"Ahh I see, Jayden is awake now huh." Aaron said in disbelief as he was full of slashes from their sparring with Katana.

"What are you so sad about?" Katana asked as she wiped her sweat. Aaron didn't answer her.

"I heard from Zade that you liked someone else." Katana said as Aaron didn't respond. "I see your a quiet person, It made me think that your disinterested about our future marriage." Katana sadly said.

"You knew that this marriage would benefit your own master right?" Katana asked as Aaron knew it all along yet he was stopped by the fact that Mary is someone he treasures.

"Say, You can just forget about that young girl and focus your future with me for the good of the Reyes Empire." Katana said.

"Why are you doing this? Our families are mortal enemies. You can't just invite yourself here and tell me that you want marriage in exchange for peace and reconciliation of both Empires." Aaron looked at Katana as Katana smiled.

"You might forget about it but I was the one who gave you this slash." Katana said as she touched Aaron's mascular chest.

"I see, your that girl that attacked our empire using a Katana rather than a gun. Your skills are quiet impressive." Aaron said as he commend Katana's battle skill.

Even if he kept on aiming for Katana, She will just sliced the bullet with her blade like it was nothing at all.

That is why having the Katana's Empire on their side is such a big step for Reyes Family.

Zel agreed with the Katana's offer that is why Katana was welcomed in Zade's Mansion.

"Zel told me that I cannot choose Zade since he is already married yet I can have Zade's twin which could be a good substitute for Zade." Katana explained.

"Why did you choose our Empire rather than the others?" Aaron asked.

"Your Empire protects. You might be ruthless but this Empire is different from others and I wanna be part of this family." Katana said as Aaron smiled.

'I see she have her reasons why she wants me while Mary is confused on what she actually likes.' Aaron said to himself and sigh.

'I'm running out of time now...' Aaron whispered as he watch how Katana swing her sword.

In the hospital where Zade, Wendy and Mary visited Jayden. Jayden smiled as he saw Wendy in good condition.

"Yokata..." Jayden whispered (Yokata means thank goodness on Japanese.)

Mary saw how Jayden really cared for Wendy as he sigh in relief seeing Wendy without a scratch.

Zade bow down his head as he thanked Jayden for saving his wife in danger. Jayden smiled as he knows that he need to protect her.

"The baby was it safe?" Jayden asked concerning to Wendy's child. "Yeah we're fine." Wendy said as she smiled at Jayden.

Mary was silent the whole time as Wendy smiled at her. "Mary took good care of you while your unconscious." Wendy said as Jayden looked at Mary and smiled.

"Thank you Mary..." Jayden said and smiled as Mary's heart starts beating fast.

'Ahhh, I guess I really liked Jayden after all.' Mary whispered in defeat as seeing Jayden being okay makes her feel glad.

"We'll leave right now, Mary you'll stay here?" Zade asked as Mary sadly smiled.

"Yeah, I don't think Aaron will be needing me anymore." Mary said as Zade and Wendy left.

"Did something happen while I was asleep?" Jayden asked as Mary shake her head.

"Hey, you know your not good at hiding your emotions right. Your eye's looked cold already." Jayden said as he hold into Mary's hand.

"Tell me..." Jayden said as Mary teared up. "What's stopping you from loving Aaron?" Jayden asked that made Mary clenched her fist.

"I love you Jayden! Your the person that I like! I was just confused because Aaron keep on pushing himself to me but I love you!" Mary confession didn't shock Jayden at all since he was prepared for this.

He was prepared to break Mary's heart so she can open it to the other person.

'One sides love just like my love for Wendy.' Jayden said to himself as he stared at Mary making him look at himself since they were both the same.

"My parents we're divorced and I run away from home thinking that they could atleast work things out since they have me." Jayden started as he let Mary sit next to him.

"But right now, I grew up and understand that my parents aren't super heroes. They are just two people who wrongly loved each other and was forced because they have me. I don't want to end up like that." Jayden said as Mary lean on his shoulder.

"I don't want to accept your love just because it would be convenient for me to move on from Wendy." He explained as Mary can't help herself and cried in tears.

"I want to support Wendy, I promise her that I'll take good care of her children. I cannot be with you, I hope you'll find someone better. Better than me, Better than Jayden." Jayden said as he pat Mary's head.

"Your just afraid of Aaron, Yet Aaron was courageous enough to kill me if I interfere with the both of you." Jayden said as Mary looked at him.

"Plus that night when you were kidnapped, I choosed to save Wendy rather than you and Aaron came to take your stab and bleed as he acted like it wasn't that bad at all. He protected you. Choose you upon all the above." Jayden added.

"You might not love him now but atleast try giving him a chance." Jayden added.

"To be loved is to be cherished and he cherished you more than anything else." Jayden said as Mary didn't say a word.

"Your father was not suppose to be alive, Aaron just suggested to cut his finger in exchange for his full loyalty to Zade." Jayden said.

"What? But he's the one who told me that they will execute my father." Mary said as Jayden smiled.

"After that talk in your room, Aaron went back to the basement and saved your father. Zade believe that Aaron had his reason and go with the plan." Jayden explained as he was there the whole time to watch the execution of that criminal.

"I guess by that I knew that Aaron really cared about you." Jayden said as he remembers when Aaron help them to study while Zade and Wendy are on honeymoon.

He caught Aaron staring at Mary sleeping while he touched her lips and smiled.

He never saw Aaron smiled like that since he is always angry about work and stuffs.

He knew by then that Aaron liked her he was just unsure about it.

"Aaron had Katana..." Mary started. "Aaron is a playboy." She added as Jayden smiled.

"Yet you let him mark you on your neck." Jayden said since the mark was still there.

"Katana came to the mansion claiming Aaron to be her husband. It would be a huge benefit for Zade's empire and I'm planning to go back home to the Miracle Village with my father." Mary said as Jayden looked at her.

"Then why are you making such a sad face?" Jayden asked as Mary looked at him.

"I don't know it just hurts me thinking about it." She said as she starts tearing up.

"I see, so you already planned leaving huh?" Jayden asked as Mary nodded. "I want to recover our name in the Miracle Village and help the villagers properly this time." Mary said as Jayden smiled.

'So she's choosing this path...' Jayden thought.

"I'm sorry if I cannot give back your feelings." Jayden said.

"You don't need to be sorry about it, You made it clear to me even if you didn't say it. I know I am no match for Wendy, But I was glad that your the one I fell for." Mary smiled as Jayden nodded.

Ever since Jayden smiled at while she was depressed about the happening Mary thought she saw an Angel.

'Aaron almost killed me that time...' Mary though as if it wasn't for Jayden she will be dead right now.

'I guess I really lose the game this time Wendy.' Mary said as she hugged Jayden and cried all her hearts out.

Two days later Jayden got discharged, Mary was going to leave the mansion and Aaron announced their engagement party with Katana.

"What are these two idiot's doing?" Wendy asked herself looking at how Mary smiled acting like she was okay with Aaron and Katana's engagement.

"We have to let them be babe. They are not kids anymore." Zade whispered as he nibble on Wendy's neck.

"Why did you even agreed on this engagement babe?" Wendy asked pissed.

"I didn't yet Aaron pushed it since he said that he's done waiting with Mary." Zade smiled as he looked at Aaron.

'I bet he's just testing Mary's patience...'
