Chapter 41: Final Preparations

"Bang bang!" After Miles returned to the dormitory, he swept everything on his desk to the ground and smashed the small desk lamp. Then he threw the picture book he used to draw out of the window. He had just experienced the death of his uncle, and he was sad and angry. He had killed another person, and that person was his favorite uncle.

Suddenly, the picture book outside the window flew back again. Miles sensed it and subconsciously turned around to catch it. Everyone crawled in from the window. They all saw the tears in the corners of Miles' eyes and heard the news from Norton that the Prowler was Uncle Miles.

"Hey guy," Peter asked with concern, "Are you okay?" At that moment, Miles still hadn't recovered. Peter put his hand on his shoulder and said comfortingly, "I lost my good friend Harry." 

"What I lost was my Uncle Benjamin," the Shadow Spider-man also put his hand on Miles' shoulder. "What I lost was my father," Penny also had tears in her eyes. Although Rosa was younger than Penny, she still hugged Penny comfortingly. Gwen, Norton, and Rosa didn't speak. They were the luckiest of all, and no one was lost, so they chose to remain silent.

"Miles, the hardest thing for us to accept is that you can't save everyone every time," Spider-Ham, sitting on the chair, also comforted Miles.

After Miles laid the little fat man back on the bed, he looked back. Only Norton and Peter were looking at him.

"What happened to you guys?"

"Myers, we're here to say goodbye," Norton and Peter looked at each other, and Peter stood up and said.

This time is different from the previous ones. They will go to Jinbin's base camp, and it can be said that they are close to death. Peter's suggestion is not to let Miles continue to follow. "We can say goodbye at the collider." Miles knew they didn't want to take him, but he chose to say it anyway. "You don't understand, you have to stay here." Miles never thought that Norton, who had always supported him, would propose to give the reload key to Peter, which meant that he had no bargaining chips to follow. 

Although Peter was surprised, he still nodded to Norton and then looked at Miles, "Trust me, Miles, this time is different." "It's not fair! I'm going to give Kim and pay the price, you have to let me help." "I know you want revenge, but you're obviously not ready yet." Peter stopped talking and directly sprayed cobweb with one hand and pulled over the chair, then pushed Miles to sit on the chair, sprayed cobweb with both hands, and tangled him up in the chair. After Peter took the heavy-duty key from Miles' hand, he said to Norton, "We're going at dawn, we're running out of time."

Peter came out of the window without any hesitation, swung the cobweb, and left the dormitory. He had no reason to continue seeing Miles. "Norton, I..."
