You Are Deep in The Stars

Chapter 77 - Rough Caregiver I

Familiar dazzling lights, familiar glass windows.

Wang Yuanchen put his hands in the pockets of his windbreaker and walked through the white corridor with an indifferent expression. This was the place he often visited when he was a child and the beginning of all nightmares. On the first floor of the basement, the assistant lady wearing glasses waited there with a professional smile on her face and said respectfully, “Mr. Shi has been waiting for you for a long time, young master.”

Wang Yuanchen glanced at the closed door in front of him.

“The internal password has never changed,” the assistant lady reminded him.

Wang Yuanchen took half a step back, then suddenly flew up and stepped over. The bullet-proof door with special specifications cracked backward like brittle glass, as if it had been bombed by a powerful bomb. At the same time, a piercing alarm sounded, echoing sharply, almost bursting the eardrums.

“I preferred you to use your powers elsewhere,” Shi Tian said, turning off the alarm and motioning the assistant to leave with his eyes. “Go tell others that nothing happened here.”

“Where’s Linda?” Wang Yuanchen walked in and didn’t talk nonsense.

“I’m surprised that you actually came to save her,” Shi Tian handed over a glass of wine. “Can you tell me the reason? According to your personality, you shouldn’t meddle in such nosy matters, so…” He paused for a moment before continuing, “Don’t tell me that you were really in a relationship with her.”

The other party’s tone was very calm, but Wang Yuanchen knew that if he gave a positive answer, the wayward girl might have turned into a stiff specimen before long. He said, “You robbed Han Zhuo’s people.”

“He is also interested in this little girl?” Shi Tian nodded. “Not surprising, after all, every scientific research institution wants to get such a rare mutant physique.”

“So, you didn’t plan to let her go?” Wang Yuanchen asked.

“If you were willing to come back, then I could consider it,” Shi Tian stretched out his hand, attempting to touch Wang Yuanchen’s cheek. However, his bones almost broke when he was still thirty centimetres away.

“You really disgust me,” Wang Yuanchen said, flying up with a kick again, causing the sofa and Shi Tian sitting on it to slide to the corner of the room.

Shi Tian raised his hands to express surrender and then suggested, “You can let Han Zhuo come to me on his own. For this girl, I have some other deals I want to make with him.”

“I couldn’t ask for it,” Wang Yuanchen turned around and left, as if this place was black mud, and he would suffocate if he stayed for one more second.

“Won’t you stay?” Shi Tian invited from behind him. “I’m looking forward to a meeting between three of us, three of the best in the world…”

Before the words “superpower” were uttered, Wang Yuanchen’s back disappeared at the end of the corridor.

A broken bulletproof door shook and finally fell to the ground with a muffled sound. It was the strongest and most flexible material in the laboratory, strong enough to withstand fierce firepower like raindrops. However, in front of Wang Yuanchen, it could only be equivalent to a piece of crispy wafer biscuits. The messy laboratory in front of him was the best proof that as he grew older, the superpowers in his body increased day by day.

“Do you know?” Shi Tian answered the phone at hand and said with emotion, “He is truly a treasure, both in appearance and ability.”

“You can save your love for Aspis to reveal in person,” Han Zhuo said on the other end. “Tell me what you need to do before you let Linda go.”

“Wu Zigang wants her too?” Shi Tian tutted disdainfully. “I thought the Third Laboratory was completely destroyed after Qian Ning’s blow.”

“It has nothing to do with the Third Laboratory,” Han Zhuo said, displeased. “I hope you can figure out the point of this matter. No matter how many times Linda was taken away by you before this, she is my bartender now.”

“I have no intention of provoking you,” Shi Tian looked at Linda on the screen. “This girl is indeed rare, but compared to you and Aspis, she is not worth mentioning at all.”

“Let her go,” Han Zhuo said.

“No problem,” Shi Tian agreed happily. “But I need to talk to you in person.”

.

In the apartment on Xinghai Road, Bai Xi concentrated on dripping medicine into Liu Chunchun’s throat while wearing glasses. The diluted potion slid down his throat, numbing and itching. Occasionally, some of it fell on the base of the tongue, and tens of thousands of sour little bombs exploded in an instant, causing Liu Chunchun to wrinkle his eyebrows and nose, unable to drink water. After all, for the current Liu Chunchun, swallowing saliva was like going up a mountain of swords and down a sea of fire.

After finally drinking the last bit, Bai Xi was covered in sweat. He asked Liu Chunchun nervously, “Do you feel better?”

“It’s not as good as before,” Liu Chunchun replied sincerely. Although the level of care was commendable, Mr. Bai’s nursing skills were indeed not very good. Not only was his eyesight bad, but his hands were shaking.

“It will be fine tomorrow,” Bai Xi comforted him roughly. “Have a good rest tonight.”

“Then where will Brother Han sleep?” Liu Chunchun was very embarrassed.

“Him?” Bai Xi replied calmly. “Sofa.”

“Oh.” Liu Chunchun agreed without saying much. After coming back from the hospital, the two of them didn’t talk about what happened during the day. After all, it was so embarrassing that it was unspeakable.
