itself to Lincoln when Peter made his arrival to Fisk Tower.
After disabling all of its security measures.
Which Peter has to admit we're pretty good, and would keep most people out.
Though he isn't most people.
Falling to his knees Lincoln continued to scream in agony.
Meanwhile Peter casually placed his feet on the ground, getting down from the web line he was hanging upside from, and punched Lincoln right in the face.
Sending it into the ground.
Then after he did Peter placed his left foot atop Lincolns' head and start grinding it even further into the floor.
But only doing so after he ordered his Spiderbot to stop shocking the man.
"Hey, are you listening? Blink once for yes." Peter coldly spoke.
"Who do-"
Before Lincoln could finish speaking Peter raised up the foot he had on his face and stomped it back down.
Hard.
Right on top of Lincolns' ear.
Which Peter had deduced a few days ago was one of the mob enforcer weak points.
"Lincoln, Lincoln, Lincoln, you don't seem to understand the situation you are in. So let me spell it out for you. I am in entire control of this situation, not you. Now, blink once for yes." Peter spoke.
As Tombstone stared at Spiderman he reluctantly did as he was told.
"Oh good, looks like you can follow orders. That's really great." Peter happily spoke. "It will serve you well in your new role."
"What?" Lincoln questioned.
"Yes, your new role as my bitch." Peter said. "What I mean by that is you now work for me. Not Fisk, or anybody else. Not even yourself. Your time is my time. I tell you to jump, you ask how high. I tell you to kill, you ask how and when. I tell you to wear a dress, you ask which brand and what color." Peter spoke. "And if you don't then I won't send you to prison like I did your boss I'll just kill you. Since unlike him you are truly nothing. Just a powered up meat shield who wags his tail for whoever is feeding him."
"You bastard!" Tombstone shouted.
"Woah! Language! You kiss your mother with that mouth?" Peter playfully replied.
"Fuck you bug!" Tombstone roared.
He then moved his arms to try and grab Peter's leg.
Only for Peter to remove it, and then for Lincoln to recieve an even more powerful electrical blast from from the Spiderbot on his body than before.
Ignoring Lincolns' cries of pain Peter walked over to Fisk desk and took a seat in it.
He then kicked his feet up and leaned back in the chair.
Simply watching and waiting as Tombstone continued getting fried by high voltage electricity.
For even his powers didn't allow him to avoid damage from such an attack.
"Well, you just let me know by saying when. Then we'll resume our chat." Peter spoke.
He then went to watching the news, completely ignoring Lincoln.
Who after twenty minutes eventually gave in.
"When!!" He said through gritted teeth.
Hearing this Peter turned his attention back to Tombstone and deactivated the Spiderbot shocking his body.
Uncaring that Lincolns' entire body was smoking a bit.
Since if Peter didn't need him he would easily kill the guy.
Giving the man a few minutes to recover Peter waited until he was sure Lincoln was paying absolute attention to him before speaking again.
"Alright, Lincoln here's the deal. Your boss Fisk is in jail. I put him there. But he got off easy. Considering I only gave the authorities, the ones he hasn't paid off, a little taste of the deep cesspool of shit I have proof your boss is mixed up in. Because as much as he disgusts me his reputation is something I still need at the moment to keep this city from turning into a warzone. A job you are now going to help me with. Since I know you are his right-hand man. Meaning he will likely put you in charge of his affairs until he thinks he's going to be released from prison. But that is never going to happen. Though you will not be telling Fisk this. No, you will play the good little soldier. Working to carry out all of Fisk orders. But on my terms. Also the hit he put out on me. It goes away. I don't care how you do it Lincoln. Just get it done. Now then bitch, have I made myself clear?"
Lincoln said nothing in response.
"I did not stutter. Have I made myself clear?" Peter asked.
"Yes." Lincoln gritted out through his teeth.
"Excellent." Peter replied.
He then got up from Fisk desk and moved over to Lincoln to help him up.
He then moved him over to Fisk seat and placed him in it.
"Well so long as we understand each other. That's all I ask for." Peter said in a cheery tone. "Well I then bid you farewell." He spoke.
Peter then moved to take off.
But before he did he stopped in his tracks and turned his head back in Lincolns' direction.
"Oh and Lincoln, know that I am always watching. So if you even take a shit in a way I find suspicious you're dead. The same will happen if you somehow manage to kill me. But for you that's not possible. So again, see you. Until our next chat." Peter spoke.
He then exited Fisk Tower and webbed away.
Leaving Tombstone completely shaken to his core.
For instance his heart he was now slowly becoming more afraid of Spiderman than Wilson Fisk.
Just as Peter had planned.
For he had decided after learning of the hit Fisk put out on him a few days ago to send the man to jail. Then use Tombstone as a proxy to control his criminal empire.
Until he was ready to fully burn it to the ground.
A smile on his face Peter enjoyed swinging in the cool spring breeze.
"Ah, as Hannibal from A-Team would say, I love it when a plan comes together." He spoke.

(Peter: POV)
The following morning after my little "chat" with Lincoln I used my Spiderbots to make sure he was behaving himself like a good little bitch.
Which he was.
Good to see he's not a total idiot.
After checking up on my new pawn I spent the rest of the day in the Spider's Den, working on figuring out the secrets of GR-27 and how to perfect.
I also added to my plate figuring unraveling how exactly Tombstone physiology was altered by Diox-3.
For I had had one of my Spiderbots take several blood samples from him the other day.
As I examined Tombstones DNA I found it had several similarities in common with my own.
Meaning the Diox-3 chemical was related either directly to my parents work or Oscorp Industries. Though my money is on the latter.
Doing a little digging I found my hunch to be right and that Diox-3 was created by a subsidiary corporation of Oscorp.
Telling they had their finger in yet another superhuman creation pie.
Though I'm not surprised.
Storing this discovery in my labs servers I went back to work on the GR-27.
Then when I finished I went home for the day.
I then spent the next couple of weeks simply going through my normal routine.
Until one day everything changed.
---------------
On my way to school as usual I was suddenly stopped my Gwen.
"Peter." She said.
"Yeah, what's up?" I asked. Getting off my board.
"So uh, you know the Stark Expo is going on right now." Gwen said.
[A/N: Once again readers this is not the MCU, so the timeline in this fic won't match up entirely with the films. Some events will. But many won't]
"Yeah, I've been meaning to check it out but I've been busy with other stuff." I spoke.
Namely superheroing.
"Why, you want to go?"
"Yeah, just the two of us." Gwen said.
"You mean, like a date?"
"Y...yeah." Gwen replied.
"Oh, I see." I said. Getting a shit eating grin on my face.
Looks like all my flirting is paying off. But to think Gwen would ask me out first.
Though that's fine, I like women with initiative.
"Then it's a date." I replied.
I then leaned in and gave Gwen a quick kiss on the cheek.
Leading her to start blushing up a storm.
But before she could say anything I took off on my skateboard.
"Call you later." I said.
Laughing as I continued heading towards school.
The world around me now looking a little bit brighter.
