Uchiha's flies : Descendants are Born

Looking at the confused and speechless Retsu, who was sitting on the bed, Haruto stood up and spoke calmly:

"Retsu, you should rest here for now. I won't reveal your true identity as an undercover agent to anyone. Your mission can still proceed. You're simply a tool for the Hokage. I won't put you in a difficult situation…"

After speaking, Haruto limped out of the room.

As he walked down the corridor, he quickly adjusted his posture, returning to his usual confident stance.

Haruto had been suppressing his emotions. He had no choice but to act this way. After all, Retsu was someone who could handle the situation, and she wasn't someone to easily crumble.

However, Haruto used his remaining self-control to curb his impulses. He wanted to be patient. Rather than forcing Retsu into bearing his heir as part of the "cooperation" with his plans, he felt it was better to wait and have her stay with him willingly. With her power, their future children could have potential greater than A-rank.

Haruto understood the difference between short-term satisfaction and long-term fulfillment.

"Let's go! The clan must continue to grow!"

There were still several areas of the village where Retsu had yet to establish contact, so Haruto was prepared to take action immediately.

"Haruto, wait!"

A voice called from behind. It was Retsu.

Retsu stood in the doorway, her head lowered in hesitation. "Haruto, come back. There's something I need to tell you."

"Uh… Let's talk tomorrow, if it's important."

Haruto was feeling irritable. He was still angry and not in the best mental state for a serious conversation.

Retsu, however, stood at the door, still unsure. "No… I really need to say it now…"

Haruto sighed in frustration. Given that she insisted, he turned back.

When he returned to the room, Haruto quickly sat down in the chair.

Retsu, sensing that Haruto might be keeping a distance on purpose, spoke softly, "You don't need to sit so far away from me. After all, I am your wife now."

"Not yet," Haruto replied. "That will only happen after we get married tomorrow. But, you do understand that I married you in name only, right? This is to prevent any embarrassment from the Hokage. You don't need to worry, I know you already have someone you care about, and I won't force you into anything."

Hearing this, Retsu smiled gently. "Haruto, I really didn't expect… it seems that your personality is completely different from what others said."

"Oh? What do they say about me?"

"They say you're a man of shallow desires, with multiple wives and concubines, someone who doesn't respect women."

"Well… they're half right," Haruto chuckled. "I do have a harem, but it's all for the revival of the Uchiha clan. You've seen what's happened to Uchiha recently. As a member of the clan, I'm just doing what needs to be done."

Retsu seemed to think for a moment, then said, "I see. It seems like everyone, including myself, misunderstood you. It's true… prejudice sometimes just needs one encounter to be broken."

"Haha… Let them talk, I don't care. But I am happy to have your approval…" Haruto smiled. "Anyway, that's probably all you wanted to say. Go get some rest. I'll head back now."

"Wait a minute, Haruto. There's something serious I want to talk about."

"Yeah? What is it?"

Retsu's face flushed slightly as she murmured, "I want you to use your Mangekyō Sharingan on me, just once, so you can truly understand how I feel."

"Eh?" Haruto was taken aback by Retsu's request.

"Haruto, don't you have the ability to see everything? I want you to understand… my real feelings now."

Retsu continued, her voice almost shy, "What you said earlier really made me open my eyes. I finally see the truth clearly. I'm ready to live my own life, free from the control of others. I won't be a tool for anyone anymore."

Haruto quickly turned his face away, avoiding her gaze, and replied awkwardly, "Alright, alright, I believe you, Retsu. You don't need to show me that much… There's no need for your powers now…"

"This is my way of showing you how I feel…" Retsu replied softly.

Haruto sighed. "Yeah, yeah, I understand. Your feelings are… sincere. I've already felt it. If I were to use my kaleidoscope on you now, it would mean I don't trust you. That wouldn't make sense."

Haruto stood up, covering his eyes with his hand, stumbling slightly as he walked toward the door. But just as he was about to leave, his body bumped into something soft.

Then, a gentle voice whispered in his ear.

"Haruto… this is your room. Don't leave me here alone…"

"If you insist on leaving, then let me fall under your spell again…"

"My true self… I think I just discovered it…"

Haruto froze in place.

"Could it be… that Retsu is…"

He suddenly understood why she wanted him to use his abilities. She was too embarrassed to directly admit it, so she hoped he would use his powers to see her feelings.

A small smile crept across Haruto's face.

It seemed there was no need to go anywhere else that night…

"Retsu, how could I leave you alone in the illusion?"

"I'm not leaving tonight."

The following day, as Haruto and Retsu slept soundly, chaos was unfolding in Konoha Village.

The Third Hokage had made a shocking announcement early in the morning:

—Konoha's senior advisor, Shimura Danzo, had committed suicide in a mental hospital the previous night, reportedly driven to it by the weight of his own crimes…

The news quickly became the talk of the village:

"Oh my god, Danzo committed suicide! What crimes could he have committed?"

"I don't know. No one's told me anything."

"Hmph, his crimes must have been serious if he took his own life. I've never liked him—he had such an arrogant attitude. He deserved it!"

"Come on now, the man's dead. Don't speak ill of him. Danzo did a lot to stabilize Konoha…"

"Oh? What did he contribute? Can you name anything?"

"Well, uh… Let me think… He did do something…"
