Chapter 53: Plans to take over
Chapter Fifty-Three
"Her nanny has a sister. She is paralyzed and has been that way for a very long time… probably for years. I learned while she was unconscious, someone… defiled her. She got pregnant and her nanny takes care of them." Markus continued, disgust written all over his face.
"What sick bastards are Marco breeding in his home?" Indeed, it was sickening.
"Exactly! However , the most shocking part is, nobody knows who did it. Nobody seems to care. It is like that behavior is a normal thing in that Villa. My bet is on one of Marco's nephews. Those boys would chase after anything in a skirt. They have no regard for the guns they hold. A mafia who picks up any gun to use, isn't to be trusted.
And the fact that Marco didn't allow anyone to do anything about it or look for the culprit, is what is beyond my reasoning. They said Asli was quiet about it too." Ahmet didn't believe the last statement. If he did not know anything about Asli, he at least could swear she hated bastards who took things without asking. She had punched him when he kissed her without asking.
"Are you sure she wasn't? Knowing the character she is, I doubt she… well, you are right, it's been years now, if she would have acted, she would've done that years ago." He didn't want to defend her either. Because Asli would've done everything in her power to catch the culprit if she had wanted to.
"Yes. And you cannot tell me she did not care. That is her nanny's sister. But then, everyone says she has no heart so well maybe she didn't care. Also, I have installed secret microphones in the Villa. Our operation is set. But I have a question. What are we going to do about Asli and her Nanny? Her nanny's sister and niece as well. We don't kill the innocent. Asli isn't innocent but her nanny and her family are." Markus drew his attention to that.
"Our operation is only to take control over their Villa. Anybody who fights us will be far from being called innocent. If her nanny and her family were innocent, they wouldn't fight us." Ahmet mentioned and they both stared into each other's eyes for a long while.
Did he mean he would fight Asli? They both knew she wouldn't sit still while they tried to take control of their empire. At this moment, he wasn't going to think about what exactly he felt for her. It would probably get in his way.
"If anyone hears about what happened today, then it means we have another mole among us." Ahmet broke the silence.
"And what would you do about Asli? She would want to see a reaction from you after the news you gave her."
"Oh, I did give her one. She doesn't think I believe her and I want to ride on that. No one would've believed her either. If I were to, then you wouldn't have walked away freely. You look unscathed. Should I give you some bullet wounds?" Ahmet joked.
Markus broke into laughter one more time. "Boy, we better finish this operation soon because I have a feeling that old man would probably finish me with slaps. And no, thank you."
"You better work on that attitude of yours. What is with you and laughs?" he warned though he was also laughing. How could Asli even think this man was betraying him?
Sure, he was doing it because he sent him there but how could she believe Markus was a traitor? Being in their Villa, Markus was able to find the real traitor.
"Can I at least have a good meal before I leave? Boy, they have a strict diet in that house!" Markus told him and Ahmet believed it. Asli always looked like she neglected her food in the first place. She was hell burnt on accomplishing her missions.
"Should I order her to eat again?" Ahmet thought aloud without noticing.
"Who?" His cousin seemed interested. But he moved away from him. If he knew he had dragged her to a restaurant for Asli to finish her plate, he wouldn't let him sleep tonight.
"Where are you going? Answer me!" Markus yelled behind him as they left the room.
"I'm off to check something. Don't wait for me. I'll be late." He shouted back as he hopped into his car. He was going to meet Asli. He had been avoiding her… unintentionally.
He hadn't known how to act after their last encounter. He could imagine she was angry he touched her. But then… somewhere in his head, he hoped… only could he hope that she was angry because he didn't sleep with her.
She was a virgin. Fck! He didn't have to enter her to know that. Just his fingers were too hard to penetrate.
Was it the fact that she was a virgin that scared him? Or was it that he was thinking about her? That evening.
He drew out his phone to text her. He wasn't going to force her if she didn't want to see him tonight. He didn't know what was wrong with him. Why did he change overnight?
Asli hadn't responded yet. He ran his fingers through his hair frustratingly. Now he was beginning to realize that he liked her. He would go insane if he didn't see.
Now that he was alone in their room, he couldn't help but think. A humorous laugh left his lips. 'Did I just think of this room as ours?' He asked himself. 'Have I ever done that before without realizing?' When did he start liking her?
Was it the first day they ever met eyeball to eyeball and gun to gun? Or was it the day he watched her dance? When the hell did he start to like her? He reflected as he heard the door handle move. He went for his gun but quickly let go when Asli appeared at the door.
