Wendy felt sad for Mary, Seeing her acting okay with Aaron's engagement party isn't something that she wanted to see.

"Mary can I talk with you for awhile?" Wendy asked as Mary nodded.

"Are you really okay?" Wendy asked as Mary looked confused. "Yes I am, what are you so worried about?" Mary asked as Wendy sigh.

"Aren't you mad at this engagement party?" Wendy asked as Mary smiled. "No, Not at all plus this will be a huge benefit to the Reyes Empire right?" Mary said.

"But..."

"Wendy..." Mary called. "Can we just forget about this and let's all move on? I'll be going back to the Miracle Village to clear our name soon." Mary said as Wendy looked at how dedicated she was.

"Okay, I'll respect your decision." Wendy said.

"I'm sorry..." Mary started. "I'm sorry that I didn't had the courage to save grandma like you do." She added.

"I'm sorry if I just stand there and watch her suffer." She added.

"Grandma told me to forgive you and I already did. You don't need to keep that burden of yours forever." Wendy said as Mary cried.

"I hated my father for it but he was the only person that I have." Mary said as she hold Wendy's hand.

"I'm thankful that you didn't let me die. I'm thankful for letting Jayden be at my side. I'm thankful for everything Wendy. I'm sorry for being such a bad cousin." Mary added.

"Shhh that's enough now..." Wendy said as Jayden watched them from afar.

"It seems like Mary is determined to leave the Reyes now that Aaron is getting married." Zade started as Jayden poured him a drink.

"She planned to clean their names in the Miracle Village and take step on what to do for the better of their village." Jayden said.

"Jayden, When you protected Wendy and my child I am in a huge debt to you. Yet, I am not giving up Wendy without a fight." Zade said as Jayden smiled.

"Your already married and about to have some kids, Why are you still worried about me?" Jayden asked laughing as Zade glared at him.

"I just want to make sure that my Wife is mine alone." Zade added. "She's an amazing woman, You had a great Wife." Jayden said as he watch how Wendy console Mary.

"I haven't given up on her yet." Jayden reassured as Zade looked at him. "Did you rejected Mary?" Zade asked out of curiosity.

"Well I didn't want to meddle but I was just confused about-"

"I did..." Jayden said as he looked at Zade.

"I did reject Mary's feelings." Jayden added. "Because my love for your wife is so much more than my love for myself." Jayden said as Zade looked at him pissed.

"I'll kill you! I won't let you take my wife away from me!" Zade said as Jayden laugh. "I know you won't let me." Jayden said as Zade looked at him.

"Why are you doing all of this then?" Zade asked as Aaron sigh and looked at him.

"Because it makes Wendy smile and that is worth more than anything else in this world for me." Jayden was serious saying such heartwarming thing in front of Wendy's Husband.

"You loved my wife truly." Zade said as Jayden smiled.

Aaron looked from afar on how Wendy console Mary and it killed the hell out of him knowing that Mary is someone he treasures and he cannot stay by her side at all.

"Why do you want this marriage anyway?" Aaron asked Katana while Katana is drinking her favorite wine.

"The Reyes will protect my Empire." Katana said as Aaron is all ears on her.

"Leon's taking over the other clans and the next one on the list is the Katana's," Katana explained.

"The next one in line is the Katana, That is why you auctioned your heritage gun?" Aaron asked as Katana nodded.

"We have to in order to delay their attack, We barely have enough skilled subordinate and our family isn't that wealthy like the Reyes to use new weapons in killing." Katana added.

"You wanted marriage for protection when you can just sort this things out by talking to us properly." Aaron said as Katana smirked.

"As if you'll hear such request to your mortal enemy." Katana said as Aaron stared at her.

"Then shall I not marry you if the Reyes Empire will help you with that certain request?" Aaron asked as Katana laughed.

"You'll do anything to escape this marriage right? But are you even sure that Mary will even take you back?"

"That is not for you to decide." Aaron said as Katana smiled.

"It wasn't but I know I should be frank and open about it, Your dealing with a child after all." Katana said as Aaron looked at Mary going back to her table.

"Anyways if you reconsider my request of protection from the Leon's then maybe we could call off this engagement in exchange for Leon's head." Katana added as she left Aaron while greeting some guests.

Mary looked at Aaron like he was dealing with something big that made him looked like he wanted to kill someone.

"Mary," Mr. Wancho called as Mary looked at him.

"Let's go now we need to pack your bags. I don't want to stay longer in this mansion." Mr. Wancho said as Mary nodded.

Mary went to her room and starts packing when she heard a knock from the veranda.

"Hey..." Aaron called as Mary open the door for him.

"Your leaving huh?" Aaron asked as Mary nodded in response.

"Are you really fine with me getting married?" Aaron looked at how will Mary react as she smiled.

'She's smiling ....' Aaron was about to touch her when Mary steps back.

"This is for the best of your clan, I will be going back to my home town too. This might be strange but haha we started as enemies in the first place so you don't really need to worry about such things." Mary looked like she was about to cry in time if Aaron won't leave now.

"You can go now..." Mary added.

"Hey looked at me, I'll come back and get you on that stupid Miracle Village of yours. You just have to wait and believe in me." Aaron said.

'Believe in him huh?' Mary looked at how serious Aaron eye's is...

"If you'll come too late maybe I'll be bored and get married to another men." Mary joked as Aaron looked serious.

"Hey, You don't need to do this. I want a peaceful life so please have the life that you wanted too." Mary said and she hold on into Aaron's hand.

"I am really grateful to all of you and I had the best time living here in the Reyes Mansion. I will never forget your kindness and the things that you did for me was very thoughtful." Mary smiled at him.

"Congratulations on you engagement." She added as she walked out the room carrying her bag.

'This shouldn't hurt that much since I loved Jayden on the first place.' Mary thought as she saw Jayden from a far waiting for her.

She was about to walk towards him when a hand grabbed her hand and then hugged her from behind.

"Aaron..."

"I will come after you, So wait for me I'll fixed this mess." Aaron whispered in her ears as Mary realized why she's afraid of falling from Aaron.

She's afraid to be loved.

"I love you, I love you Maria Mary Emerie." Aaron whispered as he tightened the hugged.

Mary starts sobbing as she take Aaron's hand off her.

"I have to go now."

After Mary left Aaron bow down his knees in front of Zade and told him to let him assist the Katana in getting rid of Leon's Empire.

Aaron didn't come home for almost six long months.

Wendy's tummy is showing a baby bump as Zade is so happy to see his family in a safe place.

"Babe, Will Aaron be okay? It's been six months already." Wendy said and looked at Zade who is busy reading some books.

"He will be fine, Besides this is his way of courtship." Zade added as Jayden prepared their tea.

"Ohhh Jayden you really made yourself suitable to be Zade's assistant if Aaron isn't around." Wendy complimented Jayden as Jayden smiled.

"Indeed, Yet I still have things that I lack about. Anyways, Mary delivered a letter today." Jayden handed the letter that Mary sent as Wendy smiled and opened it.

It was an update about the miracle village and Mary is doing a good job in restoring the place with the help of Reyes.

The last sentence caught Wendy off guard.

"Ahhhhh!!!" Wendy shriek as Zade came to her worried.

A car stopped in front of the Reyes Mansion as Aaron step out on it and start walking towards the library where everyone gathered.

"What? What is it?!" Zade asked as he looked at the letter.

Aaron opened the library door and was about to say something when Wendy shouted.

"Mary is getting married!!!!"
