Uchiha's flies : Descendants are Born

Chapter 48: Ch-48:what is your kaleidoscope ability?

Standing over Danzo's lifeless form sprawled across the bloodstained floor, Sarutobi Hiruzen felt an intense wave of grief wash over him. He hadn't come here to kill Danzo; he hadn't even considered it a possibility. But the outcome left him with no choice. The betrayal stung deeply, for Danzo was not just a comrade but a friend—an ally since their earliest days. They had competed, clashed, and even conspired together over the years, forming an invisible but unbreakable bond.

Yet, today, Hiruzen had been forced to sever that bond himself. Danzo's deeds were too monstrous to ignore. The crimes were unforgivable: seizing Shisui's Sharingan, experimenting with Hashirama cells, and constructing that grotesque arm lined with Sharingan. All under the pretense of "protecting Konoha." Hiruzen understood that Danzo's true motives stemmed from his selfish ambition to claim the title of Hokage.

With a heavy heart, Hiruzen wiped his face and put away his kunai. His robes, still damp with blood, bore the marks of a severed friendship. He turned to leave, fighting back tears.

"Hiruzen…"

Danzo's faint whisper stopped him in his tracks. Hiruzen turned, startled to see Danzo still clinging to life. Summoning all his remaining strength, Danzo raised a trembling arm and beckoned his old friend closer.

Reluctantly, Hiruzen knelt beside him, listening as Danzo, struggling to breathe, rasped, "Hiruzen… In a way, I'm relieved. To finally see you take decisive action… I bear no grudge."

With a labored sigh, Danzo continued, his voice barely a whisper. "There's something… you need to know. Orochimaru… he has an operative planted here in Konoha… a young genin named Kabuto. But don't underestimate him, Hiruzen. Kabuto's strength and cunning could pose a real threat… one day… he may strike against you."

As Danzo's strength faded, he managed a faint smile. "At least… I die in the arms of an old friend."

Those were his last words. Danzo's long, conflicted life finally came to an end.

Outside, a few minutes later, Sarutobi Hiruzen emerged from the mental hospital. ANBU agents rushed to him, alarmed by the blood on his robes.

"Lord Hokage! Are you hurt?" one of them asked anxiously.

Hiruzen shook his head and dismissed their concern. "I'm fine. Go inside and retrieve Danzo's body. He… took his own life."

The ANBU captain blinked in surprise but quickly nodded and led his team inside.

Just then, another ANBU officer approached, handing Hiruzen a sealed note from Uzuki Yugao. Hiruzen broke the seal and scanned the message.

"Lord Hokage," it read, "I have successfully gained Haruto's trust and will become his wife tonight."

Hiruzen's expression remained unreadable as he handed the note back to the captain of the second ANBU team. "Inform Yugao to investigate the abilities of Haruto's Mangekyo Sharingan as soon as possible."

The ANBU team member nodded. "Understood, Lord Hokage. Also, we're continuing surveillance of the police department, though nearly all its employees are reportedly women affiliated with Haruto."

Hiruzen's eyebrows arched. "The entire department is run by women?"

"Yes, it's led by Special Jonin Mitarashi Anko."

Hiruzen sighed, a shadow of concern crossing his face. "Noted. Also, assign additional personnel to locate a genin named Kabuto."

As the ANBU agents moved to carry out his orders, Hiruzen lingered in thought. The danger Orochimaru represented loomed larger than ever.

Meanwhile, at Haruto's home, Uzuki Yugao lay beside him, biding her time. After sharing an intimate moment, she subtly steered their conversation toward her true purpose.

"Haruto," she began softly, her eyes wide with feigned curiosity. "That battle against Danzo… that blue giant you summoned… it was incredible."

Haruto chuckled, clearly pleased by her amazement. "That technique is called Susanoo. It's an ability that only awakens with the Mangekyo Sharingan."

"'Mangekyo Sharingan'? What is that?" Yugao asked, trying to appear innocent as she tilted her head. "Is it even stronger than the three-tomoe Sharingan?"

Haruto nodded, a hint of pride in his gaze. "Of course."

Sensing her chance, Yugao pressed on, trying to sound genuinely intrigued. "Could you tell me more? I'd love to know what makes your Mangekyo so powerful."

Normally, a shinobi would guard their unique powers closely. But Yugao was confident that their newfound bond would compel Haruto to share his secrets. She wasn't disappointed.

"My Mangekyo Sharingan grants me the ability to 'see everything,'" Haruto explained, a glint of satisfaction in his eyes.

"'See everything'? What does that mean?" Yugao asked, feigning confusion. "It sounds… abstract."

Haruto's gaze grew intense as he leaned closer. "It means I can see into anyone's mind. I can perceive their past, glimpse their future, and understand their present thoughts."

A chill ran down Yugao's spine as she grasped the full extent of his power. The implications were staggering—Haruto's ability could unveil any secret, no matter how deeply it was buried.
